Trustpilot is a disgusting review site, they publish only those reviews that are convenient to their moderators and to companies that pay them.
I posted some comments on Trustpilot.com about a few companies and they blocked my reviews and recognized them as erroneous or biassed just because I am Muslim.
They considered my arguments to be groundless.
Sitejabber is the most reliable, trustworthy and most objective consumer review site.
Boycott Trustpilot!

I had a bad experience with uber, gave a 1 star review, and my Trustpilot account along with my other reviews were deleted. So I made another account, gave trustpilot a 1 star and a reason why, and this account was suspended...

Trust pilot keeps taking my honest authentic temu.com review down. They have done it twice now. Trust pilot only takes reviews down if the company whines to them. No other company besides the BBB does this when companies pay the BBB to remove complaints and give them a higher grade. None of my other reviews on the trust pilot site have been removed. I wonder what is so special about temu.com that they can have my review removed?

Trust pilot doesn't allow 100% honest reviews on their website. They are biased towards the company you review. They will remove your review if you are honest about your negative experience citing violation of their guidelines which is complete b.s. They will remove your review if they want to even if you have not violated any of their guidelines. They will just make up a reason to remove it. Usually it's removed if the company you reviewed saw the review and whined and cried to have it taken down because trust pilot have no way to confirm you experience was "factual" or not because they weren't the one that was treated poorly by the company, we were. Trust pilot's motto is "Help millions of buyers just like you find the best of the best… and steer clear of the rest. So by removing customer's negative reviews they are in fact skewing the view of the company you had a bad experience with reducing negative impact on the company. Therefore biased toward the customer and favortism toward the company. Trustpilot should change their name to NoTrustPilot.

Trustpilot plays both sides of the street. It accepts some reviews from consumers (if you somehow manage to successfully meander its byzantine review scheme). It also accepts money from companies while removing critical reviews upon request. Trustpilot (weird name by the way) just rejects other critical reviews. Attempted to post a negative review of a doctor; did not expect the train wreck that ensued -- repeated popups of "Opps, something has gone wrong." Well, yeah - the wrong being a waste of time trying to post on Trustpilot. Two thumbs down, and a few toes as well. Use Yelp; or topconsumerreviews.com; or Consumer Reports; or Wirecutter. Easier. Better. And TRUSTWORTHY.

I trusted them until I visited a site called Abode Jungle which sold me goods under false advertising and refused to return money. I looked on Trustpilot where 30% of other people had left 1* reviews each with a different story. All the other reviews were 5* reviews in poor awkward English
E.G.
"I walked in nearly any store inside UK to look for ceeling lights. Abode jungle have such good range and reliable."
"Secure payments and fast shipping are great features."
With each week more of these demonstrably fake 5* reviews bumped up the overall score to 4.1* which according to Trustpilot is "Great"
Even without the fake reviews - how can a "Great" company get 30% 1* reviews? Nearly a third of the customers for this site had (now 25%) been cheated out of money and Trustpilot is making this happen.

None of my negative reviews stick. They never get in touch for more info...they just delete them. I provide any info they ask for when posting review like support ticket number. I have no idea what the point is with trustpilot any more...what can we do?! They need investigating. This is my first review here...I really hope this place isn't like trustpilot and maybe I can start using this instead?

If you go through all of the reviews on here you will see that nearly all of them are negative about trustpilot.com. I was just on there and it appears they make money by forcing businesses to pay them to get positive reviews. For example, I was looking at reviews for plenty of fish. Looking at the overall review for plenty of fish you would think that it is a trustworthy company. Looking through the first page I noticed that all of the reviews were positive and nearly entirely fake reviews. Once you go past the first page of reviews nearly 100% of the reviews are negative and from reviewers that have posted multiple reviews under their profile. I have personally had multiple truthful honest negative reviews of companies taken down by trust pilot because companies were able to pay to have my reviews taken down. This company works by extorting businesses and businesses pay to ensure that they have positive ratings on trust pilot.com. Please note that a very high percentage of reviews on trust pilot.com or fake reviews and created by scammers or bots. Near the all reviews that are positive come from people with only one review under their profile which is indicative of a fake review. Never right reviews on this site and never trust positive reviews on this site.

Tip for consumers:
Do not contribute to the scam extortionist site. Do not trust the reviews that are positive on the site. Never review on this site. I made the mistake of reviewing on this site previously until I noticed that my negative reviews were being taken down. My reviews were not malicious and they were honest well-written reviews. Companies were able to pay to have my reviews taken down.

Don't believe a single review on Trustpilot. They protect criminals. Trustpilot doesn't allow adverse reviews. Scammers 'flag' honest reviews by people simply wanting to warn others about a scam company & this platform takes the honest reviews down, leaving the Scammers fake 5 star reviews. This is despite me providing evidence of interaction with the Scammers in the form of fake invoice with account details that dont exist in Australia & the fact that the scammers fake website is currently suspended by Google. Scammers paradise.

Trustpilot suspended my account, for...FRAUD? I thought they were Joking. Of course they won't tell me what fraud I allegedly committed! Lol.
I had been reviewing for Years and they make some excuse to suspend/BLOCK me, they should be ashamed but this type of person has no conscience.
What they're accusing me of is clearly defamation of character.

I contributed a review to trust pilot on a company that did a horrible job and it should be noted to any future consumers. Trust pilot said my review was fake and they removed it. Well my review was NOT fake and I have every right to bring to light the poor experience I had. In conclusion, TRUST PILOT WILL CENSOR AND REMOVE HOUR REVIEW AT BECUASE CLIENTS PAY THEM. It's a TOTAL SCAM! Don't trust trust pilot!

I had posted a few diverse reviews there, but found that they remove reviews when companies flag them. The reviews were all truthful and honest, with absolute facts, not hearsay or conjecture but proof of criminal behavior and they just blame A.I. For the censorship. It's fair to say that if you bother to post a review on Trustpilot that is critical of a large, well heeled company, it'll be 'down' in 24 hours or less because the company can 'flag' without showing proof that your review truly is erroneous, incorrect, or has no basis in fact. Today in America where 'regulations' and 'regulators' are a thing of the past, how else are we to tell others of a dishonest, criminal and in some cases, truly predatory company? The answer: Not using these 'fake' evaluation sites. I actually believe like 'BBB' who carries one company at 'A+', but all of the ratings for the company are ONE STAR, this tells you something about 'obvious' payola there too. Complain to the government? Yeah, that does a lot of good (NOT!) In a world that is now basically without rule of law, honest appraisals of criminal companies who's predation and wrongdoing are clear, are essential components of FIRST AMENDMENT in the U.S. where one particular 'tribe' seems hell bent for leather to SUPPRESS all criticism of wrongdoing and criminal behavior, but seek to punish those who step up to provide the rest of the public with a WARNING about the dangers of such suppression. We all have a responsibility to warn others of a clear and present danger, and when that's suppressed or halted, overal society itself suffers because your voice is stifled and taken away by autocrats, plutocrats, and yeah, kleptocrats.

They've started mass deleting hundreds of thousands of genuine reviews (negative ones mainly - even from verified user's with evidence). I would imagine this is in exchange for money. They seem to especially target negative reviews for DEI/neo-Marxist companies like recently viral gaming consultancy company Sweet baby Inc. To top it off, I made a negative review for their own company stating why and that they would likely delete it - and they did. Proof attached.

Trustpilot now instantly deletes negative reviews even if they are detailed personal experiences a user has had with a website/company. And is also an ID verified user.

A useless website that can no longer be used.

They are especially quick to delete negative reviews of ESG/DIEI laden companies/websites which is particularly nefarious and concerning.

I posted a 1 star review based on a legitimate experience with a company that blatantly scammed me. Trustpilot emailed me that my review was removed due false information. My review captured information relating to what the company offers, and how none of what they deliver is legit or what is offered. I had chat transcripts, credit card company print outs, screenshots of product offered vs delivered, etc. Yet there are several 5 star reviews that are so painfully obvious they're not from real clients posted on this company's Trustpilot account. This is clearly a site for scammers & not a site for the consumer.

Trustpilot is supposed to be a website that allows people to post reviews of various businesses. They do not do this, they have to be sellouts. I submitted several pieces of evidence, such as receipts of payment, and they took down my reviews of a company. Not just once, but years after the fact, I was continuously under scrutiny and required to contact people at Trustpilot for years and years, submitting and resubmitting document after document. They have impossible standards and I'm sure are in the pockets of any company that you'd want to warn others about. I hope everyone who works at Trustpilot burns in hell.

If i see their logo on a site I will not use them, They are biased and corrupted, not a true review site at all, just a corrupt business that takes bribes to remove negative reviews and removes positive reviews if it's against their political views. There is not a good point anywhere, it is just a scammy site that needs to be investigated.

Trustpilot is garbage. They kept taking down my review and refused to tell me why. I initially provided them a copy of an invoice from the company I was reviewing in order to verify my business relationship with them. I received a response from "Nadine S." thanking me, and stating that they WERE able to verify my review and that they had reactivated it. So that email essentially declared that my review was totally legit. The problem was that they didn't reactivate my review at all. Numerous further emails went unanswered, and finally, a response came from the same person (Nadine S.) saying, "Upon reinvestigating the case we've seen that your review should stay offline as it contravenes our guidelines." Then it goes on to say, "Please rest assured that we would only take this action when multiple parameters show that a review is fake." So I went from being fake initially, to legit, and then fake again. Why was it declared fake? I'll never know, because she said in her obviously copied/pasted email to me, "To protect the integrity of our platform, unfortunately, we cannot give you specific details about why your review has been removed." So essentially they're saying to me, "You're review is fake, and you can't question us. We're simply done with you." And it ends with "Kind regards..." This is NOT a trustworthy company. Trustpilot is clearly in the manipulation business.

Do not trust trustpilot. They do remove honest negative reviews that show real face of companies asking for proves, names that are impossible to get especially when you deal with crypto. At the same time they post hundreds of positive reviews from fake users supporting those scam companies. Even when scam companies got shut down with stolen money, trustpilot still protects them from receiving too many negative reviews. So it's simple - don't trust trustpilot and never make your decision based on trustpilot reviews, NEVER!

The site is popular and known to give you a glimpse of what most websites truly offers. This website has been useful to me personally and I don't have to waste my time on scam sites. However, I got discouraged when I saw that some sites are actually begging for good reviews from users in return for freebies.
