I bought the pinkish dress with the black embroidered flowers on the front. It's a tulip shape and made of a tulle fabric. I could not have been happier in a purchase, fit, comfort, feel, and style. My only problem is I may not find another occasion to wear it! It was prompt, true to size and just lovely. I would not hesitate to order from Venus again. I also picked some other dresses from on line companies that say they do returns but will not. All from China. I will from now on always check reviews and give this a 5 star!
I have ordered many swimsuits from them. Typically nice products; however, some have fallen apart, turned strange color, etc. They do not ship promptly. Ordered several items on Monday and they did not ship out until Thursday. I will not receive the items in time for a trip now.

Ordered 2 dresses since sizing was not clear. Paid extra for next day shipping which arrived 3 days late. I am returning 1 item and they're charging me an extra $12 because the closest place to return using their service is an hour away. Customers beware, won't use them again.

Don't pay extra for fast shipping, don't buy anything if you don't live close to one of their return places.

I ordered some stuff back on May 20,2021. Have not received it yet. I keep sending emails, and as always they lie and make up some excuse. It's sad when even so called businesses are scammers too. Trying to get a refund just sad.

I have to admit there have been complications with Venus in the past - in fact I stopped ordering from them because of it. Recently, I began buying from them (this summer), but am waiting for 4 orders - One is already lost in the mail! I talked with a supervisor this morning who told me she would call once she can track the item with Landmark... it's now the end of the day, doesn't look like it will be resolved soon. I will keep this site posted to let everyone know how they make good or if they lose what could be a terrific customer. (I love clothes and my husband likes what I have bought from Venus)... it's up to them at this point!

I have been super satisfied with Venus.com. It is the only site where I buy swim wear, always fits perfectly, high quality, made in the USA. I've ordered from Venus more times than I can count. I've never had issues with returns when I have received something that didn't quite fit right. The online chat reps are very helpful if you have questions. LOVE the items I get from Venus. Much more trustworthy than those awful foreign companies that advertise on Facebook. Not even in the same category! (photo is of me in a dress purchased from Venus for a formal event)

I had to return 3 pair of pants because they ran too big. Venus has a new return policy called, "Happy Return Bar". Well I'm not happy at all. They charged me a $7.84 return fee plus a promotional shipping adjustment for $6.95. So for the pleasure of trying on their jeans they charged me $11.90. Last time I will be ordering from them. I don't want to do business with a merchant that is sneaky.

Unhappy… first use, thread coming undone. Hole in pocket. Cheap feeling material. Stiff and itchy. Washed one pair of casual shorts…still itchy.
If we are going to pay $400-700% over cost, please at least make sure we are not coming undone at the seams in public for the first day!
Spend your extra $50 elsewhere.

I purchased a dress, ordered it in 2 sizes. Kept the one that fit better, and want to return the other. I have to say their return policy is awful. If you start a return online, you will be stuck. Absolutely no changes, and when you call customer service, they tell you they can't do anything once a return is initiated. Absolutely done shopping here, too much of a hassle. A lot better options with easier returns out there.

I purchased a hi low dress from this sight cheap material I was charged for my purchase and for me return that cheap crap! That's how they stay in business obviously not because the quality of their clothing for sure. I really rate this company with a negative star

So I ordered 289.00 worth of cloths. It was damaged in the mail and never received. I called and they sent out what they didn't have on back order. So by the end of two months dealing with these idiots I am still missing an outfit and they won't send it. There trying to charge my card again for something I paid for two months ago. What a joke! First time order here. I expected some mishaps with online ordering but this one was mostly OK. I ordered 5 items: 1 for myself and 4 for my daughter. I liked my item( final sale and deeply discounted but acceptable), my daughters' items were very wrinkled which I know how to fix but one final sale item labeled XS was immensely huge( it fit my medium frame), unfortunately, cannot return this one. This is disappointing but everything could have been worse.

I purchased a tunic sweater from Venus on December 23,2014 and only paid for standard shipping so I knew that I would not get my item until after the 1st of the year which was okay but their shipping is the only reason why they are not getting a 5 star from me. After placing my order, I started reading reviews on them and with all the negative reviews are started second guessing my order, however, once I got my sweater, I must say that I am very satisfied with the item. It is not of poor quality as other reviewers stated and the fit is very good, other reviewers said the sizes ran small or large. Again no complaints on the clothing just wish they had a faster shipping that was a little cheaper.
BUYER BEWARE!. I've purchased two items and returned both. One was received by Venus on 11/18 and the other on 12/7 as indicated by UPS tracking numbers. Getting a refund is next to impossible. After multiple chats and emails, I still haven't gotten my refund. Venus said it was sent to paypal. Paypal shows no record. Venus indicated to contact my bank. My account still shows the credit for the amount $54.59! This is my experience. I will never purchase from Venus again. Not worth the headaches.

I've purchased several items for years and my past couple purchases, I keep having issues. I purchased a deep plunge bra and it's awful - it won't stick (it's the correct size and I am not wearing any creams that can interfere with application), and it came dented. I originally flagged the dent and the customer service response was terrible - I think I'll stop purchasing in the future.

Received a catalog with a promo code. Before ordering checked the return policy. NOwhere does it say there is a charge. Ordered two items, neither fit. Used their return label to return. They charged me $6.95 to return and some bogus $4.95 charge because I had free shipping to me. They will not respond to my emails. Never again!

I must say that I am normally very happy with my purchases from Venus and would give a 5 stars for all of my other purchases and the items I had to return. However, this time I purchased the crochet tunic in March 2016 and wore it in July and then again in August. I hand washed it in August in the washing machine and it falls apart at the bottom. I have washed similar items using the same method and have not had any issues prior to this one. When calling Venus to complain they were very customer nice but could not return my item because of their 60 and 90 days return and exchange policy. This policy needs to be changed for poor quality items or they need to fix these items. I filed a complaint with Quality Control and I will see what happens next.

I have ordered several items from Venus but truly was disappointed when I had it returned and item that was crap. They actually charged me a restocking charge. This is the last time I will order from Venus. I don't believe that I should have to pay for restocking charge and also for the freight of $4.95. I hate pettiness and I'm truly through with Venus. I am cutting up their credit card

Everything about my experiences was horrible! I even gave them 3 chances. Wrong items, clothes falling apart after wearing it once, items never showing up and customer service that is non existent! Please do not put yourself in a horrible position.
Rude agents on the phone. Claim they never received my return - giving me excuse that due to what is going on, mail takes longer. No it does not - I am shopping online constantly and have had zero problems with any other company for purchases or returns. Don't waste your time ordering anything with this company.

I've ordered from them a couple of times and have received gifts from them as well. Each item has something wrong with it. It ranges from slight to totally different product. They do carry unique items, however, they sacrifice quality big time. The people who love these clothes must not mind that. I just received an item that is incredibly poorly made, terrible material, and doesn't match the description/ picture at all. As with most "made in China" clothing the sizes are also off (way smaller). It's really a shame. I'm not looking forward to the return experience. Go buy clothing from someone who sells quality to match the price. Venus certainly doesn't. It would be great if they read these reviews and reform their quality control methods.
I only buy their swimsuits because the prices are reasonable. But as the saying goes, "You get what you pay for." The quality is just ok. I'd rather spend the same $ on a name brand that's on sale. Anyways, my swimsuit from last year didn't hold up so I decided to buy a different one this summer. I bought three swimsuits knowing that I'd have to return 1 or 2 of them. I used their $6.95 return label. However when I got my confirmation email, I was also charged $7.95 for shipping. When I called to complain, I was told that, after returning those two items, my purchase was now below $99. Hence the additional shipping fee. I shop various sites online and have never heard such a thing. Lastly, it takes 5-7 business days for standard shipping which is way too long versus other sites. I'm very disappointed with their business practices and taking my money elsewhere.
Prices are not in alignment with today's market. In addition, their credit card payment cutoff on the due date is 5:00 p.m. EST. That is way too early for those of us who work full-time. They only grant one waiver every 18 months and are unforgiving. This is absolutely unacceptable. I have been a customer for 20+ years and will not be shopping here much longer if this continues. Venus, you need to put the customer first. You used to do so and THAT is how you grew as a company. Get over yourself.
