I read all the bad reviews. Sorry to hear of all the troubles. We rented a log cabin near Gatlinburg. The cabin was as nice as pictures showed. I had to call them about a serious maintenance problem on second day. They responded quickly and worked until the problem was solved. They answered all phone calls no matter what time of day or night. I was pleased when THEY suggested to review our problem for compensation. I did not have to ask. They reimbursed me very fairly for my inconvenience. Maybe the local company they team with in Gatlinburg is extremely efficient. I would rent here again.

However, when booking, it is not disclosed that Vtrips is a separate company and charge a separate booking fee, whether you cancel or not. This fee and information was NOT there when I booked. We tried to dispute the chg with our credit card company, but V trips sent documentation showing that the booking fee was disclosed, but it was not. So we will not be getting our money back. They are unscrupulous and I'm sure rip off a lot of people this way. Don't book through them!

We have rented numerous times from Vtrips, don't go through one that handles ptoperty at Cinnamon beach in Palm Coast. They are awful! (Jessica) Amenities are always shut down, no pool chairs, glasses being used by adults. Chairs were defective but nothing was brought in to make the pool area enjoyable. Three trips and only 1st trip were facilities all up and running. I even called and emailed prior to coming and told everything available. BS………
My booking was at time when VTrips offered promo $50 amazon gift card. It's been 3 weeks after my vac, called multiple times - still no card. Manager of accounting department is never available. Asked to call me back - never happened. Very frustrating.
I've never been so frustrated in my life as I am dealing with VTrips. I was lucky enough to reach a customer service representative on 3 days ago who offered a 50% refund on my reservation or to move it. I discussed this with my other guests and we came to the conclusion that a 50% refund was best for our situation. Since then I've called, left messages, and numerous emails but no one is willing to respond. It seems as though the company is using this pandemic as a way to double-dip on profits. Costs are low with no need to clean empty units, government is offering bailouts and subsidies to companies like these, but they also want to keep the money of hard working Americans simply looking for a reasonable resolution to an international problem.

Paid for two different travel insurance coverages that claim a pandemic is a foreseeable event (BS). And these criminals apparently are getting rich on deposits for trips that no one can take. Bad Karma, hope they go bankrupt.

We booked rooms through Vrbo. A hurricane is headed to FL covering the entire coast. They will not offer a refund! Rude people! Will not help or return calls! Our other unit refunded immediately without a problem (Cinnamon Beach Vacations)!
Did not receive any information until 3 hour's before check in and on our way! I called a few day's ahead was told everything was a go got the code to get in called the day of I had to leave message that was@ 12 noon got a call at 2:30 as I was driving telling me it's cancelled will not return my calls what a company!

While most travel related companies are being reasonable and flexible about cancellations during this world-wide pandemic, VTrips is being really terrible about it. We have a reservation in late April and they're not offering cancellations, only rescheduling. And you have to do this within a very short amount of time, for us it's 10 days. And if the dates you pick are more than your current rate you have to pay the difference. So they get to make money off your misfortune during this time. I was already frustrated with them when the cabin we booked and paid for became "unavailable" and to get another similar cabin we had to pay more. They clearly don't care about customer service. There are better companies out there, don't book anything through them.

Notified vtrips about upstairs air conditioner not working. They were very apologetic and kept promising to get it fixed, that they didn't have another rental available to accommodate so many people, and that we would be put on the reimbursement log for a refund (I was also assured it would be a sizeable amount). Each day I called, I was given more excuses and after 7 days the air had not been fixed. Now they send me a refund for a little over 100 dollars for 2/3 of the beds in bedrooms never having air and not being able to stay in the upstairs at all for a week. I wish I had researched the company besides reading reviews on their own website.

I spent thousands renting what seemed to be a dream house. Arrived to find dead roaches in five different areas. It is disgusting. I also found hair in a sink and bugs in a toilet. They will do nothing about it other than they came and swept up the roaches. All of that took 4 hours of my time---the beginning of what was supposed to be a stress free vacation.
Below of is a picture of just one of the places we found roaches. Our unit is a 4 bedroom house called Ocean Way.

I was very mad at VTrips. On the phone they had told us one thing but charged our credit card the full amount -- not just the lost deposit. And didn't return our phone calls or emails. But our complaint finally got to the right person and they are trying to make it right. I'll adjust this review again if they truly follow through.

After taking time off work and spending a ton of money in preparation, VTrips wrote to us 4 days before departure saying they want more money. My wife spent 30 minutes on hold, and then I spent 40. At the end of 40 minutes, I received a message saying I was next in line and was promptly disconnected. I strongly recommend that you do not book here. They are unlikely to be in business long. If you work here, I recommend you start looking for alternate employment.

Still have not received communication, still have not even received the 50% refund they offered.
I had a reply on my original post that stated for me to reach out via private message... I did so, and still have yet to receive a response.
I had hopes that this company would make things right during such tough and trying times that this world is facing. Unfortunately, I have lost all faith in the intentions and integrity of Vtrips LLC/Vacation Rental Pros.
I will update this post as needed, and I hope that this review helps or prevents someone else from dealing with the frustration I have dealt with.
First off let me start by saying that myself and my husband are both frontline Emergency Room providers working amongst this pandemic that has definitely turned our world upside down... the daily stress and chaos is unlike anything I have ever prepared for or experienced... mentally, physically, emotionally.
When our work announced the cancellation of all vacations and travel, and as the pandemic evolved, I immediately contacted this company to cancel our vacation. It took multiple attempts to finally get ahold of someone, and once I finally did, I was offered to change my vacation to a later date. I explained to the company that I had plans to reschedule my vacation, but at this time I cannot possibly do so without knowing the future. They have since offered me a 50% refund or to reschedule for a later date through 2021 but with paying the difference for a higher cost. This is unacceptable in my eyes.
At this point I don't know a date through 2021, heck I don't even know if I will be alive in 2021.
My family's world has been completely turned upside down due to this virus as is the rest of the World... my children are suffering due to the fact that they have to distance mom and dad, they can't see their friends, they can't play sports, and now vacation is cancelled.
I had full intent in booking/rescheduling my vacation at this same location as soon as I knew a timeframe of when I can vacation... but with the way I have been treated, that will not be happening.
These are tough and trying times for all right now. The last thing that needs to be occurring is for people to be taken advantage of, and that is what I feel this company has done.
Our spring break vacation rental was cancelled 1 hour prior to our check in time. The manager claimed the owner of the rental decided not to honor our booking and there was nothing they could do for us. This is completely unacceptable, the company should have better policies in place to protect their renters. We drove 5 1/2 hours and had no place to stay. They were completely unhelpful to us and basically just said we had no rights

I am beyond frustrated with trying to reach Vtrips to get any answers to my questions with this global pandemic in place. I booked with Vtrips thinking I was booking with a reliable, reputable company but see now this has been a big mistake. I have booked another rental on the other side of Maui with another company who has been stellar in their proactive approach and communication. Vtrips has taken my money and now I'm left here wondering if it's gone. I even tried contacting the email you see in some of the responses below and still no answer. Beware of booking with Vtrips. This is definitely the worst I've encountered and with everything going in, this could've been a time to shine but instead they are treating their customers like they're nothing in the middle of an already stressful situation.

I had couple questions about property I was interested in booking. They refused to answer stating privacy & said all amenities listed on site which they were not. If they refuse to answer a simple question I certainly would be leery of booking with them.

Do not stay here. The cabin is small, dirty, poorly up-kept, has heavily outdated appliances and furniture, and no wi-fi. We live in 21st century America and no wi-fi, really? The hot tub does not work either. Absolutely terrible experience and only our first day.

This company can't help you. They're here for your money and nothing else. You have a problem? Their branch in Hilton Head can't do anything, they can't even book a room because 'our headquarters is in Florida'. So what CAN you do? Lol Book from individuals in AirBnB, not corporations.
We stayed at the Dawn Condos in Galveston. The condo we stayed in was very beautiful. The only issue we had was the dryer did not work which they did let us know before checking in. And they let us no they would send someone out the next day to fix it which they done. But the guy was unable to fix it because he did not have the proper parts to fix it so we had to go to a laundry mat to dry our clothes. Then on top of that they didn't have coffee in the room, or trash bags, or laundry detergent. We basically had to go and buy all of the amenities for our use while on vacation even though they tell you EVERYTHING is there which is a lie
We stayed at Smugglers Cove in Fort Myers Beach 4b6. Although the weather was absolutely beautiful it was during the COVID 19 epidemic. The owner John and the Vtrips reps helped us rebook for the next year. We actually spent two weeks at this condo and it was comfortable and clean. When we arrived we did have a few minor issues that were dealt with in a timely manor. Thank you John and Ken for all your help.

5142 Atlantic view Ave St Augustine Fl. % bed room for 1 week. House was very clean and the kitchen was very well stocked but the kitchen pantry was locked and 4 other doors was locked. There was no place to put grocerys for 10 people. With extra food there was no place to set plates to put the food on. The sandy trail to the beach was over grown and co; uld not be used. After three days of complaints the cleared it fofr use, but it could have been better.
