Australia provides plenty of opportunities for people planning career growth and development. The flexibility in the working environment and the exceptional lifestyle of Aussies sets the best example for immigrants across the world.
Check your eligibility
When planning to relocate to Australia to work and settle, the first thing is to check the eligibility to apply for a visa to enter the nation.
This helps to evaluate the eligibility criteria. But this stage is crucial and the candidate needs to gather much information which is a challenging task. In order to minimize all these, Y-Axis has introduced an Australia Skilled Immigration Points Calculator to check the eligibility score for free.
Step 1: Accreditation
The accreditation differs for each occupation type. It considers job role, educational qualifications, and work experience. But these should meet the Australian standards.
After meeting the standards, the candidate will receive a letter of accreditation. Their decision will be sent within 2 to 3 months.
Step 2: Language proficiency
The candidate needs to score a minimum of 6 points out of 9 in the IELTS exam for four skills:
• Speaking
• Reading
• Writing and
• Listening
Step 3: EOI and ITA
After meeting all the eligibility criteria, the candidate needs to register an Expression of Interest (EOI). Later they need to apply for the visa via SkillSelect. But to apply for a skilled visa, the Australian government needs to invite the candidate. This can be done if the candidate registers the Expression of Interest under the SkillSelect.
Step 4: Apply for the Nomination of a State Government
If the applicants' occupation is in demand in a particular state, then the candidate can apply for the nomination of a State Government. These nomination results will be declared within 1 to 4 weeks of application.
Step 5: Online Visa Application
The visa application includes certified copies of professional work experience documents,
Your application must include certified copies of your professional and work experience documents, certified translations, and other formal documents.
Step 6: Medical Reports and Police Verification
