I'm surprised to see bad reviews about zavvi. I have ordered games many times and always received them within a few days, never had any problem. I live close to england where I think this company is founded. The games are about 25%-50% cheaper than in my country (netherlands), even the brand new ones.
These guys must make most of their money on the delivery fees because the delivery takes twice as long as they estimate yet they charge like they've hired a private jet to hand it to you

Take your money and never deliver! Always give the same response that they're chasing your delivery - they don't! Disgusting behaviour and company should be avoided at all cost! If I could give them zero stars I would!

Pretty sure they're a scam company that pays for bot reviews to some extent. They also pad their reviews by sending review request immediately after purchase to trick low minds into being like "great products for cheap prices, so excited" but never actually receiving the product and being to low mind to fix review. They told me after 3 weeks to wait to days and that they were just waiting on the shipping company to pick it up. One week later, I message them and they say they are waiting for supplier to get it in stock. Tries to back pedal saying from the beginning they knew the shipment was not available and were just gonna have me wait until I hopefully forgot. Save your money, spend a bit more to actually get the item you want. Low prices are a hook to steal with.

I ordered some models from Zavvi as part of a random bundle. I realized it was possible that there may be duplicates, so when I got one I accepted this as part of the bundle's low cost. But when I opened one up it was clearly broken right out of the box, it fell apart immediately. It was obvious that it was broken and Zavvi had repackaged it without even bothering to glue it back together. Can't believe the nerve that would take!
So I contacted them expecting to be offered a partial refund, 'cause like, this bundle was $16. I figured getting maybe $4 back would be okay. Nah, they wanted me to ship it back at my own expense. Would literally cost more than what I paid.
Zavvi, I hope you realize you're all a disappointment to your mothers.
I can't believe I was such an idiot that I purchased from this place don't they realize that the majority of the purchases go for children and it do do not complete the order that means you're going to miss the birthday or the gifted is being sent to the child because of their mistake my son didn't get a gift on his birthday they charged me but it took more than a month for the purchase to even be arrive

I have been waiting 1 month for a refund for a product that I cancelled after it took too long to ship. The customer service agent has not even been reading my messages - just responds that will be shipped soon.
Do not purchase anything from them this a stay away company. I ordered a DVD collection from them and they refused to help when one of the disks played but the others did not because it's a region-b player. Instead of trying to work with me at all they gave me an extremely dismissive answer
Ordered a number of items that said they were in stock and paid next day delivery.still not received items and unable to speak or "live chat" with anyone at Zavvi. Still unable to either cancel order and get a refund so having to go through bank to try and stop payment.

After thinking about it, what can one expect from a company that has gone into liquidation at least 4 times..(only found this out after ordering)
I've been ordering from Zavvi for several years and was completely satisfied until I had to return a damaged product.
I'm currently going on week two of going back and forth between 4 employees trying to figure out how to return the item for a replacement. It's like they have never handled a simple return before. As of today, there have been 11 messages sent between us trying to figure out something this simple. As others have stated, when you respond to a message, it takes Zavvi at least 24-48 hours or longer for them to respond. Every time I get a response, it's from a different employee often with conflicting information. I advise folks to just stay away. Where other companies would have solved this in one emailed response and a prepaid return label, Zavvi makes you run an obstacle course. However this works out, they already lost a good customer.
Ordered an electric scooter as a Christmas gift for my granddaughter. On opening it she found that it did not work. We reported the issue and initially they responded saying they would arrange a replacement, then when chased as we have heard nothing….they now respond by saying that because it was ordered 40 days ago, they will not replace or refund. Totally disgusted with this company, the goods are clearly faulty because the scooter dies not work….so surely must be covered under UK law as faulty and replaceable……but this firm don't give a damn about a disappointed child at Christmas, they have had their money and not now bothered. My advice to anyone thinking of using Zavvi, is don't…..
Ordered 3 items last week and they should be here by now but haven't shipped yet. They took their money fast enough though.
Emailed to cancel the order and still no response after 3 days.
They seem to have plenty of time to tweet and market, but not provide their basic services for customers.

Zavvi use another rating based site and ask you to review your recent purchase but then for anyone who leaves one star feedback they remove it stating it goes against the t&cs as you can only review service. Even when service was mentioned they remove it to boost their scores. Shocking. Z Box quality is now terrible, when you complain you get fobbed off, trying to return boxes is complicated and costly. No real means of getting in touch with company. Terrible. Avoid.
In Nov 2021 I pre ordered 3 funko pops.
I requested a update in Jan 2022 and was told they will be in stock soon.
May 2022 and no word, so I used online chat and it was confirmed they over sold pre orders. They had no idea when stock would or if sent.
I asked for those to be cancelled and refunded.
It's now Aug 2022 and I'm still fighting for my refund, they keep saying its being taken care of but nothing received so I've made a complaint to trading standards offices in Bristol.
I'm still going back and forth, I've been asked for my evidence multiple times. I just get excuses each time from another CS handler.

Poor experience. Dispatch of a gift was overdue by several days. Tried to cancel since order had not yet been dispatched... instead several unhelpful advisers have suggested I wait for it to be dispatched, delivered and then return and wait for a refund.
Since items were still sat in a warehouse and cancellation policy states an ability to cancel within 14 days this is entire rubbish.
I'll never order from this company again and will recommend that family / friends / business stays well clear.
zavvi.com Sent a copy of Finding Dory that doesn't play in American DVD players. After trying the DVD in several players they would not allow us to return because it was now opened.
Kids are heartbroken about their useless Christmas present thanks to Zavvi.com Sent several requests for a return but was rejected by auto reply. They didn't even bother to personally respond to this issue.
Please shop on Amazon or any other site that stands behind their products.
Its been over a month of me trying to get a simple refund for some funko pops they sent me that were completely crushed and worthless by the time i got them they are not taking any responsibility they just keep sending messages to send them pictures i've already done that multiple times still no solution im out of over $80

Ordered two items - both promised way before Christmas. Neither one will make it - not even close. The first item has been held hostage in Cincinnati for so far 5 days, and the second item was just shipped - and the tracking says it won't make it either. What a huge disaster, as I was counting on these presents.
I paid about $10 extra for a shipment to have tracking with an estimated delivery between 5-8 business days. They shipped the package via regular courier with delivery estimated between 10-14 days. When I asked for a refund on my shipping purchases, I received zero compensation and was told that "I tend to find as well that parcels are delivered in around 1 to 2 weeks although the figure on the site should be more accurate."
Should have done some research first.
Customer service is horrible. Everytime they are messing things up, it's customers job to take care and make it right. Got faulty product (again), got information that it would be replaced but never got the replacement disc. Now they are asking me to ship the box back to get a refund…after waiting for months…
Awful company. Marketing emails sent make no sense and are written badly. The people know nothing about films or the products they are selling. The social media people, especially those on twitter, ended up blocking me for calling them out on something. Use Amazon.

Ordered 12 Blu-ray during the Black Friday sale. 3 days later I'm told my order is cancelled.
After a quick email to figure out the issue, I'm told not to worry. The items have been sent and they will arrive in no later than 10 days.
Keep in mind I was told 3, now 10.
Fine.
12 days later, nothing.
I email customer service with my issue, the response is "I cannot cancel my order".
Really? So I send a now nasty email because my account says the order has been cancelled, my payment has been taken and customer service says it's shipped.
I get a response only AFTER I leave a review like this one on a business review site which assures me then my orders will be delivered within 30 days. That's 3 days, 10 days and now 30 days.
No tracking by the way. All good faith.
These people are mandated to ignore you. I'm going to contact their suppliers to inform of how their products are being used to lure payment scams.

So poor, they dangle items in front of you, take orders, make all sorts of promises, but take WEEKS to deliver goods, if they deliver at all. Last order of mine made on Sept. 5th, still not received a month later.
And when I say last order, I MEAN last order.
Customer support is just full of auto-responses and meaningless platitudes that really just translate as 'we'll send it when we send it'.
Embarrassingly poor for a company trading in a global, online, Amazon Prime-led marketplace.
Strongly recommend people to not waste their time and effort, just to be disappointed.
Bought an item from the website yet its due date came and went and was fobbed off. Eventually, they decided to tell me they did not have the product and cancelled my order. Tried to understand why this was allowed to happen, terrible customer service. I then left a negative review of them on Trustpilot and of course they reported it for breach of guidelines. Luckily, Trustpilot agreed with me.
