on 8/17/16Someone said you can't get a refund even if they send you the wrong item. This is definitely not true in my experience. I have a love-hate relationship with Zulily. The "hate" part is actually directed at me... when I order something I'm not SURE of. They very clearly say: NO returns and they mean it. I don't think they have any way to process returns based on their business model. But there have been 3 occasions when either they've sent me the wrong item or the size was off (toddler slippers were about 6" long!). For those slippers, they apologized and said to donate them and sent my money back. The other 2 were toys... they allowed me to keep what they sent and then sent me the correct item. Can't complain about that.
But I now order only brands/sizes I'm sure of... not a shirt that looks cute on the model but had huge sleeves that made me look like a flying bat!
Yes you may return but make sure you get a return slip with the mailing strip. Everything must have the original labels or whatever it came with. They do give store credit. Yes some items run small but you learn those labels. Not every label is not what their charts say, that what I have used and 2 out of ten are small.
It states on each page where you order that they don't allow refunds. As you know sizes vary from brand to brand so your best bet is to order things from brands you know. I did order something that was one size fits all, and it was huge, but since it was cheap, no big loss.
Maybe my experience was abnormal, but I will never ever buy from them again. Received the wrong item, had to contact customer service 3 times, was promised store credit and a refund but actually got neither after sending their item back as instructed. Apparently, some have had good experiences, but as for me... nope.
Yes, they will give you store credit so you have to buy more $#*!ty stuff
They suck. You can try to make a case - say you are not happy with the quality and the clothes are not as represented. But be patient and keep pushing... there's no quick way to return.
You are correct. You are unable to return an item, however, most often if you call and talk to their customer service they will either give you a credit or refund you.
I was looking at some outfits for my granddaughter. I had several outfits saved and since this was my very first purchase from Zulily, I decided that I'd order just 1 outfit and be sure the size was accurate before ordering the other additional items. I ordered it and immediately decided to take a screen shot of the outfit to get my daughter's opinion. She is very picky with they style she dresses my granddaughter in so I cancled it. It was just a quick after thought and as I hit place order and immediately went back and cancled. It quickly stated order was cancled. The next, today I saw they charged my account. I emailed them and they have yet to contact me.
You can get a refund, have bought some stuffs for my son, they are wrong size, called the customer service and they make the refunds as a store credit. All that i have purchased from zulily are good stuffs. I will keep shoping with them because they have unique stuffs,
I have not returned anything to the since I purchased; I cannot say what thats like.
You can exchange if they have your item in stock and you can return items but if they do not have the same exact item you can not get a refund. They want you to order something else. NO REFUNDS.
My problem was I ordered a fire pot with a stand... I got the stand but they canceled the fire pot. They would not let me return the stand. I asked what am I supposed to do with the metal stand. I was told to give it away as a gift? Or donate it? It was a useless stand without the firepot. I had been a customer a very long time. Haven't ordered since!
Zuiliy's explaintion: Vendors guarantee their lowest price on the condition there will be NO returns. Exceptions can be recalls-safety or limited items delivered ruined beyond repair
Zulily states "they will try and work w you if you are unhappy" but yes, there are no returns. I have ordered things a size larger but they were still too small. I either sell them on my local swap web page or I donate and get a tax credit. If they make a mistake, they will refund you. Zulily is a big risk. I stopped buying clothing and stick w things like toys and housewares. Just remember, a lot of their stuff you can find at TJ Max and Marshalls! And Google it first, sometimes the same item is the same price on Amazon and you do have the option to return it on that site.
You can return them. You will get credit for you returned items. They don't give your money back. They give you credit for merchandise that's sold on their site. Buy at your own risk.
Sometimes they bend this rule - but rarely. I stopped shopping at this site
To be honest I have never had a problem with an item. I always make sure that I look at the size chart. If am not sure, I will order a size up. But, I wouldn't hesitate to call and see what my options are if I were to be unsatisfied for any reason. If you bought $150 worth, then you deserve to be happy with it. Give them a call and be very specific about why you are unhappy. I am sure they will work with you.
I've been refunded for plenty of items from clothing to handbags all Zulily asks is you take pictures and email them proof that bag or clothing is not correct and they issue a refund and since they're the middle man, they don't even want you to return the purchased item. The only time I've ever had to return one item from hundreds of refunds from Zulily was a Timbuk2 messenger bag.
When I called about two shirts in my order that were clearly not what they were supposed to be, they immediately told me to donate them to a charity. And they refunded the cost to my credit card. However, I am very leery about buying from them.
It depends on what the company in question has on their website. There are some companies that do not accept returns, others accept returns but you may have to pay the postage to return it and most companies will not accept exchanges, only returns and other companies policies are not clear on anything.
I have stated in a previous post to read what it says on the website return /exchange policies before ordering so won't be stuck with items you do not want.
My suggestion if you absolutely want to try ordering online, is start ordering things with a smaller dollar amount (like say... under 50$ maybe?).
Good luck!
You should call and talk to a customer service representative or do a live online chat. They may be able to return some of your items. I have had good luck with them resolving issues in the past. The policy does state no returns so you may be stuck with some items,
I agree with Dorothy, buy one or two items at a time. When I order for my children I always order a size bigger, but I only order shoes, clothing is to tricky. Just use your head
Check where your items are coming g from(China everything is two sizes too small)On the other hand don't be nervous about buying anything from Zulily, the customer service is great. I once bought a pair of shoes for my daughter they were too small. Zulilly let me keep them and they credited me.Ive been along time customer.
They state that no items of clothing can be returned. They order their apparel from a third party. I don't think they pay attention to the size you requested. Never use Zulily. Try Amazon you can return anything and they sell almost anything. One tip that might work is keep emailing and calling and complain about their return policy. It worked for our daughter but even they they strictly told her that this would only happen once. She stopped ordering from them.
Yes that's correct.
If you paid by pay pal you will get your money back.
Escalate a complaint.
My friend ordered shoes which have caused her 6 yr old sons feet to blister on the soles of his feet.
They look like their burnt.
Unfortunately she's paid by debit card.
I would stay well clear
If I am ordering a brand I have NOT ordered before, I always grab a screen shot of the size chart for that brand. Then if you get the item and measure it and it doesn't measure what the chart says, you let them know. They have always just credited my PP account and said donate the item. I think if they were just a bit more careful with vendor expectations there would be a lot less issues.
They have a no return policy. Even if they send you the wrong item
That's their policy. But they want happy customers. Call them politely and ask if you can return. In my experience, if it is an expensive item, like a leather handbag, they have let me return. If say $20 or under, they say donate it and refunded my money or given me a store credit. If damaged or poor quality, they have in addition tacked on a $5-10 Zulily credit for the trouble. Call them and see what they will do for you.
You're right! They won't let you exchange or return. When I wanted to exchange some items that I bought, I was told to keep them, but they credited my account in the amount that I paid. So I guess you don't actually take a loss? The whole store is generally a headache tho. Some of the items are so cute you just don't want to pass them up, but I won't be bothering with them again.
I cant answer but dont bother with this site youd probably end up paying to return them this site is made in china ill fitting clothes i have unsubscribed from them i wouldnt even bother returning probably wait for years for a refund dont bother with them
That's correct. After attempting to return or at least exchange via their "customer service" I never got a reply or explanation. I have at least that much invested. It's hanging in my closet but I will donate to Goodwill when I clean out my closet.
Sometimes if you complain or go to the better business bureau they will let you return them.
In my experience, they clearly state whether an item is eligible for returns. As to sizing, there is no one-size-fits-all (pun intentional) sizing rule. Zulily carries a variety of brands and usually offers a helpful "these fit small/large so we recommend ordering one size up/down". I order from them a couple of times a month and they are hitting about a 99% in terms of meeting promises and expectations.
