on 10/29/15Got money to burn? Order from Zulily. There isn't enough room on the Internet to list all the reasons you should NOT order from them!
If you have money to throw away... order from Zulily!
I also did not have a positive experience with them either. Like I tell my friends stay away from this site, unless you are purchasing baby's clothing and I am still leary of even doing that. I am no longer a member and would not recommend them.
Exactly... in laymen's terms. Zulily sucks! Thats sums it up!
It's totally a mystery to what you'll get! Quality is awful and then no returns!
I found on Zulily an item priced at $35 that was the identical item Amazon had for $65. Knowing that the item may not fit and was unreturnable plus Zulily's shipping charges are not cheap, i still chose to go with Amazon. My Amazon Prime Smile account gives me free and FAST shipping, free returns if necessary plus donates. 5% to the charity of my choice.
Terrible - I don't know how they are still in business. The clothes they use on their ads to entice you to buy can't be found on the site, if you do order something it might or might not be what you ordered, you might get it in 6 months... or not, the quality - usually hand made by chimps. Awful. And with all of these negative comments they obviously don't give a rats butt.
I agree with BJ H, save your money and order from a reputable company.
I ordered two tops which took three weeks to ship. One top was too small, the other had white spots where the dye didn't take and that's when I found out about the 'no returns' policy.
I am so disgusted with Zulily. Placed my first and last order with them about a month ago... after waiting about a month for the items to arrive, my 2 pairs of skirted leggings that I paid $55.00 for were the most ridiculous things upon arrival. I ordered them in size medium and they MUST be at least 2X or 3X. They Are so large that they won't even stay up on me, the leggings are super baggy, not even remotely snug, and they are very long. I CHECKED THE SIZE CHART BEFORE ORDERING THESE. The size chart said a medium size is appropriate for a size 8 woman. I actually thought they may be a bit small on me because I just had a baby a few months ago and am more of a size 12 or 14 with the baby weight - and these are still HUGE on me - so much so that it would be comical... except that there isn't anything funny about consumer fraud. These are nothing like what the model is wearing in the photo and conveniently have no size posted anywhere in the garment.
Dealing with trying to get a refund has also been a very, very negative experience. In a nutshell, they are not going to refund my money but will give a store credit minus $8.95 shipping to send the clown pants back and a $3.00 processing fee for all their trouble in trying to defraud me. What am I going to do with a store credit now that I am never, ever going to shop with them again? EVEN if I do use the store credit, I will be out about $30.00 total after I pay for shipping three times and their return processing fee. I feel robbed - because I was.
Then they shouldn't distribute those brands. Mine was a known brand--I bought 8 pairs of pjs and I bought the next size up, just in case, since they said unreturnable. They were ALL too small and they were poor quality. That IS the fault of the distributor. I explained the situation and asked for a return of the unopened packages--not the two I checked--and their response was, "You can buy more sizes!" That is clearly not responsible "distributing." Just MY opinion. I would suggest NOT buying from them.
We have all apparently been spoiled by other online vendors to expect our orders within several days. It was a shock to me that I had to wait 5 weeks for an item to arrive.
The policy is YOU pay for the returns. Can be very expensive
People who want goods quickly should not shop with Zulily --- nor should people who don't agree with their stated policy on returns. For me the prices cancel out any inconvenience. Zulily is the only online store i shop from regularly. Marian
My recent dealings were frought with incorrect sizing, garments from catalogue didn't exactly match what I'd ordered but in their defence, I received an apology, money and delivery fees credited back into my account with a note suggesting to give items away to those who are needy which is what I've done. Unfortunately it was a lesson to me not ever to do online clothes shopping of any kind. Cheers S K Steedman Australia
Yes! Sizes and quality is VERY inconsistent. Money down the tube if it doesn't work. I would only order little kids clothes on the site!
What I bought from Zulilly was well made and the correct size but it took FOREVER to get to me. I liked everything I bought and everything fit so either I was lucky or I'm a good online shopper. I ordered Western boots, which are awesome, a sports bra which fits fantastically and is very comfortable, and a black shirt which is the eh part of the order. I wear it but its a bit large. Just know that your order will take a l-o-n-g time to get to you and it may not be what you think it will be. It's a gamble so good luck.
FROM the comments,. It doesn't appear that your dissatisfaction is directed in the correct place. ZULILY IS A DISTRIBUTOR! If you are dissatisfied. With quality, sizing, return policy, etc. THOSE ISSUES ARE THE MANUFACTURER YOU CHOSE WHEN YOU PICKED OUT the ITEM they show Their Size Chart, return policy, etc.)...
UNLESS YOU CHOSE AN ITEM THAT SAYS "MADE FOR Zulily". ALSO, STATES SIZE CHART, RETURN POLICY AND why. HAVE YOU HAD ISSUES WITH NAME BRANDS OR IS IT MAINLY ITEMS that you would see marked down at the mall for example, like a tee shirt priced at $ 29.99, marked to $17.95 then more off of that... remember Unfamiliar brands, may not be everyones cup of tea. JUST MY OPINION.
