There are tons of answers about this posted here, but Zulily is basically it's a company that matches manufacturers with buyers. Because there are so many different manufacturers, some items are great, some aren't. Sometimes they ship quickly, sometimes not. But if you're careful, you can get some great deals.

Some of the things I do to mitigate problems with Zulily? I buy things I've tried on in the store (shoes are a perfect example). You can get them a LOT cheaper on Zulily. Otherwise, I look around on the web for reviews and sizing for manufacturers I haven't purchased from before. And if an item is really, really cheap? Just know that it probably won't be great quality. Which may be fine if you're paying $10 for a shirt and wearing it 6 times, right?

Most items can be returned now (it wasn't always that way), but you don't get a full refund. Again, Zulily doesn't stock these items, so they have to send them back to the manufacturer. I just figure it's part of the deal - you pay a lot less, but it isn't like a full-service retailer by any means.

Good luck!

I believe that people leave bad reviews because their expectations are higher than they should be. Zulily sells inexpensive online items so of course the quality may not be what the buyer imagined. That is a risk we take when buying anything online that you can't feel or try-on,

In my opinion if you order something for $10 and wear it for a month (just an example) that I have gotten my money's worth. Zulily can be a quick and easy way to update your wardrobe with inexpensive fun items. I would not count on it as a fashion staple like your go to suit or little black dress.
