I had ordered a Seresto flea collar and had asked that it be shipped regular USPS 2 to four day shipping. The post office made a mistake (no fault of Pet Meds) and it was somewhere in Illinois after 5 days (I live in FLorida). I explained that the fleas were getting bad and Pet Meds shipped me another collar overnight at no charge and asked that if the original order comes, just write return to sender on the package, and send it back. They have amazing customer service! There was a human that answered the phone, she was intelligent, courteous, and went beyond what I expected in customer service. I will only use them from now on. (By the way, the price was excellent compared to other mail order companies too. I checked).
Amazed to see good reviews,for that was not my experience. First,they dragged their feet calling my vet to fill an order for pain meds my dog desperately needed. Took almost 2 weeks to get order. You would think these geniuses would have then USED COMMON SENSE to push autofill back but instead wanted to send order out at the designated date still, which obviously wasn't needed for 2 weeks. Another inconvenience having to reconnect them Wouldn't recommend this crap company to anyone.
I ordered my dog's meds and even ordered the overnight shipping so he would get them in plenty of time. After a week I contacted them to find out where my order was and they said my vet needed to speak with me before authorizing the meds, except they never conveyed this message to me. So my dog is out of his necessary meds and they never offered to try and fix this or contact the vet or try to expedite my order. Do not use this company.
I recently order Heartguard for the first time from 1800petmeds on 06/08/17. This medication requires a prescription from my dogs veterinarian. I received an e-mail on 06/10/17 which provided an update on my shipment status. In this e-mail I was informed that they were still waiting for a reply from my veterinarian. A couple of hours later I received an e-mail stating the prescription was received and my order had been shipped. I received the medication on 06/12/17. I will definitely use this company again, and I would recommend 1800petmeds to others. Not only do they have great discounts but they also did a great job getting the medication to me.

I ordered Nexgard online and called my vet to fax over the prescription. A week later I did not have my meds so I called them again and they said they never received the fax. I called my vet and had them fax it again and Pet Meds said that they were going to overnight it to me once they got the fax. Another week goes by, still no meds. They again say that they never received the fax when I know for a fact that the fax went through. It's been 3 weeks. Now they say they are calling my vet and will overnight it. Really 3 phone calls to get meds that I can get through Walmart or my vet? The idea that I needed to make 3 phone calls and they have no follow-up is so unprofessional. Your dog could be dead by the time you receive meds! Don't waste your time. It's not even much cheaper.
I had not ordered in about 10 years. I placed a recent order and did not realize I had not updated my address. They shipped to my old address. I figured I was out my money and would have to reorder and wait additional time to get my dog her medicine. Judy the attendant on the chat was so helpful. She updated my address, resent the medication to me and was even concerned with when I needed them with out any prompting. Because my dog was out of the medication she said she would send express priority to me.

We had our pets medication on automatic delivery. We received a new bank card, so our order failed to process. The phone calls began and would not stop. I put them on our phones call block so it would only ring once. The phone calls continued. I cancelled the orders. I contacted customer support. They closed my account. The phone calls continued. I tried adding the number to Verizons Call Block list. It is an invalid entry. The phone calls continued. Every 2 minutes and the phone rings once as its on my phone systems call block. I will NEVER order anything from this company again. I am reporting them to the BBB.
I am a returning customer who buys mostly insulin supplies for my cat Blink. I recently misjudged how much insulin I had left and had to re-order in a hurry so Blink wouldn't have to miss a shot. After placing my order, I wrote an email to 1800PetMeds and expressed my concern that the order be approved by my vet and get here as quickly as possible. They wrote back within minutes and assured me that they had already contacted my vet and the order was being processed. Less than two hours later my order was processing for shipment, and I received it early the next day. Great response time and turnaround, thank you!

I will never use petmeds again. It's better to use your local Sam's Club or Costco for your pet's meds. I had nothing but issues using petmeds. I notified three times of the autoship not sending medication on time. Then I have to scrabble and get pills from the vet. One time the auto ship didn't ship at all. All I get is a I'm sorry, or a $10 credit. They don't give a sh*t or fix sh*t I'm done!
I purchased 2 boxes of Heartgard plus from them, and whoever processed the order should be given another job, here is what they did, they placed their 1800petmeds sticker over top of the information card on the back of box where you write the dates you administer the medication, making it useless, when I called, I was told they were sorry, but there is nothing they can do, like that is supposed to make he happy, my suggestion is to pay more attention to your job and less to incoming text messages and you probably wont make the mistake to begin with

Ordered dog items dec. 2 was told two different times items would ship mod. Dec. 5 they didn't was told today items would ship today they didn't, was told today items were out of stock and they would ship remainder tomorrow, cancelled order.

I placed an order for medication for my dog. This medication has stock issues due to COVID19 I'm guessing. It always on back order. Instead of waiting for my vet to approve prescription, they let another customer take the order. At best they may have had to wait 1 more day. Whatever. I get it. All about the money, not the user. I wouldn't be upset IF they'd have some notification that the order wasn't filled, especially since THEY are out. I looked 3 days later and not sent. I called and they said "sorry." That is not good enough. Let people know sooner. Bad business. What if I never looked? How long would've it been sitting there? Disappointed.
Hi Karrie. I'm very sorry for your experience. Unfortunately, this medication is on backorder from the manufacturer, and has been for quite some time. We do occasionally receive small shipments of this medication. Our records show that on 12/4/20 at 8:52 am we sent you an email notice that the product was expected to be out of stock until approximately 12/20, but sometimes our email notices get directed to "spam" folders. If you put your email address on the "Out of Stock" page you will be notified by email once the medication is back in stock.

Wish I could find my pets meds somewhere else. This place takes FOREVER to ship out - can't get an estimated time of ship or delivery. Second time I am having to go to the vet to get the meds because it takes them so long. I had autoship on but didn't work.
Pet Meds paid for the treatment of all 3 of my dogs n I now use advantage multi with no problem. They fax my vet n as long as I take my dogs every year for their vaccinations n heartworn tests my vet does ok the prescription. I never have to send them a prescription n they stand behind their products.

I just started using them a few months ago. My second prescription forr my cat was lost in the mail. It was not my fault, nor was it 1800PETMEDS' fault. (I have an unreliable, and I think dishonest weekend mailmail.) 1800PETMEDS overnighted a replacement prescription immediately. This policy does leave the company open for abuse by dishonest customers who are trying to get a free extra order, but for people like me who had a problem, it is excellent customer service. Service that is unfortunately becoming more and more rare these days.
I ordered some thyriod medication for my cat. I thought I'd give them a try because they had a deal for first time orders. I ordered 2 months of medication and would recieve 35% off and I planed on going on auto ship.
I recieved a 20 day supply and they kept the other 40 days worth and said they would send them out as refills! They were going to charge me $65 every 20 days! I spoke with the vet, he did not write the prescription for 20 days. They point blank lied to me and try to steal 60 from me every 20 days!. I work at a drs office and have to call in scripts all the time. I guess they weren't counting on that. Please be careful if you plan on doing business with this company.

I order flea & tick RX for my dog. I ordered it on Friday afternoon. Order was sent immediately to my Vet. My Vet responded right away on Saturday morning and okayed the Rx. It was mailed out on Saturday and I received it in the mail today (Monday). Can't get much faster than that. The whole process went very smooth. 1800PetMeds is really on the ball and got it mailed out in super fast time. I highly recommend them. I will definitely use them again. Thank you 1800Pet Meds!

Quite a few not so good ratings. I was reluctant somewhat to order, but wanted to give them a try and see for myself. I couldn't be happier. Ordering was easy, they contacted my Vet for okay to give to my dog and it was shipped out right away. This was SIMPARICA 6PK 5.6-11.0 LBS CHEW, so I was not in a super hurry for it. I won't need it for probably another month, but I wanted to have it when the warm weather arrives. Very pleased with the whole process.

Ordered flea meds from them when I was in a terrible situation with my little Chi. His topical meds stopped working way before I could reapply and he was getting fleas. My vet told me I could safely use a chewable, so I ordered Nexgard from PetMeds and paid the outrageous charge for overnight delivery. I was promised it would be delivered the next day. They said they received the prescription past their cutoff for the next day delivery, but assured me it would arrive by the next day. When I received the delivery confirmation from UPS, it said it wouldn't be delivered until four days later. Meanwhile, my dog is suffering with fleas and I had now paid for overnight delivery but receiving the meds within the regular 3-5 day free delivery window. This was my first time ordering from them and it will definitely be MY LAST TIME! They promise what they can't do...very unreliable!

This review is on AllVetmeds. Do no buy from these crooks. I ordered Percorten which is for Addisons disease, They charged me up front, (189.98) and I never received it. Many phone calls with just waiting on the line while no one answered. I e-mailed four times without an answer, finally someone did answer and said that I was going to be issued a refund, well that was just talk. I am still e-mailing them everyday about my money, and they still do not answer. THIS PLACE IS NO GOOD!

My home is about to be replumbed, I will be without water for three days so I won't be able to wash the cat food bowls. This 1800petmeds site shows TWO bowls and says "Durapet Dish & Durapet Bowl". (Notice the AND symbol, not -or-) I called just now and the guy assured me it was supposed to be 1 bowl. He said the photo is just showing the top and bottom, and told me I could order more... If I order again, it won't be from 1800PetMeds!
I ordered these same bowls before from another company it took a long time to get them, but I did get 2 of each set!

They never once contacted me to let me know they didn't have the product, the website didn't list it as backordered.

My dog, Lucky, thinks these Heartguard chewables are the best tasting chewables around! He is so picky and finicky with any medicines and no matter what you do, even using peanut butter, he won't eat it and will try to eat around it and what's left the... the medicine. Lol So, he loves this Heartguard chewables. What Lucky's Mama loves is PetMeds is a great company with excellent prices and Awesome Customer Service. I bought these tablets for my 8 month old Great Dane, Fenris. He is a handful and growing very fast. If you know much about Great Danes you know how fast they grow. As he is my 2nd Great Dane I am concerned with his joint health also. I purchased these tablets as a preventative for joint health problems. I do have to say that Fenris absolutely loves them. I have even used them as a once a day treat to teach him to shake and sit. He looks forward to them every day. When I shake that bottle he knows what time it is.
