I had ordered a Seresto flea collar and had asked that it be shipped regular USPS 2 to four day shipping. The post office made a mistake (no fault of Pet Meds) and it was somewhere in Illinois after 5 days (I live in FLorida). I explained that the fleas were getting bad and Pet Meds shipped me another collar overnight at no charge and asked that if the original order comes, just write return to sender on the package, and send it back. They have amazing customer service! There was a human that answered the phone, she was intelligent, courteous, and went beyond what I expected in customer service. I will only use them from now on. (By the way, the price was excellent compared to other mail order companies too. I checked).
Amazed to see good reviews,for that was not my experience. First,they dragged their feet calling my vet to fill an order for pain meds my dog desperately needed. Took almost 2 weeks to get order. You would think these geniuses would have then USED COMMON SENSE to push autofill back but instead wanted to send order out at the designated date still, which obviously wasn't needed for 2 weeks. Another inconvenience having to reconnect them Wouldn't recommend this crap company to anyone.
Although some of their prices could be a little cheaper, they do have good deals on some products and they are of great quality. I trust this company and they have excellent customer service.
Pet medication is always expensive at your local vet and it is worth checking out this place if you need expensive antibiotics for your pet. Their shipping is pretty fast and reliable too!
They are terrible. I spoke to two people telling me my heart meds for my dog wet out. They never sent and never called me to tell me they screwed up. Will never order from them again.

I called for an RX for Simparica and later received an email indicating that I needed to physically obtain the perscription from my VET. I called back and was informed that I could not upload the RX via email and had to send it by snail mail. After approximately 3 weeks, the prescription did not arrive so I made my third call where I learned that PetMeds canceled my order! When I complained, the staff member hung up mid sentence and did not call back even though they had my phone number. I will never do business with Petmeds again.

I ordered 2 presc medications for my dog on July 12,2022, which I received on July 18th. I had to put my dog down on July 22nd and hadn't started giving him the new medications yet. I called PetMeds on July 26th to ask if the medications could be returned for a refund and was told they would refund the entire amount of $84.19 and I didn't need to return the medications. The refund was credited to my credit card on August 2nd. Thank you so much! I had been buying these medications monthly since Nov 2021 and have nothing but good things to say about PetMeds. There was only 1 time when delivery was delayed and PetMeds paid for the 2 day shipping so I've receive the medications before leaving on a 2 week vacation.

This company cancelled my orders and accused my of having multiple accounts with them. I just recently got my first pet in my entire life (a dog for my daughter) and just signed up for a PetMeds account in the last week. I placed two orders over the first week and went to place a third order. I called in to inquire about the order shipment and was told my account was frozen. I was transferred over to a supervisor, who would only name himself as "Jack", and he told me that I could not do business with him anymore and that I had multiple accounts. I asked how I have multiple accounts and wondered if someone had stolen my identity or something like that. I asked for details, but Jack would not give any details about the accounts that he said were mine, but that are not mine. I'm not sure how he could attribute an account to mine when I had never used the 1800 pet meds website before in my life. He simply stated that I would have to file a subpeona to receive any information about my account.

I am unsure if they are involved in identity theft, since they continually stated that I have multiple accounts, yet wouldn't provide any information regarding this. I assume that they are somehow covering up their activities.
I ordered dog treats about 4 months ago. They said they were backordered. Today they canceled my order without an explaination. It is odd that other places had them in stock.
I ordered Proin Tablets for my dog and was informed that I needed to send in an original prescription, I then went to my Vet and retrieved the Script since for some reason they couldn't fax it, then I waited a week and was told they still haven't received it. I emailed the following day and was told that they want me to give the mail 10 days, so I guess they are in a part of Florida that has very slow mail service, but even then they won't be able to fulfill my order since they "just ran out of Proin and won't be getting any in till March 20th" it is now Feb 23rd so now I have to go back to my Vet and purchase from them as I should have done to begin with. I'm not sure why it Would take a month for them to receive their supply ofa common supplement for dogs but I'm guessing it's got to do with where it's coming from (China maybe?)
DO NOT BUY HERE, I repeat, DO NOT BUY HERE, be prepared to wait for weeks for your stuff that is always "preparing for shipment" have the money withdrawn in a sec but will take forever to give it back when they don't give you the product. This business is a shtshow.
Proceed with caution! Ordered box-packaged bottle of Vetmedin 1.25 mg chewable pill, 50 count. Bottle was not in box as pictured, was rolling around in delivery box plus bottle was not sealed meaning it probably was hand-filled from a larger bottle or even a returned bottle so don't know what real expiration is or if indeed it's the right pill although it looks the same as prescription from vet. Needed quickly so paid extra $19.99 shipping on order placed early Friday for overnight delivery. Had to call with a question and when said had paid for next day delivery found out I missed that overnight was next business day so wouldn't receive order till Monday. But, she said she could change that for Saturday delivery and would resend it and to just write Return To Sender on package already sent out for Monday delivery. I really appreciated that but still didn't understand why it couldn't have been done to begin with. I did get package today (Saturday) but am now somewhat leery that it's the right med and how old it it. Tracking texts for delivery status was good. I'd think twice about ordering from this particular site just because product was not sealed or in correct packaging. I would also recommend reading reviews before ordering.

Not packaged in box as pictured in products, was loose in shipping box and bottle itself was not sealed leading me to believe bottle was filled by hand with pills of questionable age. (I have gotten this prescription before from vet and bottle was in box and sealed.) I paid a premium for next day delivery but in calling with question found out next day falling on a Saturday means Monday. Agent easily changed it to be delivered on Saturday after confusing explanation. Would not recommend site.

Ordered on 6th pain meds and Temeral-p for my 10.5 lp sick 13yo Yorkie. Cmb on 10th for Diff cc, gave. No other questions. Waiting, 14th s/b getting today by uspo. Finally. But his Tramadol said "UPDATE" when I CKD on their site (they separated the 2 orders?) I said NO, NO, NO. I CALLED AND... YES YES YES YES. It wasn't shipped. I ordered Proin for my dog on 11/25/20. AFter waiting over 2 weeks and no update email I logged onto my account to check status of order. Waiting for customer approval. I questioned what are you waiting for, my vet already approved 180ct. The response was that my vet only approved 60ct. I called my vet. They approved the original 180ct. I call your customer service again to question why my order hasnt shipped. Now you tell me order wont ship until I get bloodwork for my dog. What? I called my vet again. My vet never requested bloodwork they approved the 180ct Proin and are confused why they keep trying to blame the vet. Again, I call customer service and the rep was argumentative with me. She needed the vet to sign off on the proin in order for the shipment to take place. At this point I told her to cancel my order and I would never order from 1800 pet meds again. Thanks to them, almost 4 weeks have gone by and now I'm out of my dogs medicine due to their incompetance. I never ordered from you before and will tell anyone listening to use Heartland or KV Supply or Chewy.
I set up autoship with PetMed to insure that my pet's medication would arrive in a timely manner. This worked for 2 months, but the third autoship was a total failure. I received an e-mail on 1/2 that meds will ship on 1/6. On 1/5, I received an order confirmation saying that tracking information will be sent once the order has shipped. Now it's 1/14, no tracking info has been sent and my pet's medication is running low. I call customer service. The customer service rep is very pleasant and apologetic. He checks to see what the hold up is and informs me that the medication is out of stock and not expected to be back in stock until 2/3. The rep says he can forward my perscription to a pharmacy of my choice, but unfortnately that remedy won't work because retail pharmacy's don't carry the medication in perscribed amount for my dog. I appreciated the rep's helpfulness, but am totally annoyed with PetMed the company as they should have informed me earleir that the medication was out of stock. If they had, I could have worked with my vet to get it somewhere else. Now I'm stuck and most likely my dog will be out of medication for at least a week or more. I canceled my order and autoship service. Will not buy from PetMed again. Very disappointing!
This site makes getting my dogs flea medicine very easy. I don't even have to leave the house. I place the order and its delivered to my door.

Due to pharmacy regulations, from the consumer we must have the original prescription. Unfortunately, Proin is on backorder from the manufacturer.
