I purchased headlights and subsequently had another vehicle write mine off before I could even put the new headlights in. I asked if I could return them for refund and only then had the company made me aware of a 35% restocking fee (I don't know if it was by mistake but they charged me a 30% fee when all was said and done. The fee was not expressed to me upon checkout etc. So with the price of shipping to return the item and there outrageous restocking fee, I was out of pocket about $70 for a product I never got to use.

I had Googled Absolute HID reviews and was a bit hesitant seeing the rating on this site. I reached out to them on their chat to ask about fitment because I know most kits will not work with my Mercedes. Ivan was super helpful. I ordered the kit and it shipped to Alberta fast with tracking. I installed it today. It looks to be way better quality than the kits I've used on the past. Install was a little diy but easy enough. A+ Pic of one side installed.

I had a burnt out bulb after 11 months a replacement was sent out at my cost but under Warranty. The newer light (updated version) burnt out after 3 months... this is the response after I returned it at their request, my cost, for troubleshooting...
The results came in and the failure was due to heat exhaustion. The tech believes that maybe they are not getting enough air to cool the heat bands... we will absolutely not be refunding a kit that was purchased 15 months ago. Making a warranty claim does not somehow extend warranty coverage.
Further I submitted the same review on their website and they removed it I suspect they remove all unfavourable reviews... buyer beware...
Before I purchased the item, the owner assured me the product would work for my model / year of truck. They did not work. Customer service was not responsive so I return the item. Owner has refused / delayed to refund money - he's playing games and talking about restocking fees. Now Im out shipping costs and possibly restocking fees and will have to file a dispute with the credit card.
It would be so simple to just refund the money and I would have left it that. Maybe even bought something else from them... why do people do this?
Tip for consumers:
Dont trust them
I converted the headlights on my car o HID a few years back and one of the bulbs died recently. I paid over $120CAD for replacements from absolutehid.ca after chatting with sales and within seconds of receiving I could see that, in addition to looking g more like 4000k instead of the 5000k I ordered, they didn't work either. So I packed them back exactly as I found them. "Support" told me there was a 35% restocking fee plus shipping ($20). Might as well say all sales final. I'm not an expert so it would've been really nice if sales would have said something to the effect of, "try another bulb first in case it's the ballast".
BUYER BEWARE: If you buy from absolutehid.ca make sure you have done your research as you can expect zero support after the sale.

I gave them them the year and model and make of my vehicle and they sent me the wrong light. The person who got back to me was extremely rude about there mistake. Putting everything on me to correct it.

Received the incorrect mounting hardware. I was told via the phone that the assembly needed to be taken apart to use the provided clips... got one done only to find the clips were still incompatible with the light. The other one unfortunately, the wire pulled out of the connector.
When I asked if I could get the proper clips and a new connector...
This was the owners response:
Alan did not tell you to rip the spade connectors off the bulb.
Pulling the wiring through the grommet and pushing it back in is easy, requires no tools, and i've never seen anyone rip a h7 connector off in doing so.
As the kit has been damaged, a return is not and will not be possible. Even if i didn't believe this kit can be installed on your vehicle (it can), at this point we wouldn't accept a return.
Bulbs come $#*! assemblies, i can't sell you a connector or a wire as these parts are not available separately.
I found a spade connector repair kit on amazon for 10$ which appears to include the replacement connectors you need:
(Link to connector kit)
To be frank, i find it unlikely that someone who cant follow basic instructions will manage to correctly crimp new connectors on. I suggest you seek professional help in getting these installed, and perhaps have your other install looked at too.
I'm offended that you lied to me and told me you were being ignored by support. Although you included 0 of alan's replies in your email, its obvious he has been in constant communication with you for over a week.
I wish you good luck in getting this fixed, but i'm going to treat this matter as closed, and going to instruct alan to do the same.
