My ace hardware store looks like it's in a ghetto and been robbed, the front door window has been broken for weeks and they just put plywood up over. At their lumberyard is half outside which is not covered by tarps any longer and it rained the night before I had to get some lumber it was so wet I cannot touch it for 3 to 4 days until it dries out and hope to God it doesn't warp like a corkscrew, The new owners are trying to make it nice but in honesty it's gone downhill and looks like garbage the people are pretty inept faces changing almost on a daily basis this place is a cesspool, I can no longer buy lumber due to the fact I can't wait three days to start working what a joke

I ordered a gift online because I was in a neighboring town and it said curbside pickup today. I ordered. It is already on my credit card statement. Went to pick it up and the store had no idea of any order. They searched their system and said it is under review. I said it's on my statement already. They said large online purchases take up to 24hrs to review and process. It should not be guaranteed unless it can be completed. So disappointed. This was a birthday present for someone. Spent over $1000. Told them to cancel my purchase and I will find someone else to order through!

I ordered merchandise online for store pickup -- same day. No same day pickup (didn't find out until AFTER I placed and paid for my order). When I was informed my order was finally ready for pickup, I was short-changed. Several items I had paid for were not provided. The person at the pickup area told me I had to go into the store and talk with someone in customer service (this is outside pickup?). After no one could figure out what happened, the manager was called. He said what I ordered was not in stock, even though the inventory showed it in stock. He said he'd issue me an online refund for the items. I went to give him my credit card for doing this and he said it wasn't needed.
A week later, no refund. Ace Hardware customer service for online orders told me it's basically my problem to solve. I've now challenged this through my credit care. What AWFUL customer service.

Visited our local ACE Hardware store yesterday in Scottsville, KY. Needed a small can of paint mixed with Gray color. I asked about the mix at 11:15AM and was told that there are only (2) of us here and we don't know how to mix the paint.
Also the next guy coming in at 11:45 would be able to complete the task. He arrived late, had to clock in and finally received the mix at 12:10. Asked about some popcorn. Asked if it was fresh, the young lady said yes. It was not even close. She made some fresh.
Why on a Sunday with nice weather does ACE Hardware only has one person who can mix paint? I wasn't the only one waiting.
There use to be some great employee's working at this store.
We have enjoyed having this store in Scottsville. Hope that ACE stays and gets better employees.

I had my wife bring my lawnmower to ace hardware in tannersville on 611 in Pa. They told her it was no good and instead of coming to get it they'll discard it for her. She told them no, seeing it is my lawnmower. I found that odd, because I just brought it and used it once. I just left the gas in over the winter.so it was strange to me that a brand new mower was as they put it garbage. I went on YouTube to see how to kick over a mower with gas left in over the winter. The YouTuber explained what to do. So I got carb cleaner and sea foam, 10 pulls the mower worked I let it run for 10 minutes, then cut my lawn. Men don't send your wives to ace in tannersville on 611 in pa they'll tell her it's no good and tell her they'll discard it for her so it don't waste space in your garage, men don't go there because they'll try and steal your equipment. Their CROOKS! And real dishonest. I wish I could give 0 stars. I had to leave a deposit, only to pay them to try and steal my mower from my wife.

I am really disappointed at the manager's attitude in the warrensburg store, i went in with my mercedes key, he said yes he could cut keys with reverse cutting no problem.
However he didnt stock the blank or even get it. I asked if i got the blank would he use his machine and cut it for me?, he said yes he would. I spent $45 per blank key on ebay which was non refundable, i went to the warrensburg store once again and was told we dont cut customer blank keys as it may damage our machine.
I will not give business to them, will also tell everyone i know about this lovley experience.

Website said they had part that I needed, purchased online and told at the store within 10 minutes that part wasn't at store after all. Then they held the money from that purchase for 7 days. Absolutely unacceptable.

I like Ace hardware. They are expensive, but you get your money's worth most of the time and I like to support local businesses.
I have starlink, and when I go to the ace app, it thinks I'm in Los Angeles and it is impossible to change its mind that I'm actually in the desert in the middle of Arizona.
I would love to shop in wickenburg arizona, but you forced me to log into even shop at your $#*!ing store, what is wrong with you people;?

Don't shop here or work here. They are very very rude and unprofessional. They sit at the hub and laugh and make fun of other employees and customers. The two female managers are the worst. Do yourself a favor and go to Stringhams.

I ordered a shed online and as usual, it gave me an estimated delivery date for me to pick up at the store. About 4 days later, I received an email saying that my order had been cancelled. I called Ace Hardware to find out why it was canceled as the email didn't specify why. The customer service told me it was canceled because it was unavailable. I asked if it would be available if it was delivered to me, he said yes. I asked him to order it for me but he said no, I had to reorder online. I sent an email to Ace Hardware letting them know that they shouldn't advertise something if it wasn't available... that was 2-3 weeks ago, I have yet to hear anything from them. This had been frustrating as we had prepared for our outdoor shed and were very excited about it. I am NEVER going to order from Ace Hardware again! They should have tried everything to help me out and sell me what I wanted but obviously they don't need my business.

Went to Ace in Omaha Ne to buy a locking garbage can-that means it has a locking lid. First looked at Ace Hardware--found 20 gallon can but----they expect you to also buy the lid separately with added cost to you the consumer. This means the lid has another added price--they call the garbage cans "Refuse Cans"... that is how they justify charging for the can & for the lid.
At Tractor Supply I got the very same can & Lid for 1 price--the lid was included in their price for the 20 gallon can. I have posted 2 reviews of this can on the local Ace website & they WILL NOT post it on their reviews.

Had a toilet running issue with a self-installed Korky water siphon after approximately 18 months.
Found the Korky.com website and sent email to support for guidance. Shockingly I received a follow up the very next day with a detailed description. However, by fiddling with he unit per a Korky Utube video I thought I had resolved the issue.
Six days later the water was running again so I reviewed the email guidance and identified a seal in the float that appeared to be old per the guidance. Sent a photo of the seal and the system to the support tech fro Korky - Maribel - and requested confirmation of the issue. Long story short, Korky promptly confirmed the issue and is sending me a replacement seal at no cost! Under the warranty.

After a six day job with this company, my house walls still have holes, old paint residue, and some places and spots without new paint even.
They charged me a fortune at a very high hourly rate.
They gave an initial estimate much lower than others and started luring me day by day and promising all will be fixed the second day. I ended up paying more than double all other estimates.
They didn't even sand the patches they did on the walls because they don't have a sanding machine and they didn't rent one and now I am left with bigger patches to fix.
My biggest mistake was I didn't ask them to leave on the first day.
I felt something was wrong when they told me they are renting a pressure wash machine from another company.
I kept following up and being dragged by their promises as they are a reputable company.
Expensive lesson learned from this experience is to follow your initial instinct and impression.
I have to say that the guy worked hard to do the best he could with the limited resources he was given.
Never hire this company again.

I use ace hardware all the time. Great store in Eddyville Kentucky. The online shopping is a joke. They emailed me 12 hours after my purchase to said my package shipped. What they ment was it will ship in 7 days. I am 4 days past my original delivery date and it hasnt shipped. Customer service said that is normal. I will nerver use the online ace hardware again

These people. Carnivals in town. My place or work was blocked off. So I parked in the small lot by a candy store and a closed theater. Closest spot to the actual one way road. So I go to work at 7:30 am until 12:30 pm on Fridays. I come back and my car had been towed by these evil people that owned apparently this lot at Ace Hardware. Nowhere and I have dated pictures, was there a no parking Ace Hardware customers only tow away zone. I mean what person parks with a clearly marked tow away zone. On the back of the Ace hard ware was a sign stating Ace Hardware customer parking No Overnight parking. Overnight. Ok the sign is not visible from where I was parked. I went back took pictures. So I have no ride in town the three miles to where the car is. I don't live here. After all this trauma on what should have been a happy holiday weekend I am going to change this policy for this business and cut the cord of making money by illegal towing. I have contacted the Corporate office and they are sending me a check for my trouble of the cost of the illegal tow. Not only that but I will personally bury this location in negative reviews.

Don’t spend your money at this place. They have no signs warning you not to park there. They got a nice cut of the towing and ruined my day not only that but my husband beat me half to death that night for costing him the towing. I can’t even believe they would do this to someone. In a small town with ample free parking lots. Without signs I didn’t know they would tow this car.

My local Ace Hardware which is on west Francis Ave. In Spokane is the BEST! Really it is. They are personable, friendly, knowledgeable, and almost all the time greet me at the door as I come in. The owners are there, managers are there helping you all they can. And if they do uotknow the answer, they don't leave you the go through the store with you finding your answer, or they'll get another staffer to give input. They help you find an answer and that's very important when you do all the nDIY projects like I do. 5 star rating without a doubt!

I have a home project I'm working on. I have been back n fourth to ace with questions and more materials needed. They have been very helpful and so patient. I needed a certain stain to match a color. Manteca didn't have it so they sent me to Ripon. Bad idea, the lady who help me there gave us the wrong mixI went back to manteca ace and they were more than willing to help get exactly what I needed. It wasn't Ez since they had problems with the mix. After trying many times we went with a basic color. My point is. Manteca was more than patient and very helpful with making sure we were happy. I won't go to any other hardware storeManteca is the place. Props to Logan there for all the help. Definitely a 10 star

I visited the Greeneville, TN store on Friday, August 5,2022. The people at this store are always friendly and courteous. I had a plumbing problem where my toilet was running about every 15 minutes due to loss of water in the tank. One of the friendly persons working there helped disassemble yjr tank stopper. Due to my vision problems, I was unable to see a little notch the gasket was supposed to seat in. The ace employee fixed the problem, put the device back together. I have now installed the stopper assembly back on my toilet tank. No leakage and this employee probably saved me $30-4o. Ace gets my business in Greeneville

I took a chain saw to Jonson's ace hardware to be fixed back in feb. They got it fixed called me to pick it up. Went to get it and they cant find it. It was taken from there store. Now i am out of a husqvarna 310 saw, at the time i left it there I bought a sthil 180 saw so i could finish my work it was ok for what i had to do nothing like my old saw. So in replacement for my saw they gave me a P. O. S. Sthil 170 that cant cut a twig with out jamming. After buying a saw and them loosing my saw, given a P. O. S. That i gave back it was useless. I stoppped by my neighborhood Innerarity Point Ace Hardware store in Pensacola, FL today and was shocked to discover that none of the employees were wearing masks and there were no sneeze barriers at the cash registers. As a 15 year customer at this store, I was concerned and asked the manager. He said they just didn't feel like it and I could shop someplace else if I didn't like it. Avoid this store like the plague because that's what you are like to get if you shop at this store.
