“Cargo joggers and woven belt”

I bought a pair of Khaki cargo joggers (short size 0) and a woven belt (women's small) off the website. I love these clothes. The pants are comfortable and not heavy, and the belt is good quality! I wish I had ordered the joggers in size 00 though, as they are very loose on me and don't sit on my waist where they are supposed to. The belt is also a bit too large, so I recommend if you are EXTRA petite and have a size 22 inch waist, get belts elsewhere. Overall I am happy with my purchase.

I bought jeans size 4 online from American Eagle, I received the jeans but it was big so I took it tO the store to exchange it with size 2, but what I received was a DRESS! I called customer service to let them know what happened they said go to the store and return the dress and you will get your money back! I went back to the store and explained everything, the store manager said I can't refund you the money because it's a dress not jeans! Well it was NOT my fault it was the associate who packed the item fault. I called customer service like 10 times, chatted with them 5 times, sent emails 7 times and since August 14 till now I didn't receive my money back nor got an honest answer! I need this to be escalated to the highest end because that is not professional way to deal with customers?

Horrible shipping! Shipping company lost my items twice, but "accidentally" closed out both items saying they had been delivered. (confirmed via a call to the shipping company). AE refuses to refund my second order saying they already provided a refund once. No one in Customer Service can help. Horrible service. I will never order from them again.

So I went to AEO and waited outside for an open spot to be allowed into the store. Lady ask me what I was needing and I said im here for some shorts. Said the mom shorts are in that area. I said that I was wanting the boyfriend cut and she said well those are really short but there is some longer other kinds in the back. My phone kept ringing and I had to take the call and that is the only thing that saved the woman from a tongue lashing. When I was leaving to continue the call she said, I didn't think they would work out. In case this is ur store policy, I assure you I can rock the short shorts with my 50 yr old self!

I bought underwear that stretched out so much after one wash that they didn't fit anymore. The Aerie website says nothing about needing to keep the tags on clothing for returns - all it says is that you just need to have your receipt in order to get a full refund. I tried calling the store and spoke with the manager to confirm that I could return them. The manager said that since they had been washed, I could not return them unless I had approve from customer service. I then spoke with customer service, who told me it was up to the store manager to approve or not approve returns! Customer service was so poor that the agent I spoke with just logged out of the conversation before I could even ask questions. So now I spent money on underwear that didn't fit, with no way to return them, and wasted my time. I won't shop here again.

I would give no stars if I could. Last two pairs of jeans I bought my son ripped in a month. And in the butt! Contacted customer care w/ pictures and they told be to try to return to a store, which they couldn't guarantee a return. Never buying again!

Their jeans are amazing and my money is well spent with them.The clothes last me over 3 years and better than Charlotte russ clothes there trash. I highly recommend American Eagle they have the best jeans ever and their so comfy. Even buying clothes from China its better to shop here your wasting your money on clothes from China(Sammydress, RoseGal, dresslink etc). American Eagle is my favorite store and the clothes last a long time. Here is a tip buy their jeans when they have sales :)

I was a week late with my payment. I paid my balance in full. I tried to place an order with the credit I had before paying in full and I was declined! So... if you have money to spend on your AE card - don't rely on it. I know everything should be paid on time... things happen. Most cards do not block you for one past due payment!

If you're not based in the US and planning on ordering from AEO, do yourself a favor and order somewhere else… Had two orders with a total of $300, they were "shipped" about a month ago, and the packages still haven't left the customs. Tracking shows that the parcels arrived at a facility in Frankfurt, but tracking goes dead after that. Called the postal office there, they say customs documents for five items are missing, and they will probably return the parcels to the seller. Unacceptable behavior, and the AEO customer service doesn't seem to care, quite sad. The customers don't have any influence on the customs process, as AEO states they pay for duty and tax (at least in Germany), which is great, but I guess their customs department is absolute bulls***…

I totally understand that with Corona going on, things will be delayed. Because of corona, I haven't been able to go out shopping in person. Also, because my size (32C) is so hard to find in stores, shopping in person is not as much of an option. I ordered some bras and underwear on May 17. It is currently June 7th and I have yet to even see that they're shipped. I just wanted some bras that fit, but I guess I'll have to wait lol.

Very bed Online services. I ordered cloths online they charged my credit card for full payment and i have not received my order for over a month. When i called them their research team is working on it on their own sweet time. At the end i have to call them to chase for my money.

I bought three pair of Boot Cut AirFlex Jeans if February of 2021. It is now September of 2021 and all three pair have separated at the inner seam and torn. I contacted AE and their reply was we don't stand behind our clothing. Sorry AE, $150 for three pair of jeans that lasted 7 month... never buying your low quality junk again.

I order 3 sweaters from American Eagle only to receive 1 sweater and 2 pair of women's shoes. As the items were Christmas gifts I contacted American Eagle and asked them to dispatch the correct items in time for Christmas and I would return the women's shoes. They ignored my request and asked me to return the goods which I did at my cost and now they will not dispatch the missing items or refund my credit card until they receive the incorrectly dispatched goods in their warehouse. They also will not refund the postage. The correspondence with American Eagle has been slow and they seem intent on stalling and not responding to queries and they also wont accept responsibility for their mistake. I would avoid this retailer at all costs - spend your money at a retailer that respects its customers.

I have been a fan of american eagle since my early teen years. They carry my favorite jeans and I always look forward to wearing their winter collection (I like it better than their summer collections, but I've always liked their shorts, because they aren't too short or too long). They have good clothes and great service. Love it!

I ordered 4 jeans for cyber Monday during a big sale. It supposedly shipped the next day and I waited a week and a half from the time I ordered without the tracking ever updating. I contacted the company asking why it still shows carrier pickup for over a week. They told me I needed to wait 5 business days from the time the tracking updated to contact them about it. I waited a few more days and contacted them again telling them to either refund my money because it still was not shipped or use another shipping carrier because that carrier was not doing anything. They told me they could not choose another shipping carrier so they had to refund me and I had to reorder everything again. The sale was over by this point so everything was more expensive. It would only benefit them for me to reorder everything at a higher price. Will never order here again and I've been ordering here for over 10 years.

I bought some boxers for my kids that costed a total of 56. The big surprise came when the Fedex representative that brought the parcel made me pay 29 in border taxes. I leave in Spain. I did not receive any alert when I was placing my order, and my confirmation email did not say a word. I complained to customer service and they said that their general terms and conditions state that any taxes must be payed by the customer. In the moment I was complaining there was a big banner in American Eagle website stating that they cover any import taxes. How a bran can be so cynical. Dear sirs in Amercan Eagle I've lost 29, but you have lost much more that a customer.

I contacted customer service via chat; the rep asked how she could help and then disappeared for 20 minutes. She said she had sent a return label but it never arrived, not to my inbox nor to spam or elsewhere. She disconnected my chat without resolving the issue. I called customer service and the rep was very nice but the return labels that were said to be sent never came. I checked everywhere. I think it's AE's way of not paying for return shipping as promised, or to get people to go into the store to potentially buy more when they return. They were right on the business of taking my credit card for an exchange but the return administration is nonexistent. Why not include a return form with the items? Why not include a preprinted label like other companies do? Answer: they want to discourage returns, they don't want to pay for them as promised, and they want customers to have to go into the store to get their money back. It's that simple.

Ordered 2 outfits I was a complete the other sold as set pants weren't in package they refused to resend pants or refund. Don't buy from them hopefully they will be out of business soon they are closing stores left and right.

Tip for consumers:
Don't buy from them they take your money , lie and run

I visited Eagan (Minneasota) outlet Store twice. This time I went on 09/18/2020 around 4:45 pm on Saturday. Both times, Manager didn't let do the checkout on the counter so that other race's people can do checkout on the counters. She asked one of her employee ( Poor 17 years old Andreas) to do checkout for me by taking me on the the side which was very uncomfortable. I am not going to shop in American Eagle at all. There are far better stores to shop where people are real genuine and respectful.

My billing address zip code and my shipping address zip code are different. When I placed my order, I saw that I received two emails from American Eagle. One said "Thanks for your order". The other said "Your order is canceled". I immediately checked my Checking Account and saw that American Eagle took money out of my account. I called their customer service hotline and spoke to a representative whose name I cannot (fortunately for her) recall. I explained the situation and in broken English, she told me that I needed to go to my bank to get the credit. That's not an accurate statement. I told her that's not how things are done. When I got off the phone, I saw that the money had been credited back to me. In the end, it worked out. However, your customer service representative told me a false statement. Your reps need to have clear voices and should be able to speak clear English. This customer representative struggled with that.

So this has happened repeatedly. I ordered jeans worth 3k+ but received old cut pieces of dusty clothes. Then recently ordered products that costed a lot but was given old used clothes that had holes in them. Also the colour was faded and size is Rens too large.

Always been a fan of the American Eagle Jeans. The sizing has always been accurate for me and they have a variety of options as far as style goes. The shipping is pretty fast and the price is very reasonable in my opinion. Would 100% recommend.

Today I went in American Eagle in the Richmond, Indiana mall after work to return a lot of items. Some things I had didn't fit and others I just didn't love anymore. Anyway, I went in there and felt so bad for how much I was return but the employees there show me nothing but kindness and respect! They cared for my needs and wants. All so supportive with me and patient! I just want to say a huge thank you to Cassidy, Alexis, and Daly! Thank you for your teams help! You guys are amazing! I appreciate you all for today!

I went to American Eagle unsure of where to look what I needed what was possible in my size. Eric was amazing helpful in all ways possible he made My day go from stressful to amazing he is truly a Great person and an outstanding employee I am grateful I had the chance to meet this Man! Hidden duty fees, they advertise in Google as "American eagle Ireland", they show prices in EUR, there is no mention of prices excluding taxes, and when you click more information on the free shipping promotion there is no mention of duty.
I will never be ordering from American eagle again and have advised other of this. Also there was no indication of duties being charged until a few days after delivery when I got a bill from FedEx.
Steer clear.

It was a cold rainy day, i waked into american eagle i was in a workers way i tried moving until she shoved me and my friends. She stated "omg i hate kids" i thought to myself as she said this wow how could she say that 1/10 experience
