I bought a pair of Khaki cargo joggers (short size 0) and a woven belt (women's small) off the website. I love these clothes. The pants are comfortable and not heavy, and the belt is good quality! I wish I had ordered the joggers in size 00 though, as they are very loose on me and don't sit on my waist where they are supposed to. The belt is also a bit too large, so I recommend if you are EXTRA petite and have a size 22 inch waist, get belts elsewhere. Overall I am happy with my purchase.
I bought jeans size 4 online from American Eagle, I received the jeans but it was big so I took it tO the store to exchange it with size 2, but what I received was a DRESS! I called customer service to let them know what happened they said go to the store and return the dress and you will get your money back! I went back to the store and explained everything, the store manager said I can't refund you the money because it's a dress not jeans! Well it was NOT my fault it was the associate who packed the item fault. I called customer service like 10 times, chatted with them 5 times, sent emails 7 times and since August 14 till now I didn't receive my money back nor got an honest answer! I need this to be escalated to the highest end because that is not professional way to deal with customers?
Best fitting, most comfortable jeans ever. And great sizing on button-down shirts. Also most comfortable boxer briefs. They beat CK on comfort and price.
American eagle clothing is amazing! They always fit just right, good quality, and they look so good! However, the website is poor quality and it always freezes.
So about two weeks ago I bought a new pair of underwear. Having worn them I decided to place them in a mixed colours wash along with a white and blue T-shirt I've been mixed colour washing for a year. The underwear band ran into my white and blue top and has ruined it. The top cost me 50$ and the underwear 15$.
After spending 20minutes on the phone, and 3 emails later. American eagle reffered to this issue as my own fault, and a possible cause being laziness. I'm sorry American eagle. But I thought your products would of held with the standard of the the rest of my clothes, and not ruined one of my favourite t-shirts!
Unfortunately for me the end result lead to total denial of responsibility from American Eagle that their products was actually the catalyst in this debacle. So a strong word of warning. If you decide to buy cheap American Eagle products be prepared to spend your spare time washing every item separately as they can't handle being in contact with other items from your wardrobe. Someone send me some patience, very unpleased customer.
Placed an order for four clothing items total: one bikini top and three bikini bottoms. First, I thought it was weird that my order came out in two shipments, all while the bikini top still hadn't shipped after five days of placing my order. Today I received an email stating that my bikini top order had been canceled. Contacted customer service live chat first, and the representative disconnected from me while I was in the middle of typing a long reply with some bull$#*! about me "losing connection." Proceeded to then call customer service, was told that nothing could be done about my canceled order other than the obvious refund. One representatives told me that the item I ordered was low stock, while the other said that the item was out of stock, even though there is NOTHING on the website indicating this. If the item was out of stock, why the hell did I not get a notification until FIVE DAYS after placing my $#*!ing order? Customer service is a $#*!ing joke. They're admittedly nice enough but will all give you the same generic answers. I'm going out of the country for a month in a week and was hoping to receive my bikini sets before leaving, and now I'm having to scramble to find a bikini top in hopes that it will ship to my house before I'm gone. I can confidently say that I will not be ordering from AE anymore. I would've expected $#*! like this from Wish, but not AE.
I love this place... it's expensive, but their clothes hold up really wellmy daughter has had some of her jeans for more than 10 years. Super friendly customer reps.
Tried to order two pair of jeggings from America Eagle had Prmo code to get so much off wouldn't allow me to use code charged full amount called America Eagle and they were no help I canceled the order still put hold on account for three to five days there horrible
I ordered a shirt from American eagle store in fairview montreal and it took 2 weeks to arrive at wrong address Thank God a lady brought it to me

I ordered two pairs of boxers for my boyfriend for Christmas (strange, but he loves them.) I ordered them over two weeks ago and, was told at checkout that they would be at my door within 7-10 business days. No big deal. But it's been TWO WEEKS. A few days ago I contacted customer service and asked where my items were. They advised me that they were still being processed as weren't sure as to why they hadn't been shipped but told me they would get right on it and that I would get an email with an explanation within the nsxf 24 hours. Said email said, basically, "your items will be shipped within 7-10 business days. Thanks for your purchase." Nice American Eage, nice. This morning I checked my email for an update and there was 1. I read the email and it said ONE of the TWO pairs of boxers I ordered have shipped. They stated the reasoning was to "get me my items ASAP." In my opinion, sending them a week ago, together, would have been ASAP. Silly me. Overall, I gave them two stars because my boyfriend will only wear their underwear, otherwise, I do not suggest buying online from this store.

So, yesterday I went through and picked out my items online and proceeded to the checkout. Entered my cc info and it went through giving me an order number and said my confirmation email would be sent with the order number as well. I did a pdf of the screen, checked my email and NO confirmation. So I called their hotline and entered that number. It did NOT match my order at all! I called AE they said glitch in the system and to call my bank etc. My cc company said the charge was trying to go through and they were blocking it. I called ae back. The girl was nice but could NOT find MY order number at all. So I ordered online placed an order that apparently did NOT exist yet they tried to bill my cc. She had me on hold for 5 minutes then their system sent me to a survey so I was never informed what happened. I called my cc company again and explained my second attempt to try and find out WHAT happened. She made sure the payment was blocked. So do NOT use your bank card and use a cc that you can call and actually get a situation rectified by your cc company. Had I used my bank card I would have been screwed. How can they process a payment and have no record of your order? My items were still sitting in the the online checkout too. There's something sketchy going on with their website etc. I think its been hacked or something. So be careful ordering online and make sure you print or do a screenshot of your order and check it immediately for accuracy. If they screw it up call your cc company immediately and have them block payment asap. Because if you don't, the charge will eventually go through and you will not get your stuff with no proof of an actual order. So always check right away. I like their jeans but, I don't think I will order from them again because something has been compromised. My cc company has a watch on my card now. Best of luck!

Be careful and get all the info for whatever you order . Save the screen of the order number .Check for accuracy right away. Use your cc if you can that way you can cancel asap if there is something fishy going on.
They have some good clothes at good prices and the free shipping took about a week. I would shop at ae online again.

I had called customer service three times on hold was on the phone for over 25 minutes the first time second time 1 hour got nowhere talking to someone overseas who you cannot understand I kept telling him I want to speak to someone in the USA and asking for supervisor in the US he said they didn't have any nor did he have any where he was located this is having to do with a purchase I made online last year during covid I had tried to contact him last year I got nowhere I got hung up on or no one answered and regarding three pairs of shorts that are too big in the hips and leg. Previous call I made she told me to give them to Goodwill and they would send me out three pairs of shorts men's 12 inch inseam shorts and blue khaki and gray we got disconnected call back I have gotten nowhere this is got to be the worst company ever who hires people overseas when people in our country needs jobs for one thing I can't speak to a US citizen when calling in when you ask for one I've had it they better do something about there so I'm going to post everything I have online. Then he was trying to speak to me and all the sudden it just started making all kinds of funny noises to where you could not understand a word he was saying previously I couldn't understand them as well I called back again asking for US citizen for customer service he told me that was not available. This tells me I'm not ever shopping at American Eagle ever again. I have purchased from American Eagle 4 years no longer also had credits they said they didn't have them any longer. Beware
