Terrible company I have always paid my orders I have had some late some paid early been a customer for all most 2 years again I state they always get paid they took me from 1600 limit to 50 whatever! But I went to buy something that was total 50.88 and they denied it I always pay so I give them a zero..

If you are planning to refund an item using Afterpay, please think it twice as I have not get the money yet even when the store where I make the purchased authorise the refund.
I complaint about it and after 19 days nothing has been solved yet.
There have been about 4 staff members looking my case and nobody has helped me yet.
I imagine how would be the circumstances if we do not pay on time.

After pay, don't give sh*t about the customer. I have made multiple purchases using this service. VERY BAD idea. Since 2022 my refunds have been pending. I only noticed this because of something else, and I was checking my bank transactions and realized that I had never gotten a refund from them. When I reached out, they told me that the vendor did not issue the refund. That's when I asked, so how did afterpay send me a refund confirmation? They did not answer, and what made it worse is that they are telling me they can't see all my refunds even though I have proof.

Everytime I try to make a purchase my stuff is declined. I make payments on time and everything and I also been with Afterpay for over a year and I still have to go though this. I mean every single time. It's ridiculous. I don't recommend especially if you really need to purchase something you better off buying it

I paid literally every payment on time but they constantly deny me the ability to purchase items. They say my credit limit is $1200 but never allow me to purchase over $300. Their site is fraudulent and needs to be taken down

It works well until you have a return. I made a return to Lululemon for $106 and Afterpay is not crediting my account. They are holding to my money. It's not event that much. I don't recommend using them. I have been going back and forth with their rep Joyce for days now and she still hasn't credited my account. I don't trust them. I provided a receipt for the refund and still no resolution. Also, why don't they have a number to call? Red flag.

Bank account was compromised 1-3-24, contacted Afterpay 1-4-24, today is 1-18-24 and NO ONE has helped with the situation. I explained what happened, they're just allowing payments to fail. They refuse to read the multiple messages sent. 5 people have responded via email saying someone will call, they never do and the escalation team will reach out, they never do. STAY AWAY!

This app took my first form of payment for the first payment and then told me on the second payment that my source of payment was denied and then went into the site and put in three more credit cards all of them denied even though they're working everywhere else.
I have tried to contact this app with absolutely no luck every question an email with absolutely no reply there's no one that will talk to you and there's no way to get a hold of anyone.
I am now and have been receiving late notices late fees and still no one has contacted me. I would give this app no stars but there's no way to do that.
Don't get caught up in their stupidity if they can't have a customer service center they don't need to be doing business with the public

This afterpay is a scam. They will charge your credit card twice. One under the afterpay charge and the other under the merchant name... i don't know how the hell the secret service and the attorney general haven't caught these thieves. They are probably from another country. Contact your bank if you did any business with these clowns. Also the have a fake telephone with a message stating to contact them via email..

Afterpay isn't vetting their merchants. They are processing payments for websites that pop up and shut down in a matter of days. Example is sablehubs.com. I ordered a WInch through sablehubs.com and afterpay was the only payment method. The site is now gone, I never received shipping confirmation or the merchandise and it's been 16 days past the original delivery estimate date. Afterpay requires that I request a refund from the merchant but of course there is no merchant any more and Afterpay is perfectly fine with continuing to take payments from me. Not that it's any easier to contact afterpay than a website that has disappeared. There's no actual contact information anywhere on the afterpay website. You just have to file a dispute and wait for an email or phone call that thus far hasn't come. Plenty of automated messages but thus far no actual communication with a person. DO NOT USE AFTERPAY.

I placed an order with a company and applied for afterpay (the site worked out to be a scam.) First the charges went through afterpay before the order was complete and again through my credit card when I finalized the order. I have tried giving AfterPay the information they require several times and we keep going around in circles. Can't reach anyone by phone. Bottom line I have given up! I still have not received the item I purchased and the website now is down. BTW my credit card immediately reversed the charges.

I have purchased a massage chair from My deal and paid with afterpay. Item I paid and received was 99% wrong cheap item. After going back and forth with afterpay and Mydeal for months since August 2022 I still have the chair and my deal promises many times to be picked up but nothing happened till now and after pay said it's not their responsibility and pass my account to debtors. Do not recommend afterpay to anyone.

They approve your first order. After that they do a credit check and if they find 1 negative they will send you a email sorry but thank you for using after pay but we don't want your business anymore. Think long and hard before you use this service.

I've been waiting for days for a response on why was my account still being with drawn when I stated several times I had yet to receive my items. I have paid out nearly $84 for a package I never received. I advise if your looking for a professional reliable service this isn't it. Constant robotic replies from afterpay. Klarna' has always investigated and refunded my account if there was a lost, stolen etc package missing. Afterpay is crooks far as I'm concern. If ive paid you for years on all items/merchandise never once a complaint then it's clearly a legitimate claim. The merchant apparently never sent out my package Bc when I ask where was my items suddenly I got a shipping notification. But a week later still nothing. I never take over a Month to receive anything unless it's nonexistent. If this is how afterpay resolve issues for their customers I'm nolonger moving forward with them.

My experience with using after pay was good up until the point when the payment was due. When using this you have to make sure that your payment is available on the due date. Well my payment was ready on that date. I received a message that the payment was declined I had to manually go into the system and make the payment myself. They dropped my credit line and tried to charge me for late fees. I tried to contact the company to tell them about the air and their payment system but no one was available to talk not even a customer service line. That's something you have to be very careful of they will try to charge you for late fees and drop your credit limit. So if you're going to use their system make sure you manually go in and do it because they system reads error when it's time for a payment. This will save you a headache other than that use another payment system.

Horrible company. If you accidentally forget your password, they will make you go through four emails of verification questions. I had to forward ID information and they asked for backing information (banking papers) and I drew the line. Don't go through this vendor. My acct is still frozen and they never helped me further after three emails of verifying my information.

Very poor!
Just received a limit increase to $3000, yet any transactions I try to make decline.
I have an excellent repayment history, up to date with all current repayments, and have used only 15% of my current limit.
I have been in contact with the Afterpay team numerous times and have yet to be given an explanation why my account appears to have a purchasing hold placed on it.
Not very professional at all.

Afterpay is an awesome platform designed to help you purchase items by dividing your purchase to (4) equal payments. They have multiple stores they are partnered with to be able to offer you the payment options and gather more every day. They still in the US not have come as far as the Australia Afterpay platform allowing you to make virtual cards, purchase in all stores and other different merchants but it's getting there just takes time but make sure you check them out.

Afterpay designs their app so when you click to pay in store you can unintentionally activate an afterpay card where they charge you 9.99 per month. I immediately realised this cancelled it and contacted afterpay, they refused the refund, very dodgy company designs the app so you can easily click 1 button and a random card is activated with ongoing fees, they are scammers
