Afterpay is an awesome platform designed to help you purchase items by dividing your purchase to (4) equal payments. They have multiple stores they are partnered with to be able to offer you the payment options and gather more every day. They still in the US not have come as far as the Australia Afterpay platform allowing you to make virtual cards, purchase in all stores and other different merchants but it's getting there just takes time but make sure you check them out.
These guys are just money hungry bustards with absolutely no care factor or loyalty to thier customers what so ever. You cam be a loyal customer for years with perfect payments and when something goes wrong by accident they will.just cut you off for 12months without a care in the world which makes you feel used and unimportant to the company even.though you were probably a customer who helped build the company to where it is today. They don't give a $#*! about thier customers and they don't deserve customers full stop.

Been an afterpay customer since 2017. Lately have hated their customer service. They decided to freeze my account until it was paid off due to asking to reschedule payments more than once. The agent that froze my account failed to mention that to me before rescheduling my payments. If I would of known they were going to do that beforehand I would not have asked again. Since they failed to mention that and I have said that several times and how I feel about it, they should care and unfreeze my account. At least when all rescheduled payments are made,NOT when full account is paid off! I am beyond pissed, they don't care how I feel or want to help. I am wanting to not be an afterpay customer anymore due to this situation and my feelings being ignored.

I have purchased a massage chair from My deal and paid with afterpay. Item I paid and received was 99% wrong cheap item. After going back and forth with afterpay and Mydeal for months since August 2022 I still have the chair and my deal promises many times to be picked up but nothing happened till now and after pay said it's not their responsibility and pass my account to debtors. Do not recommend afterpay to anyone.

They approve your first order. After that they do a credit check and if they find 1 negative they will send you a email sorry but thank you for using after pay but we don't want your business anymore. Think long and hard before you use this service.

My experience with using after pay was good up until the point when the payment was due. When using this you have to make sure that your payment is available on the due date. Well my payment was ready on that date. I received a message that the payment was declined I had to manually go into the system and make the payment myself. They dropped my credit line and tried to charge me for late fees. I tried to contact the company to tell them about the air and their payment system but no one was available to talk not even a customer service line. That's something you have to be very careful of they will try to charge you for late fees and drop your credit limit. So if you're going to use their system make sure you manually go in and do it because they system reads error when it's time for a payment. This will save you a headache other than that use another payment system.

They wanted me to pay them back with a late payment I did then they said I could never use them again. That just wasted my money of the late payment when I got nothing out of it. I could've saved my own money. What a bunch of bs these f-ers are.

Horrible company. If you accidentally forget your password, they will make you go through four emails of verification questions. I had to forward ID information and they asked for backing information (banking papers) and I drew the line. Don't go through this vendor. My acct is still frozen and they never helped me further after three emails of verifying my information.

I did a return on August 1st 2022 money posted to my account this past Tuesday. Today they when back into my account and took the money back after I did my return. I'm starting to believe that Afterpay are scammers! Too the fullest will not do business with them ever again…. Good luck to those who are using them..

We made the mistake to place a big order worth around 1500CH for our kids birthday. The day of the delivery, owner was rude and late, and there was definitely not worth 1500CH of balloons that were of very poor quality.
She asked us to pay more money and an additional "gas fee" complaining she would need to go get more balloons, and that it will cost her money, which we disagreed to because the guest were arriving very soon. Aw tried to move on with the issue and simply ask the owner m to only pay for the amount of balloons she brought (was around 600-700CH) which she refused and made a scandal, was rude and left making a scene in front of our kids.

You won't get your full refund even if the entire order is returned. I paid about $100 for a purchase around $200 but I am only receiving about $70. I asked Afterpay about this and the response made absolutely no senser and included something about working their way from the last scheduled payment? It makes no sense.

I purchased 2 items thru Amazon used Afterpay but their card was declined. So Amazon cancelled the order. A month later no refund of over $43.00 and no items. I keep getting the run around from Afterpay. Even got BBB involved and they still won't get me the refund.

I was introduced to AP about 4 or 5 years ago. I found it was fantastic for me. It allowed me to purchase items much easier than would normally be, as I'm on an aged pension, I was good at paying it off early or on time.
Then, they change the app so I can't use it in store (UNLESS I buy a $1,000 up market mobile phone that I don't need and can't afford). So now I'm limited to only being able to avail myself of it with online purchases.
Then, they bring in no payment up front (NPUF). Lots of fan fare, promotional emails etc and the function is enabled on my account.
Next time i use AP, no NPUF. Mmmm what's going on? Send a query. 5 or 6 messages later (going over everything EXCEPT my query. $#*! customer service) it appears, because of my infrequent use, I'm no longer a "good enough customer" for NPUF!
Gee AP. I wonder why really good customers like me are using ZIP pay more and more.

This company is terrible. I heard about them from a friend so I figured I would try it. Got approved for a decent limit only to not be able to use it. I have tried several different purchases and they were all declined. My credit is decent, I don't have any collections, late payments etc but for some reason they approved me for a spending limit but won't approve any of my purchases. Non of which are anywhere near the limit they approved me for! This is very annoying if you're not going to apporve any purchases why approve a spending limit? Contacted "support" and their response was "I. The future we will review your payment history blah blah blah" how would I have a payment history in the future if I can't make purchases in the present. Stupidest thing ever! After 6 months I finally deactivated my account, deleted the app and gave up! I don't have time for the idiocy. Terrible experience

I moved a due date and paid it on time and afterpay froze my whole account saying my full balances have to be paid off! Never experienced this before and I've moved some due dates sometimes way before! Nor is this communicated in the afterpay policy or portal!

I'm extremely disappointed with how refunds are done. I don't understand how I can buy something. Return it at the store and still have to pay for Afterpay. That to me is a scam because I got my refund to my card and still had to pay for the items in Afterpay. How does that work? So I returned the items and still paid after pay, and I have the receipt that I returned the items. Totally don't understand. This is a scam. I would never shop at Afterpay ever again, and I will tell other people about my situation with Afterpay and how they scammed me.

I've tried to ask questions and asked for specific review of my account. After 7 days of runaround I've finally gotten my answer but it took me asking multiple, multiple times. I had to beg them to please not send me the same copy and paste answer about how Afterpay works for a 3rd time and to just read and respond to my actual questions. I had to ask them to respond in list format to avoid having my questions overlooked. So disappointed with their customer support that I'll be forgetting Afterpay exists after today.

I placed a $30 order on amazon thru afterpay. Afterpay sent me an email that the order was for $695 and took out the first payment of $173. They overdrafted my bank account and every time another bill comes out, i get another fee. They are telling me they cant refund me until the single use card expires NEXT MONTH. I even did their job for them and contacted amazon. They sent me an email which i forwarded to afterpay that states the purchase was only $31 and was canceled. They still refuse to issue me a refund. Im calling a lawyer and ive filed a complaint thru the attorney general in my state. They should not be able to do this to people. Stay away from afterpay!

I have made a purchase trough after pay with Coggles, It was a scam, never received the order. I asked Afterpay to get in touch with them and refund my money or stop the payments, there was no help. After pay have collected all payments, did not tried to get a refund and did not help at all. If they have scam company in they dealing then is not good trusting them as well

I have been a loyal customer almost 4 years with over 30 pages of afterpay purchases and they are having a problem refunding me $40 for a purchase I never received. They keep saying contact the merchant which I have and I have forwarded the emails to them from the merchant and close the dispute which they told me to do so after pay could refund my money and I have no results. Not only that now they have taken their phone lines down so you can't get in contact with them the only thing I can see to do now is to contact the compliance hotline.

I ordered an item that didn't fit (i used Afterpay for the purchase). I returned the item and did not receive any payments made returned.
I inquire and got the runaround. Weeks later nothing. The store refunded Afterpay but they didn't refund my account and I am out $60 (minus shipping, restocking fees which original purchase came to $110) Ridiculous!

I placed an order on a merchant that uses afterpay. I was charged $177 instantly but the merchant claims the order did not go through even though i was charged by afterpay. I first contacted the merchant, they said they have no order from my account and to contact afterpay to refund me. I contacted afterpay and they refuse to refund me, they told me to contact the merchant. I provided afterpay documents of my conversation showing proof that i went to the merchant first and proof that there was no order on file and they still would not refund me...

Got the wrong size on my order so the items were returned for the right size. Not only did Afterpay keep charging me the original cost of the returned items, I ended up with another payment for the replacement items. So I ended up paying twice for the same items. Try to ask for a refund and they just tell you to contact this person, then person, then get an email (they ask you on the site for your email address and what's wrong) telling me I needed to physical talk to someone but there's no phone number. I asked and still no response. Not only am I not using Afterpay but Fabletics is just as useless and pathetic since they decided to charge me twice even though they got the return and sent an email to me saying they did.

Purchased a product, returned the product to the store, Aldo credited my account and after pay continued to take my payments, I have fought with them through emails for the last 4 weeks, can't call them and then I get a call from Racheal and saying that they don't owe me any money, how is that when I took the product back and after pay kept on taking my bi weekly payments... then I ask to speak to a Manger and she said they will get to me, I recieved an email stating that they don't owe me a penny... I go to reply to the email and the email bounces back stating that it can't go through that the recipient email is no longer available... I will never use after pay again... they are thieves...

Do yourself a favor, pay cash or ask yourself if you really need the item you are Afterpaying. I purchase five shirts, returned three, and kept two. Afterpay is charging me for three shirts despite the fact that Nordstroms has confirmed receipt for three shirts. Once I zero out my balance I am deleting the app.
