Afterpay is an awesome platform designed to help you purchase items by dividing your purchase to (4) equal payments. They have multiple stores they are partnered with to be able to offer you the payment options and gather more every day. They still in the US not have come as far as the Australia Afterpay platform allowing you to make virtual cards, purchase in all stores and other different merchants but it's getting there just takes time but make sure you check them out.
These guys are just money hungry bustards with absolutely no care factor or loyalty to thier customers what so ever. You cam be a loyal customer for years with perfect payments and when something goes wrong by accident they will.just cut you off for 12months without a care in the world which makes you feel used and unimportant to the company even.though you were probably a customer who helped build the company to where it is today. They don't give a $#*! about thier customers and they don't deserve customers full stop.
Paying every two weeks for a dress that never came i have contacted them repeatedly they claim they dont do telephone calls to make it easier for the customers!

I have been in contact with their customer service team for 5 days now as I want to change my email address but unfortunately I hadn't been receiving the verification emails… they asked for my DOB about 5 times, asked for ID twice… I am unsure what else I am to provide? How hard is it to look up my accounts when I have provided all proof of account, and even proof of an order I placed? Highly don't recommend

I had a fraudulent website scam me they accepted afterpay so they seemed legit I mean doesn't Aftercheck out merchants before handing over peoples hard earned money! This scam site homerepellent has a fake Texas address wirh a UK number which has been reported as a spam scam number! Aterpay, not only are they impossible to talk to you wait days even weeks for responses which seem to be by a 2nd grader! They repeatedly ask the same questions, which I answer then they ask again, this tells me they are not even reading my email. I have been a customer since they started but recently found the original owners sold the business and now a bunch of incompetents are at the wheel! So sadly I will not use them ever again, I will add them to the bad business list along with crappy Paypal!

Used to be a 5-star company, but now their so-called "customer service" is complete crap. One of my orders didn't go through on the app and I didn't know if I had to reorder or not because I didn't want to get double charged. I messaged them later that day, but gave them the benefit of the doubt that they were busy from the rush of customers, so I waited. Monday came and went and by this point no one has been responding to any of my messages through the app. The phone number reroutes you to the same chat they've been ignoring and even my emails have gone unanswered. They claim someone will message me back within 24 hours but that's obviously a lie. Had to go to Sezzle to complete my Christmas shopping since Afterpay clearly doesn't care enough about their customers to respond to them. The only reason they're getting 2 stars is because they are a pretty good service to use, as long as you don't have any problems.
If you do, you're screwed. Been a customer since 2019 but I don't think l'll be back. It's not worth the headache.

I purchased an item with after-pay from Old Navy - and returned it - trying to get ahold of customer service regarding this matter is impossible. You have to wait for them to they no longer have phones. It is all done via email.
When they finally get to you, it's a runaround on when you will get a refund (the order was already paid in full). Old Navy, because I returned it in-store, had to refund it to After-Pay I have that on my receipt refunded to After-pay, but After-pay states it was refunded directly to me. NO, IT WASN'T.

I purchased an item from Amazon and paid my initial down payment of $54 and right away I canceled it because I decided I wanted something else and afterpay only gives me $30 back out of that $54 down payment and when I contact them they tell me that's the merchants problem and I need to contact Amazon, Amazon has nothing to do with it when afterpay is the financing company who took my money and they're giving me this whole runaround about payment plans, when I have no payment plans because I canceled the order, the order was never even shipped, don't do it. Don't go through these guys. Guys they'll rip you off any way they can, I mean this order wasn't even shipped out to me. I canceled it within 5 minutes after placing it and I can't even get all of my money back

After years of faithfully using AFTERPAY I find myself unable to purchase from my favourite company. No others explanation other than "too bad". I've not only accrued thousands of dollars in credit but have diligently paid my instalments WELL BEFORE THE DUE DATE. Obviously Afterpay doesn't feel the need to offer due loyalty nor consideration to its customers.

After paying on time, if not early on all of my payments thus far, I was 3 days late on "ONE" payment and instead of just charging me a late fee, they take my balance down to practically nothing and than going to tell me if I keep making my future payments on time, it can increase again! WTF am I supposed to buy for what you left me! And after paying HUNDREDS of dollars ON TIME AND EARLY! This is the way you treat your loyal customers, I can see why on pretty much every site y'all have such a horrible rating! Most ridiculous app ever. It's not just the app. It's Afterpay in general. I wish I could get people to quit using them. They gave me a spending limit. And that was fine. They had me spend an hour signing up. And that was fine…. But the fact that I was declined from everything I tried to purchase from each retailer? That's ridiculous. They kept sending me texts and emails. They would say come back and buy your items. Come back and use our app. I had to sit there and chat with an agent, which is not even live. And they said sorry that they had to make quick decisions on allowing my purchases…. One purchase was 88 dollars for 22 dollars a payment. I'd of paid it in two payments instead of 4…. But they still declined. My credit score is decent. Not horrible. I also have money in the bank. It's just hard times. Got bills to pay… and needed something for my kids… So yeah $#*! this crap and the horrible stuff I had to deal with. After you get declined it will tell you that you can still use Afterpay. Lol I signed up for Sezzle and got approved for 1000 dollar's almost instantly. I spent 200. That's it… Affirm will also help. Don't use this place

I've NEVER had an issue with Afterpay. I actually loved it. Was always on time with payments until I returned something. Afterpay delayed it. I had returned it to amazon, Amazon processed it and it was in transit. They received it and approved my return but Afterpay still delayed it and my refund. And still wanted me to finish paying off my balance. But I am not PAYING FOR SOMETHING I RETURNED. Then they removed my credit limit of $750 down to $0. All because I didn't want to continue paying for something I returned? I won't be using Afterpay NEVER AGAIN! Even after the arguments back and forth, they never resolved my account and only gave me a credit of $75. What the $#*! type of $#*! is that. Don't download Afterpay!

AFTERPAY owes me $40 just from one order and I still have yet to see it. I should have got this money back the beginning of June and it is now almost august. Absolutely ridiculous. DO NOT USE AFTERPAY! It is best to just buy what you can when you can from the actual company/merchant. Using Afterpay is not worth the hassle and the loss of money and time trying to get "YOUR MONEY BACK!" I returned items worth over 100.00 and was only partially refunded less than a third of my refund. Customer service is horrible and can only be contacted by email (probably because they have a lot of irate and frustrated customers)! They do this adjusted order total thing that don't add or subtract correctly. The customer service email person basically told me I was only getting what was refunded to me. So now I'm out money and merchandise! I even contacted the merchant and they told me that Afterpay was suppose to give me my full refund. I ABSOLUTELY DO NOT RECOMMEND ANY ONE TO USE Afterpay. Even the "perks/rewards" are a joke!"

I have tried for weeks to afterpay to get my account unfrozen and have not had one reply from them I'm not happy at all all I get is someone will contact me and the send this number but have heard anything and there is no phone number you can ring them on I'm ready to close my account with them I have been with them since 2016 and never been late with a payment
