If I could give Airrattle a 0 I would.
My husband placed an online order for an air soft gun for my son and never received a receipt, confirmation email, nothing so we assumed called our credit card company and they did not charge our account either. Tried called and emailing the company- no responses.

So, my son convinced me to try one more time ordering this item for him and I did. The exact same thing happened again. Low and behold the next week I receive two of the exact same guns. Tried calling, emailing, called my credit card company and they would not respond nor help with my return, and I'm still fighting to get my money back. I have had to contact the BBB in Ohio and that is the only way I have received any type of response from AirRattle. Please don't wait your time or money buying from this company as they now want to charge me a "restocking fee" for my duplicate orders which they are saying notices must have gone into my "spam" bucket. Total scammers and I tried putting a comment on their website, but they wouldn't post it!

Ordered a whole bunch of Airsoft gear including a gun for my son for his birthday. After 7 days and no delivery or communication from the company I called them and they said they had been trying to reach me. A bit absurd since all my contact details were on my order form. So they needed to confirm my shipping and billing address - strange - and then said the order was on the way. I asked for overnight shipping since they screwed up and the guy said sorry no can do. I then get an email that says the gun my son ordered was on backorder. I call them again and ask what can they do about this since my son sis a bunch of research on the gun and the accessories he ordered were tied to the gun. They find me an alternative gun that I was forced to settle with because it was a birthday gift and I needed it. Again, I asked if they could do something for me to make up for THEIR mistake and the did absolutely nothing. Throw me free shipping, an extra bottle of BBs... something to try to make it right. ZIP! I really do not want to do business with these guys again. Oh, and the last gun I bought from them did not work and I could not return it because it was a few days past the 15 day warranty.

I have purchased from 4 websites, and they are hands down the best! I love airrattle.com and will never shop anywhere else. My favorite gun from airrattle is the JG S-System

So, I ordered an Aug and 2 sniper rifles. The Aug out performed the snipers by a long shot so I tried to return them within 15 days. I emailed and no response for 3 days so I called. I spoke to a guy who was friendly and issued an rma for the 2 rifles. I accepted the 25% buyback fee for open items. The next day, I finally got a response to my email saying they do not accept open items. I ignored that email as I already had an rma in process. I paid $26 for return shipping. Fast forward 2 whole weeks when I get an email saying this:

William. I did receive the paperwork that the return for ******* was processed yesterday. Unfortunately, you returned an item with out a box and it is physically broken as stated by our tech. We informed you that this was not returnable without a box on 9/25. I do apologize but at this time we can not take this gun back that is physically broken and without a box. I do apologize. When the other return is processed we will contact you as well. Thank you, Amber

So there are now 2 issues here... I wanted a simple return for 2 guns that did not perform as advertised. I followed the 15 day return policy, paid for return shipping, and I informed them beforehand of the missing boxes and accepted the buyback fee. So that is one promise stated on the website broken. NOW, they say the items are broken? So since I responded in the first 15 days, that should be covered under their defective item warranty even if it was damaged in transit. What do I get? A snooty email saying that they are sending back the guns after acknowledging that they are broken. I had no knowledge of any defects at the time of shipping and really shouldn't matter as I followed policy regardless of the issue. I would HIGHLY recommend avoiding this website at all costs and try Airsoftgi.com. I have had GREAT results from them and will conduct all my business with them moving forward.

They DO NOT honor their warranty information! I ordered a RXC Well VZ-61 Scorpion from the site (order #*******). I have several other airsoft guns and I am pretty familiar with how to fix them. However, this one NEVER worked despite several attempts to troubleshoot it. So I sent it back. Their site states, "We guarantee that the product will arrive in (a word is left out here on their website) condition or we will either exchange for new item or return the full purchase price of the product when the item is returned." BUT THEY DO NOT HONOR THIS PROMISE. They charged me 25% restock fee since the gun was supposedly working, no reimbursement for shipping from or back to company either. I asked if they could just send out a new gun but they said no. NEVER EVER ORDER AIRSOFT GUNS FROM THIS COMPANY.

DO NOT ORDER FROM AIRRATTLE.COM. I purchased a birthday gift that I left in the original packaging until it was openend at the birthday party 2 weeks after I received it. The AK 47 electric airsoft gun would not work right out of the box. I notified the company within 24 hours of opening the package that there was a problem. I received a notice that I was outside the 72 hour return period. I received the same poorly written e-mail that I see other unsatisfied buyers have received re: the 72 hour policy. The company insisted that the gun's malfunction was due to buyer mishandling. All I did was open the package -there was no buyer misuse but they continued to blame me for the problem. The customer service was nothing more than a few unhelpful e-mails. "Technical support" was just as useless -with them suggesting that I start disassembling the gun to look for wiring problems. This is ridiculous with a new product. This company is unprofessional and untrustworthy. Buy your airsoft products elsewhere.

DOA Pistol
December 28, 2015

I purchased a pistol from them and it was DOA. They quickly issued me an RMA and I sent the pistol back. They received it Nov 23rd. I waited a week to call and check on the status and was told I would be receiving a replacement. Another week went by and no replacement. Another call same story. This time a person named Dylan tells me he will take care of it personally. Another week goes by no tracking number, no pistol. Two weeks before Christmas I call again and was told I would get a tracking number and it would arrive by Christmas. It is now Dec 28th and still no tracking number or gun.

Calling is a joke. Voicemail is always full and it usually takes repeated redials an hour to get someone on the phone. I am sitting on hold as I type this. It has been 40 minutes.

My next email will be to the Ohio Attorney General. Here is the information if you need it as well...

I ordered several items for my son for Christmas 2011. They arrived in damaged packaging. I assumed that someone at Airrattle had not taken the care to use bubble wrap and that they were damaged in transit. Having read of others' experiences, I now question whether they were already damaged items when they were placed in the envelope and shipped to me. When I contacted them I was told, days later, that they needed me to send pictures of the damaged items. I let them know that I saw this as very unprofessional, but I did so. Days later after I contacted them again, I was told they would send a prepaid shipping label so that I could return the items and that they would "inspect" them and send new items. I never received the label. I contacted them AGAIN and was told this time that I had 2 options: 1. Return the items at my own expense, with no guarantee that they would send me new items (but I have only 72 hours to do this) or 2. Buy the same items from them again and use the first as "spare parts". WHAT? These items shouldn't require "spare parts". The other issue was that upon closer inspection the batteries in the scope were corroded. I wish that I had read others' reviews of this company before I ordered. I will report them to the BBB and will tell everyone I know that this is a company to be avoided. Now that I have learned of others' experiences, I realize that they truly are crooks and should absolutely be shut down!

I am having a terrible experience with airrattle right now. Customer services is aweful. Yes they may be cheaper but not worth the headache. The Better Business Bureau gives them a C- grade. I wish I would have done some research on these people before I spent my money. PLEASE SAVE YOURSELVES AND DO NOT PURCHSE FROM THEM. I am waiting for a backorder from them and once I recieve which I hope is soon, I'm going to look into filing a complaint with the BBB.
