I was an AlertID member but I stopped getting alerts several months ago. Went to their web site today and found it stuck on their home page. They must be out of business or let their support staff go.

Does anyone know anything?

As another poster stated you get constant alerts most of them not even in your area and there is no way to unsubscribe and nobody ever answers emails. I finally had to set up my email server to automatically delete anything from domaine AlertID.com

Neighborhood security is very important, especially if you have children. Their safety is always first and foremost. I want to know if my area of community is in jeopardy at any time and Alert ID, is always on top of things. Everyone should have this.

It won't let me opt out of email alerts, which are mostly about residence changes of registered sex offenders, sent to my tablet many times every day including the middle of the night. The occasional report of an actual crime turns out to be weeks or months late and the link is never informative. All it tells me is the nature of the crime and how close it was to my address. If I click on the map, it either won't load or shows me a map of Africa. Not even close.

I have uninstalled the app, unsubscribed many times since I have to resubscribe in order to complain about the ceaseless worthless alerts, reported the alerts as spam, given them a bad review in the app store, but nothing will get it to leave me alone. Do I really need to hear at 2:30 in the morning that a convicted sex offender now lives 0.3 miles from me (but they won't say exactly where)? I don't want it, don't need it, and I just want it to go away! Please!
