Bought a pair of wool runners a few months ago, and they're easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Usually wear them sockless or with no-show liners. They look great and I love that you can wash them. Would definitely recommend.
These shoes hurt my feet after wearing for 30 minutes. Tried several times thinking I just needed to get used to them, but each time my foot pain increased. Tried to return them but Allbird would not accept a return because I was 13 days outside their return window. The shoes were barely worn and in very good shape. The best they would do is offer a $10 credit for shoes I bought for $135. Expensive lesson.
I suffer from extremely smelly feet. I wore my Allbirds all day today at work, came home and took a 4 mile walk. Just took off my socks and they smell like they're fresh out of the dryer! Really? Amazingly comfortable shoes along with incredible costumer service. Will definitely by again.
Much like many of you I loved my shoes when I first got them. They're unbelievably comfortable. Unfortunately, they don't seem to wear normally. I am a dogwalker. Essentially all I do is walk on sidewalks. I'm not playing soccer or kicking stumps. Anyhow, a hole started developing in the big toe region maybe after 6 months. It was tiny and I thought it wasn't too big of a deal. Well, now I can definitely see my socks through them and it hasn't even been 9 months. The soles are still in good condition. My thoughts are that this happened because I wear a half size and with my toe stretching that part of the shoe it thus made it wear more. I know the 10 will be too big for me. So, maybe they should start making 1/2 sizes or probably revisit the material they use. I'm very disappointed. I really wanted to be able to order another pair of these.
Dont book unless you are sure enough with your travel dates! They will make an excuse for refunding everything! Travel insurance was useless by the way! Will cost you a lot and will make you wait for 3-4 months or nothing! Customer service was not properly trained. Dont fall for their trap! I am warning you!
My tree runner shoes get soaking wet if used off a pathway, even from dew / wet ground when it is not raining (the company says they withstand light drizzle which is not true). I would like only a few sustainable shoes in my collection, these aren't useful as they aren't functional.
I initially got the wrong size, I had no problem returning them within a month of purchase, they don't want to chat about it though, so don't send an email to explain, just put me in the box for a refund and purchase new ones.
My current ones though have been used for well over a month before encountering the problem with water, so can't return
The shoes themselves are really very beautiful and clearly well made. Unfortunately, they don't quite fit my feet, but they were super helpful about the return - the accept them even if you've worn them.
I have to give them 5 stars purely because their customer service has been absolutely superb. Companies like this deserve to do well. They are making quality products with honest service.
For the record - a one star review because the shoe doesn't fit is harsh and irresponsible - other reviewers on this site need a little perspective.
Long story short - they are really nice so give them a go. If they aren't perfect, send them back.
I ordered the Tree loungers in a size 8 as the Allbirds website says this pair is true-to-size and doesn't stretch. However, after a few months, mine are so stretched out that I can no longer even wear them. I contacted the company thinking they might be reasonable but was told that they would not exchange them since it was past the 30-day trial window. Obviously, the 30-day window seems generous but is far too brief for their shoes to stretch out from regular wear. No one should pay $95 for shoes that are unwearable less than a year later - will not buy again.
The shoes are very comfy, but definitely not worth 95 dollars. Got these as a gift, but after the first month of wearing them, they started to fall apart (cheap materials apparently).
I reached out to someone named Molly on the customer service and after emailing back and forth for a couple of days, she wasn't able to help me since we couldn't find the transaction (again didn't have it because they were a gift). Very disappointed for such expensive shoes and awful customer service and such strict exchange policy.
I love the shoes, they are super comfortable, although the style on the lounger is very "granny". I'll wear them but probably with trousers so I can hide them a little.
The problem I have is with their customer service which seems to be a very common complaint. I ordered and chased up after a week to find out they hadn't left at all due to a stock take. Why the hell didn't they email me when they go the order to say there would be a delay.
Will definitely by more merino shoes, but probably not from Allbirds
Free shipping took well over 10 days! Seriously who does that? When they arrived, the fit was bad. On Allbirds website, it says no half sizes and to size up as they run small. I wear an 8 1/2 to 9 with a wide foot. Following their advice, I ordered the 9. When they finally arrived 10 days after ordering, I tried them on an they were huge! Too long and too wide. Very much like a mans shoe. I have a hunch they have only one last and it's based on a mans foot as even the heel fit is too big. So, I returned them and ordered the 8 because they don't do half sizes. When they arrived much, much later, they were too small. Hey,
Allbirds there is a reason shoes come in half sizes. Make half sizes duh! And double the amount of business. Also, San Francisco company but you ship from Tennessee? Another bad idea. Glad I'm not an investor in your company.
I had a pair of allbirds shoes for about two weeks. They were incredibly comfy and I was very satisfied with them. I ended up returning them because they were a bit too large since they do not offer half sizes. I decided to change up the direction I wanted to go with my style so I did not get another pair, but I wanted to leave a review because I had a wonderful experience wearing them and working to return them.
My only complaint is that they do not offer half sizes (8.5,9.5, etc.) 9.5 is my sweet spot and 10 left a little too much toe room. Otherwise, a great company that I would like to support with this review.
Waste of money. I bought these tree dashers two months ago and already have holes in the toes! Also the tread has worn badly. There is an obvious design flaw. These shoes are also not sustainable if you have to purchase new ones every few months. Will not buy from then again and will discourage anyone I know to do the same.
For the first time in my life, I buy shoes on line and it's the perfect fit and 100% comfortable even without socks on.
I pulled out of the box and my 6 year old son said: mum, they are sick! To mean, they are very cool!
I hope they really last longer.
Looks like I found a place to buy shoes from!

I ordered the shoes when they first came out. They have never been comfortable and they make my feet look like clown feet. I reached out to customer service and they said "sorry, we can't help you." So... I'm not impressed. They are expensive, uncomfortable shoes with bad customer service. Don't waste your money.
I found these shoes on an advertisement on Facebook. I couldn't wait to receive them and was very disappointed when I did. I ordered a size 9, in which I wear in every shoe, other than running and tennis shoes, but they were too small and sadly they don't make half sizes. I wish that I had read the reviews before purchasing. I ended up giving them to my daughter-in-law who wears an 8 1/2 and they fit perfectly.
I read so many good reviews and was excited to love this shoe, but they are definitely not worth the price. I ordered a size larger than what I normally wear, as recommended, and they are still uncomfortably small. I'm sure the toe will wear through soon. Unfortunately I missed the returns cut off by a day, emailed the company and heard nothing back. Just so disappointing, as a teacher I wouldn't normally spend this much on a shoe so I guess I've learned an expensive lesson not to trust reviews that are connected to ads!
I ordered a a pair of shoes for rush shipment to have for an upcoming trip. Phone rep entered my address in the wrong line and shoes were never sent out. Had I not called, I would have never known there was a problem. I asked if they could sent me the shoes overseas as I was leaving, but I was informed they do not have this capability. Nice shoes, too bad they do not run their company to a professional standard that is expected in 2017. Not worth the hassle.
After reading a lot about how great Allbirds athletic shoes were, I bought a pair. They looked great and after a bit they broke-in nicely. The problem was the tread. Within six months of walking a few miles a day, the sole on the right sneaker wore through. This is not acceptable. I then went back to my Asics, which had gone through a remarkable makeover while I was away. I could not be happier with the new Ascis. I gave Allbirds a chance and they failed me.
When it comes to waking, I'm a thumper when it comes to walking. I normally wear shoes that have very supportive soles (very commercial brands and nothing special). I was very excited to buy these shoes. Upon wearing them for one day as i would with my normal sneakers I woke up the next day with a throbbing foot. Unfortunately I had to rest my foot the next day. Interestingly enough I filled out their feedback form which they sent through email. It turns out they don't publish 1/5 stars only 5/5. Very very misleading.
Ordered two models (Savannah and Mizzles[strange name]) and both are well beyond expectations in terms of comfort. Light, airy and comfortable. Design is ok: the Mizzles model is a bit on the chunky side, while the Savannah gets stretched and distorted a bit after few wears. Even with that, I'd go with this shoes, as they are heaven for my feet. Ordering and shipping is a breeze, too.
I ordered a pair of shoes for spring/summer and went out of town. While away I noticed a new color which was more preferable and planned on exchanging them when I returned but found there was a 30 day limit. The shoes are new in the box, all I wanted was a different color but no exceptions. They will not help me at all
When I received the shoes they were too big, my dad had been sick so I did not take the time to return them because I was dealing with getting him well. When I finally had a day to get in touch with the company I had missed the return date by four days. Very bad customer service for the price for what you pay for their shoes. Lesson Learned. With everything going on in today's Covid they could at least extend their return policy.
I recently purchased an Allbirds Merino Wool Jumper. According to the care tag, it said to hand wash cold, DO NOT DRY CLEAN. Following those instructions, I hand washed the sweater and let it air dry. This shrunk the sweater to an unwearable size. When I contacted customer service, they informed me that they knew this was a quality control issue and that an entire batch of sweaters was incorrect, and the tag should have read: Dry Clean Only. However, because this was purchased through a third-party retailer, there is nothing they can do about this issue. I am out $140 due to a mistake on the company's part. The best they could offer was a $15 off coupon to order something else through their website. As they continue to expand their third-party sellers – buyers beware that they will not back the quality of their products through them.

I absolutely love the shoes and the extremely fast and courteous service. I have had nothing but positive experiences, and have bought six pairs for myself, family and friends. Exchanging a pair... we ordered the wrong size... was completely painless... thank you!
Allbirds shoes are anemically-made and dangerous to wear. Starting with the bottom soles, the treads cause slipping and sliding, with a propensity to cause hamstring and knee injuries. What little tread they do have is gone within a month. The midsoles absorb sweat and become sticky, smelly, heavy globs in weeks. The outer upper soles are as cheap and anemic as they come. You'll have holes at the toes before you know it. The only thing the shoes are good for is sitting down.
Tip for consumers:
Don't fall for the allbirds hype..They're cheaply made and dangerous to wear

Love these shoes. They are so comfy! I can wear them all day and my feet don't hurt. It's like wearing slippers. They look great and I can wear them without sock with no worries about foot odor. I haven't washed them yet but I've been so impressed I'm sure they'll do exactly as they claim.
