Bought a pair of wool runners a few months ago, and they're easily the most comfortable shoes I've ever owned. Usually wear them sockless or with no-show liners. They look great and I love that you can wash them. Would definitely recommend.
These shoes hurt my feet after wearing for 30 minutes. Tried several times thinking I just needed to get used to them, but each time my foot pain increased. Tried to return them but Allbird would not accept a return because I was 13 days outside their return window. The shoes were barely worn and in very good shape. The best they would do is offer a $10 credit for shoes I bought for $135. Expensive lesson.
Ordered a pair of Allbirds for the first time on Nov. 29th. Needed a half size larger. Allbirds refuses to exchange the shoes for a half size larger even though they have the shoe in stock. Consumer choice: keep shoes that are too small or return for a refund. Otherwise pay $20 more to get the correct size.
Terrible business practice. Refused to be highjacked by them, so return for refund.
Would have liked to try these shoes out and possibly be a long term customer.
I bought the Mizzles because our grass is almost always wet in the morning, and I need a shoe to keep my feet dry. The Mizzle is not that shoe. Whatever water-resistance material it uses is completely insufficient. These shoes soak right through and take forever to dry. Will never buy another pair much as I like the style.
I had the hardest time finding comfortable shoes because of RA and PF. I bought the Wool Runners and love them. I usually wear a size 9.5 - 10 so I ordered the 10 & they fit great. There was no breaking in period and they are soooo comfortable! I have since bought a pair for my daughter and a 2nd pair in another color for me. We travel a lot so I can't wait to wear them on our next trip. No more sneakers for me! I rarely leave reviews but thought I would for Allbirds since they are so comfortable :)
While I love all of my Allbirds, my recent experience with customer service was very disappointing. My trailrunners upper section by the toes wore out very quickly and when I inquired about it, I was told it was within normal wear and tear. I change shoes out frequently so am well aware of what's normal. I believe the weave was defective but I was not even offered a discount on a new pair of shoes.
Bought shoes after friend raved about them and I really wanted wool shoes. They are the lightest shoes I have ever owned and they keep my feet warm. I wear a size 8-8.5 and I had to return the first pair for a size nine. The return process was easy: print a mailing label, take it the post office and as soon as it is in the system they send the new pair of shoes. The size nine is snug heel to toe so these shoes run small. My main issue is I wear Superfeet orthotics and the heel upper is so short my foot slides out when walking - I feel like I will lose my shoe. I wear them but I won't buy another pair.
Been wearing a pair of allbird wool runners (about 50% of the time) for a year and a half now. I had never heard of them until my husband got them for me for my birthday, and then I was irritated because I didn't like the look of them and had wanted to pick out my own shoes (jerk, I know). Was planning to return them but I tried them on just so he wouldn't feel too bad, and then didn't want to take them off. After wearing them a week I had decided that I loved them. I can move my claustrophobic toes around with ease. The only downside to these is that now all my other shoes feel very rigid and constricting in comparison. I'm not sure why others on here have had such a negative experience, but wanted to share my good experience to counteract that. Came across these reviews while trying to decide what kind of allbirds to get for my next pair.
I bought a pair of Allbird Men's Wool Lounger Woven to wear around the house. My foot is an 8.5 and it was advised to size-up, so I bought size 9. Here is my feedback:
* shoes are painfully tight around the toes
* the insole may be wool but the exterior is nylon - their description was misleading
* the reply I recevied from Customer Support was essentially, we're sorry that you are dissatisfied and we will try harder next time. No solution of any sort. (NOTE: the shoes were on sale with a no return policy)
My feeling is WHAT NEXT TIME? There will be no next time. There are too many good shoes out there to gamble on a no name brand with poor customer service.
I will be dropping these shoes off at Goodwill this weekend.
I was looking for new sneakers that wouldn't end up being a waste of money if I didn't like them (as has happened in the past). Knowing I could return Allbirds no questions asked within thirty days, I went for it. I slid them on and they fit so perfectly you'd think they were made just for me, which has literally never happened in all the years I've tried on new shoes. They hug my feet but aren't so tight that my feet sweat or feel suffocated. The insoles are super comfortable, not too plush, but not completely unforgiving. It sounds cliche, but it's like "walking on a cloud"... they are actually the world's most comfortable shoe. So much so that my tree runners have essentially replaced all my other shoes at this point. I wear them every single day. The ONLY complaint I have is that the laces don't stay tied and need to be tightened pretty often.
I purchased a pair of the Wool Runner Mizzles May 2022. Shoes are clearly designed for little itty bitty feet, which is no surprise considering the company is located in Korea
I'll start with the cons:
1) They are very narrow - I do NOT have wide feet, have never worn "wide size" shoes or boots.
2) The tongue area of the shoe is extremely tight. So tight that the top of my feet hurt like hell. - I have undid & redid the laces a dozen times to no relief. After close examination, the tongue is actually stitched all the way to not allow flexibility (a cheap design found in knock off Nike shoes).
3) A $110 pair of shoes is pretty steep.
Pros:
1) They are light in weight.
2) They look nifty.
3) I fit in with the CNN crowd.
Tip for consumers:
Seriously, don't buy a shoe from them. Go to a brick and mortar store and try on shoes, because these things are VERY uncomfortable (actually painful). - My old under armor shoes were worn out and i opted to try a new brand based on paid-for-reviews.

Purchased ALL Bird Men's Wool Runner Mizzles on sale.
The shoe laces are only 42 inch long, correct size is 48min long
Tried to return back but was told the following via e mail.
""we're sorry to hear about those laces! Because these shoes were a part of a special discounted program and final sale, we, unfortunately, aren't able to provide a return or an exchange due to limited supply. We hope you understand. We hope to have a better solution in the future and are always looking to add to our product selections. If you're at all interested, there are some single laces sold on Etsy. We're big fans of supporting small businesses!
When I placed the order, it did not say final sale or non returnable.
Since All Bird has expanded there customer service has been reduced to "CUSTOMER BE AWARE'
I have shoes, underwear and socks from AllBirds. Love it! The shoes are very comfortable, the underwear - like your second skin. I, my partner and our friends never had any issue with AllBird's products. My favourite brand

I had read some articles about these shoes. Good reviews, recommended also for Plantar Fasciitis so I bought one pair to give it a try but I founf out It's just a regular shoes like any other shoes. For 145 euro i was expecting little bit extra ( like piece of gold! Lol :P) but you know what i mean? What i don't like about it is that with in 3 months of purchasing, the shoes has these small fuzz balls (i don't know exactly what it called). But, yes these shoes are light weighted which is plus point.
I had a pair of Breezers for a couple of months' light wear and there is a hole in one toe. For the price you pay, the quality and durability is just not there. Material actually unraveling. I do not recommend.

I was hoping to wear these shoes to a trade show. Unfortunately the shoes were too small even though I sized up after reading the reviews. They sold out of the shoes and I could only go pick them up in the San Francisco store (side bar - how are you sold out if your retail store sells them?). They offered to put them aside for me but I couldn't get to the store. I sent an email asking them to ship them to me. Three days later I get an email they don't have them any longer and wouldn't ship. There is no way to call the retail store. End result = zero shoes for me and dissatisfied customer.
I've owned allbirds since the early days. I LOVE my first pair but have bought two pairs since and the one I got most recently is materially lower/cheaper quality. Most recently, they re-released a special edition pair and, in spite of the cheaper materials, I had loved the color and decided to buy them. I added them to my cart in the size I wanted and went through the full checkout/payment process. As it loaded to finalize the transaction, the whole page seemingly crashed and sent me back home. When I went to start over, they were now listed as sold out. I called the phone help center and explained the situatio. While they weren't rude at all, they basically just told me I was $#*! out of luck and to buy a different pair. All in all, I think the era of buying allbirds is over for me
I have ordered these and shipped internationally, I wish I have read all the reviews here... because return shipping fee was for me very high, so I had to leave the treetop allbirds... and I wasn't happy with thrm. They are extremely hot shoes, my legs swell in those because of heating they make, I can't wear them if it is not chilly outside. My husband got wool allbirds and he is comfortable in them only when it is cold. These shoes are not thermo regulating, not at all. For comfort: sizing is strange, I went size down as recommended and they are still large for me. Also, I took white colour and it is actually not white, but greyish white. I think this company is not honest in its advertisement...
After just 6 wears already forming holes in socks. Do not buy anything from this company. Just garbage materials. They think that they are special. What a bunch of crap. You're Walmart.
I bought the women's tree runners in jet black, size 7. The website is very simple and easy to use and they seem to have a lot of different color options as well. The only downside with my shopping experience is that since these particular shoes are popular, my order went to a backorder line, and so they arrived after 2 1/2 weeks of waiting. However, the shipping is free so I don't mind that much.
The quality of these shoes is great. I tested them first at home, and I noticed that after wearing them all day, I almost preferred to keep them on because they were so soft on the inside with the wool lining doing a good job at keeping my feet warm. I then tested these by taking a 2 hour long walk through central park and these were very comfortable and easy to walk in. The only downside with regards to quality is that the shoe laces will eventually loosen, so I had to double knot them to prevent that from happening.
As for sizing, I am in between a 6 1/2 and a 7 in shoe sizes, and these shoes fit me perfectly. If you are a half size, I definitely recommend sizing up, because I feel like these shoes run a little small. There isn't an option for half sizes anyways. These shoes may feel tighter for people with wide feet like mine, but it isn't uncomfortable to me.
Overall, I think Allbirds has done a great job at providing ethically made and comfortable, yet stylish shoes. I'll definitely be using these for my longer walks around NYC.
I wore the wool runners for a 15min walk around the block to test them and after a few minutes I felt the blisters forming. I now have two on the back of my ankles that are red and painful. The shoes rubbed which is likely the cluprit. My fiance wore his and could not handle how hot they were to wear. He also felt blisters forming but was lucky enough to avoid them. We will be returning and not buying again. They were comfortable in the sole but blisters and intense heat are a no go for us. The blisters will be likely to form again due to the height of the back of the shoe and the rubbing.
Allbirds low hide socks constantly fall off the heel of my feet. Because my Allbird sneakers are slip-ons and not tight, my sneakers are a slight bit loose the way I prefer them, but this slight slip of shoe pushes the low hide socks off my heel, which is soooooo annoying!

These are not even close to being the most comfortable shoe I've ever worn. In less than 5 steps I could feel the back of the shoes grating on my heels. By the end of the day I had 2 blisters on the heels. The tip of my toes and the top of my foot (the tarsal-metatarsal joints) were extremely sore. I wear a size 8 in everything except my running shoes where I wear an 8.5. My past 2 pair of shoes were Danskos and Sauconys... those I wore for 12 hrs right off the bat with no problems whatsoever. Thankfully Allbirds has a 30 day return policy.
Love my All Birds- but after 3 months my toes go through- I have 4 pairs and it's the same problem with all of them. It is too bad because they are so comfortable.
First ordered a pair--put on: hmm, felt kinda funny, but thought "we'll see." Forgot I had them on about five minutes later. Five hours later still on, happiest feet; literally fell asleep with them on. Purchaser MUST try each pair. Have had to return two green and two blue; the first and fourth ordered pairs of blue are heavenly, second and third did not feel comfortable, but it's worth trying to get the right one because pair can be returned for free within 30 days, and when they work, Heaven! Newly-developed bunions, arthritis, and foot surgeries have made it almost impossible to find comfortable shoes that I can wear all day, including walking or hiking on uneven surfaces, but these Allbirds wool runners are, quite literally, better than the doctor ordered at three times the price. When I see a color I like that likely will not stay long in production, I try it out. Have kept ten of fourteen ordered pairs within the last year. Worth every penny with time to try for 30 days, even to return and reorder when one doesn't quite fit my foot (usually the left foot) comfortably. Customer service via email has been very polite. Return/reorder on-line has been simple with phone and laptop both needed for printing the return mailing. Have met others overseas and in the US who smile, then point to my and their shoes, saying "Allbirds? We should start a fan club." Yup.
This product has been delivering on all fronts since I got them a little over a month ago. As a college student I walk a lot and need a shoe that was up for the task. Not only do these shoes look better than most running shoes but, they are also very comfortable.
Since the top section of the shoe is made from wool the runners can breathe very well. To the point where I can wear them without sock and know that they will air out just fine. The use of this material also means that during the winter months my feet tend to be quite warm.
The sole of the product is made of a firm yet soft rubber. In the past I have had issues of foot cramps due to standing or walking for to long. However, the rubber in the wool runner is soft enough to support my feet. But it is firm enough to make sure you don't feel like you are sinking when you take a step. When it comes to traction some work could be done to improve this aspect. Due to its shallow groves it is hard to get footing when there is snow or mud on the ground. But this not a big issue since you will more than likely wear boots when there is a lot of snow.
When ordering the all birds they only come in whole sizes. So make sure that you order a size up if you are a half size. I am a 10.5 and ordered size 11, and they fit perfectly.
Overall these shoes are great for any active person who doesn't want to look like they are wearing athletic shoes.
The world's most comfortable shoes, made naturally --- Using materials like merino wool and eucalyptus tree fiber, Allbirds has created the comfiest shoes on the planet.
