I was impatient!

I bought a dehumidifier from allergybuyersclub... waited impatiently for reunds.on charge card,, I got pretty upset... until, finally it arrived after 7 days! They said it could take 3 to 7 days but I really couldn't understand why it would take that long. HOORAY... IT ARRIVED AND ALL IS GOOD! The customer service rep, Barbara, was really nice.

11/24/2018 I placed order over the phone w/Kyle the manager. Provided credit card and set up a shipping date 16 days out.
When it didn't arrive around the time frame discussed, I did an online chat w/the customer service and they could not help. I emailed Kyle 2-3 times over a 3 week period and no reply. I called customer service and left the sales rep 1-2 voice mail message and no return call.
I called 1/4/2019 and the customer service rep was rude, unhelpful and told me they don't have the unit anymore and would not offer me a discount on a comparable unit to fit the same price I previously agreed and provided the credit card to pay for. The sales girl said the mgr was busy in a meeting as this was the start of their busy season and they had to learn about the new units. How rude that he would not come to the phone or return my emails/calls.
Don't buy anything from Allergy Buyers Club.com They don't manage inventory, they do provide the worst customer experience you'll every have! I'm buying from "Moisture Medic" now.

I have had a HORRIBLE experience with this company! The most unprofessional, uncaring customer service that I have ever encountered. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and reporting them. Was told that the unit I paid for would be shipped on a certain date and they not only did not ship, they admitted they made a mistake, and refused to expedite shipping. It has been an EXTREMELY STRESSFUL EXPERIENCE! I WOULD NEVER ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY AGAIN!

If anything should go wrong with your order, if you require any assistance, if you want to return an item, be prepared to be ignored and have to take the situation up with your own credit card company.

I went with this site because the product I wanted was $100 cheaper than the competitor. But if I knew what I knew now, I would gladly pay the extra to avoid all this hassle. Save yourself the trouble (and money) and just order directly from the manufacturer, this distribution site is a mess.

I placed an order, which I cancelled (via online chat, email and phone call) days after. In spite of my cancellation, the order was shipped and left at my home.
I have requested a return shipping label and refund via online chat, email and phone call, each time I have been told that I will receive an email with instructions about how to complete the return, but the email (or any form of communication) never came.

My experience with Allergy Buyers Club has been more painful than watching someone put my hard earned dollar bills through a paper shredder.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. They will make you Pay for return shipping EVEN IF YOU ARE EXCHANGING a unit. Terrible, terrible. I told them explicitly if this is your process it needs to be clearly marked on the website as such and there is NO MENTION OF THIS COST ON THE WEBSITE. They are terrible. Do not purchase from them, ever.

Shameful business

"I purchased 2 extremely expensive replacement filters for my IQ Air system. They promised fast shipping. My debit card was charged immediately; however after 3 weeks of no correspondence or shipping notification, I started trying to contact them. You get a run around, the customer service number is for sales only and will not address concerns. For two weeks I demanded that my order be cancelled so I could buy the filters from a reputable company. Our air system had been down now for a month. They refused to cancel. I started getting form letters via email saying the filters had shipped and would arrive by the end of the week. By Friday, no filters. I again demanded a refund. They refused and said the filters would arrive by the end of the next week. Finally, after nearly 5 weeks, they arrived. I will NEVER purchase from this shameful company again. I shouldn't have to beg for a product I paid for. They lie to you and refuse to cancel orders that are unsatisfactory. I wish I had read the reviews before placing my order. This company has a terrible reputation."

I am the president and founder of AllergyBuyersClub.com. First of all let me apologize for the lack of what has been historically exemplary customer service over the 15 years we have been in business. I ask for your patience, compassion and understanding as I explain. While my husband was dying of brain cancer over 2.4 years and I was watching the man I loved turn into a vegetable, my CFO "misrepresented" my financials. After these irregularities were discovered, I emptied my entire life savings to prop up the company. A month later, my own stage 3 B aggressive breast cancer was discovered and during 2014 I hired a professional manager to run the company while I battled for my life and am still doing so. The interim President made things much worse. So I sold the company to a much larger company who are in the health and wellness field. They are investing in the company and putting us back on track again, helping us grow and serve our customers once more with the attention and integrity that they deserve.
Once again my sincerest apologies and having heard it I hope you will forgive us and take down your negative review.

I called up to order a particular machine and they convinced me to buy a different one
I expressed t was for allergies and asthma and they ended up sending me a machine for VOCs
My symptoms got worse and I made several calls to them and they told me to keep running it at different speeds
I wanted to return it and because they never alerted me to the fact that I needed to return it in a certain period of time and they convinced me to keep it longer they said the time expired
My allergy symptoms were getting worse by the day allergy buyers club refused to take the machine back
I called the company Air Pura and they informed me that it was for VOCs and allergy buyers club tried to convince me that the owners of the company who make the machine were lying to me!
This is one of the worst companies I've ever had to deal with They are rude and disrespectful they have no proper education on what they are selling And they are dishonest with their customers.
Air Pura Requested all of the correspondence because they considered taking it back and allergy buyers club did not send it to them and lied to me about getting that request as well.

I purchased a Fral dehumidifier model FDK70 in Oct of 2016. It failed in July of 2017 so I called the Fral company who acknowledged that this was a familiar problem with the FDK70. Later I received an E-mail from Allergy Buyers Club and was told to return the dehumidifier to them in its original container (who keeps this stuff). Anyway took the measurements 20X24X16 and weight 110lbs to UPS who said it would cost appx. $186.00 to ship it. So I called Allergy Buyers Club and made 2 suggestions, (1) contact a local refrigeration person to repair or (2) since I am about 70 miles from Bristol, could I personally deliver it. The response to both suggestions was no. So I guess the problem now is mine. Should I pay to have it repaired and hope it doesn't fail again, or eat the $1,000.00 that I paid for the item initially. Don't do business with these people.

Update: After this review was seen by an employee I was called and told a UPS pick up could be arranged as long as I pay for the shipping.

I was cool with that. I was then asked to take this review down!

Ok. Whatevs, lets see how this goes...

UPS comes with the label for just the humidifier, not the second box of filters.

I like my UPS guy, he knows Im chronically ill and cant really leave the house much so we arrange a way for him to get the second package after Allergy Buyers Club sends him the label info, without him having to disturb me.

I got a phone call from ABC about my return, I then informed the rep that only one label was sent. She seemed frustrated (I know, sending return labels in retail online sales IS like turning water into wine!)

So a day or two later UPS guy gets the second box.

Then I wait. The boxes were mailed out 1/24, nothing from ABC. I look at my credit card no refund.

I phone them once again (4th or 5th phone call Ive lost count)... I have to explain everything again to the new rep and she asks if I just refused the package? No, I didnt open it but wanted to send it back because my husband bought me one for the holidays.

After a few minutes on hold, I was told my return was processed and should be credited to my account in 2-3 business days.

Its not there yet, Im still waiting.

Ive bought rom them in the past. This time, I needed to return an item and they dont provide labels, instructions! You have to figure out the cheapest way of returning the unwanted item by schelping it to and fro. I am disabled and cannot drive.

I was planning on purchasing a $1500 whole house dehumidifier from them in the near future but now will buy it from ANYONE else.
