On delivery the machine came in a crate with no instructions how to remove, it needs 2/3 people to lift it off, then you have to assemble! On youtube the videos end before he takes it off! The manaul says it needs oil, it has oil! After that it would not start, Cdiscount agreed to take it back, mind you they asked me to put it back in the crate! Before they arrived I managed to start it. The manual is terrible so I had to ask online, Youtube about some features because the information for service given on the website is history, I actually went to 1 company, they had been gone over 6 months, another refused to come. One problem was the small red button on left of dashboard, the other how to operate the handbrake. I was told the red button was for enabling reverse without engine stopping. I still don't understand the brake, your manual is not good at all. I used the machine 2 times before trying the button. I pressed the button and was able to use reverse OK BUT when I tried going forward the engine cutout. Since then it is dead. It would be nice to have some help from Alpina, none of the Youtube videos help because you just unwrap and even then don't indicate how to get it off the wooden base?
When it was running 1 time I put it in gear but it remained stationary then lurched forward like a bucking bronco.
I have owned 4 different ride-on mowers, THIS IS TO BE AVOIDED AT ALL COSTS.
