Started with business shared hosting, after one and a half year we have our VPS. Happy to have them.
Altushost does not protect customer's data. When you sign up as a customer you have to provide alot of personal data. Their cPanel has the feature to enable Privacy. Apparently it does not work and your personal information can be exposed/compromised over the Internet on websites like https://who.is/whois
I've been using AltusHost for two years now, and during that time they've had excellent uptime track record, and all issues have been promptly addressed by their customer service.
