I had exchanged a few Starbucks gift cards to them through the site where cardcash partners with amazon at https://amazon.cardcash.com, received the best offer of any online exchange service- $ 7 better than cardcash pays with amazon gc on their own site. I was paid the next day without any problems. There was a limit of how many cards would be accepted within a month and not having read the small print, I submitted too many cards so four of them were rejected. I immediately redeemed the amazon gc codes without any problems. If you are selling Starbucks cards, I would keep them registered under an account that has no credit card linked for reloading and preferably in Gold status with minimal available stars. This is why:
First, if anyone claims that after they had bough your card it was used by you, spending history on a registered card will show where it was used. Of course, you should be honest and not spend anything on that card - just keep it registered for a couple of months just to be safe.
Second, whoever buys your cards will earn star rewards for you when they use the funds(cardcash informs people that they are will not be able to register these second hand cards with their own rewards accounts). But keep an eye out and use your rewards as soon as you can. The new owner may not be aware that his card is registered to an account and has available free rewards, but the barista may see that info and let them know.
