I originally ordered blinds in a ruby color. After a month long delay I inquired about the delay. I was informed they were out of stock and it could be another month. I cancelled it and switched to another color which arrived in a timely manner and look fine. I was disappointed I was not informed of the delay until I was the one who had to make the inquiry. You should be more proactive in letting your customer know what is happening. I am otherwise very satisfied with blinds I have now received.
I paid for blinds 21/2 months ago. I still no idea when they will be here. Tracking shows Fed Ex has not received the product, only a label. Finally got through to a person, who admitted that the "American blinds" were order in China and they must still be on a boat. I have no idea when the will ever come. Maybe next year?
American Blinds has high quality products and my recent customer service experience has been a 10 (on a scale of 1 to 10). The reps were delightful to deal with. With a lot of companies, customer service seems to be a thing of the past. All those companies should take lessons from American Blinds. I've bought several pleated shades from American Blinds over the last 20 years and will continue to do so. Thanks to American Blinds for a great experience.
Received our blinds on 5/9/20 and found they were all cut 3/8" shorter than what we ordered. Have been trying to get help from American Blind for 3 weeks now. Finally to day 5/26/20 I was able to chat with them and was informed they automatic make the blind shorter than what you want. If you order blinds from them and you want them to fit the inside of window order them long and hope they cut off the correct amount so they will fit the window opening.

Original order in May arrived in June. 8 of 10 blinds to narrow for the windows. Fix: Reorder at BOGO. Donate original blinds to whatever. Not a problem since we OWN THEM. After one month of expedited and TWO shipping updates. We are notified the reorder doesnt exist because the blinds are no longer available for purchase. When asked how the were supposed to be shipping "tomorrow " for two consecutive weeks, silence and an apology. When contacted about a new replacement order we were expected to pay any difference for the house brand when we ordered name brand. When asked about compensation..."will call" you tomorrow". No call, but the day after we get an email refunding our money for only the replacement order in 5 to 7 days. 3 months, two separate orders, TWO PAYMENTS, we have 7 useless blinds and a refund in a week. Customer Service was pathetic. Do not bother wasting your time with American Blinds.

I am very pleased with the blinds I bought from American Blinds. As well as having a good selection of quality blinds at reasonable prices, the website is easy to navigate, ordering sizes and accessories is very easy, and delivery is swift and secure. I ordered nearly $1000 worth of blinds. Received as promised and all but one of the blinds worked and fit well. However, one blind had a non working tilt mechanism. I called and was told a replacement blind would be sent out. Instead I received a replacement tilt mechanism in an envelope with no instructions. I contacted American Blinds and was told that the factory would not send a replacement blind because it was easy to replace the tilt mechanism. I might agree if it failed after using it for a period of time. But a new blind that doesn't work should be replaced with a blind that does work. Worse there were not even any instructions included with the replacement part. I know I could replace it, but I just don't think I should have to.
Great place for quality blinds and service. I know that there are issues with metal products and that's what delayed delivery, but you know what there are worse events going on in the world and we did eventually receive our blinds and I know that American Blinds did the best they could under the circumstances as they always have in the past and so thank you.
I have purchased blinds and shades from American Blinds multiple times. Every experience has been positive. Their customer service is very helpful. The directions and mounting of shades and blinds are easy. I would definitely recommend American Blinds to anyone.

The Roman Shade I purchased and received was the wrong style, color and material. It wasn't easy to contact customer service either. Once I emailed their "SocialCare" rep and wrote a review on sitejabber, however, I got a timely and satisfactory resolution to my concerns. I was very pleased to finally have contact with the right rep and that they were apologetic and extremely helpful. This is the second home's window treatments ordered from American Blinds. They were Bali NeatPleat and Bali Honeycomb. I have never had one bit of problem with American Blinds. They get the order correct every time and the production/shipping time is superfast! I recently purchased 4 light filtering roller shades and the only issue I had, and it was a minor one, was that I don't remember seeing if the hardware was included with the purchase of the shades. I certainly may have missed it but, it was something I just assumed (and hoped was included, which it was). Again, I probably missed it but, if so, maybe it needs to be more prominently displayed.
I have made multiple, very satisfactory purchases from American Blinds, and I have and will continue to tell friends and family about the company and the great service.
I placed an order for wallpaper and then found out I would need to leave the state before it was delivered. I contacted the company before it was shipped and asked that it be held until I returned. The CS took an adversarial attitude and told me they would ship it anyway. I said I wanted to cancel the order and they said I had to do it in 24 hours; I had. I filed a claim with Paypal and American Blind's answer was to speed up the shipping. So much for the claim on their website of '100% satisfaction guaranteed'.
Someday I'm going to learn to believe the reviews I see online and avoid companies like this like the plague.
We ordered multiple blinds from here and where planning on buying several more until from this site until now. One out of the multiple blinds we ordered came too short and they refused to replace the blind after contacting multiple times explaining the situation.
I was very happy with the wallpaper and border I bought. The room turned out beautifully. I was worried about the accuracy of the colors on the website pictures, since the wallpaper and border were on separate pages, and I had to hope they’d go well together. I really love your huge selection. I was able to achieve the bright, cheerful look I imagined. Very, very satisfied.

The factory will then take a small, inside mount deduction from this measurement to ensure the blinds fit inside the frame.
