I originally ordered blinds in a ruby color. After a month long delay I inquired about the delay. I was informed they were out of stock and it could be another month. I cancelled it and switched to another color which arrived in a timely manner and look fine. I was disappointed I was not informed of the delay until I was the one who had to make the inquiry. You should be more proactive in letting your customer know what is happening. I am otherwise very satisfied with blinds I have now received.
I paid for blinds 21/2 months ago. I still no idea when they will be here. Tracking shows Fed Ex has not received the product, only a label. Finally got through to a person, who admitted that the "American blinds" were order in China and they must still be on a boat. I have no idea when the will ever come. Maybe next year?
They have all the window dressing and or blinds that you can possibly want. Many different types and colors.
They're beautiful seems to be a very sturdy material mine are premium composite. The fit was perfect. Very easy to install. We ordered 5 and it took about 3 hours total, we ARE NOT professionals. I ordered from the web page and of course they advertise 4-6 weeks for production and delivery, mine was 8 weeks nearly to the day. I didn't know that they are NOT all made in the USA since they're called "American Blinds". But when I called to inquire about the delivery I was told they have multiple providers and some from other countries. Once they port in the USA it's still two weeks away from delivery.

Love your selections and prices are more reasonable than other retailers. However, our Zebra Blind was missing one end cap. Called to get one sent...wrong one was sent. Made another call and finally received the proper end cap. Bit of a hassle with the phone calls and having to take the blind down to put the end cap on that should have been there to begin with. Still pleased with the blind/shade and the fact that it cost much less than other retailers.

Easy to choose what I need from a great selection (and free samples of blind types and tape colors) and great prices! I am a repeat customer now for over 20 years! Every room in my house has American Blinds of various colors and sizes. I would never go anywhere else. Blinds that I have purchased 20 years ago are still perfect.
Blinds look nice. Only visual issue is with vertical blind header and rails color not matching the blind color. Also, installation was a challenge.
Help desk was very informative and provided videos.
So easy to order online and so many color and style options. I had a question about vertical blinds for a slider and the customer service agent was so helpful! Blinds arrived before expectied and were perfect fit!
Ordered a large shipment of 13 blinds for a client. Blinds shipped from Korea thru DHL. First delivery of 3 blinds arrived "almost"on time. Remaining came in 4 separate shipments, the last more than a week later. Quality and price were fine (although one was incorrectly sized) but client was unhappy because they had to live without window treatments for so long. I decided to give them a second chance and ordered 4 "quick ship" blinds, due to ship 11/29 for delivery by 12/6. As of today, 12/5, they have not shipped. I will not use again.

Pull cord failed shortly after purchase. 4, two foot wide by 6 foot tall blinds were ordered at just under $600! Company did not honor their posted satisfaction guarantee (shown below). Spend your money somewhere else. I was told to sell the blinds to someone else? How is that a useful suggestion? Called for help twice (they are not able to take emails because there is too much volume... there's a clue), clerks were distant and un-helpful. What modern company can't have an email interface... one that wants nothing in writing perhaps.

I purchased 2 outside mount blinds. When I received them, I noticed that the top of the blind is not enclosed as it shows in the attached picture from their website. I am concerned with dust that over time they will not work as expected because the mechanism is exposed. I called customer service and after numerous calls/emails waiting for a response, they finally said that that's how they come and I would need to purchase an additional valance. I purchased 25 blinds and asking to spend more money on an item that apparently is being misrepresented is just wrong and bad customer service.

Personally worked with a sales rep to place our second order from American Blinds. The sales person told me exactly how to measure the windows to ensure the correct measurements. When we finally received the window treatments, 5 in total, two of the were the incorrect size. When I called customer service, they said it was my fault for not correcting the sales persons mistake in 24 hours. Now after having the window treatments (first order was 8 items, second was 5 items) for several months, they are very poor quality. Overall, I wish I had ordered from another company.

I have ordered 14 blinds all together in the past 2 years and this past order I had ordered two different blinds. The one blind that was sent was smaller than what I had purchased after following all the correct steps in Order to measure. Mind you this isn't my first time measuring for these blinds. I called customer service because things happen. I talked with Felicia who was completely rude and decided to have an attitude with me after explaining the situation. You have lost all business from our family and homes to come. Huge lost. Sad that a customer service representative is making your company look bad.

This used to be a good company. I purchased multiple window coverings here over the years and was always pleased by the quality and customer service. So when I needed to replace some old blinds, I did not hesitate to order them from American Blinds. What a mistake! The sent the order without the hardware needed to install the blinds. After weeks of emails and phone calls, they finally sent the hardware. Then we put up the blinds only to realize that the wand and cords were much too short for the length of the blinds. In the past this would have been covered by their product guarantee. But now the "guarantee" only lasts for 30 days, the time of which has now transpired, due to the company's lack of response regarding the missing brackets. While confirming today that I did not miss an option to order longer cords, I notice this product is now deeply discounted. There's a reason for this. Avoid at all costs.

I ordered 4 windows worth of blinds, 3 of the 4 were perfect but one arrived with the height and width reversed. I spoke with a representative and they don't offer returns/refunds for size problems unless it was "designed". At no point in the ordering process was this made clear. I am not sure where the mistake was made but a refund minus shipping and handling would have been reasonable.

We tried to order 5 cellular blinds on the American Blinds website. Good price, just over $700. When it came to pay it would not accept a billing address different from the shipping address. We tried with 2 different credit cards. Just came back with an "invalid request" error. Called customer service. On hold about 10 min. They said they didn't deal with website issues and forwarded the call to design consultant. On hold another 10 min. At that point we gave up and ordered the blinds on Lowes website. Success.

I ordered 2 blinds, custom made. Payment cleared my card 2 days after purchase. A week after I ordered them, I got notification that they had shipped. When I noticed that there was no update for shipment 3-4 days later I reached out to customer service and found out that the blinds are manufactured in, get this, Mexico. This was confirmed by 2 other agents when I called for updates a couple days after the estimated delivery and there still wasn't movement. As of this post, its FINALLY updated with new tracking information but 3.5 weeks AFTER I placed the order and 3 weeks after they've had my payment. I won't be using them as I prefer American Made products. Just because it says American doesn't mean its manufactured in America in this case.

I own a home in Belize and purchased all of my interior blinds from this company. They were on the expensive side, but all in all a great product. Then I decided to purchase the exterior blinds. They arrived and I loved them as much as the interior ones. However, after about 3 months, the stainless steel ball chains started rusting. I would do my best to clean them every time I used them to try to keep the rust off. After 6 months the chains broke on all three shades. I called customer service, they were very nice and ordered me new chains. However, I called again and asked what else I could do, as I did not want to have to replace the chains every 6 months. Considering the three shades cost me over $4,000 and are sold as outdoor shades, one would think they would have something better than a chain that would only last three months. They had no alternative. So I warn anyone that wants to purchase outdoor roller shades, be CAUTIOUS! The chains will rust and be unusable
We ordered two outdoor solar shades for our porch. One arrived perfectly and we set it up right away - so far we are very happy with it! The other arrived damaged in transit - the large metal pole was bent at about a 30 degree angle making it impossible to hang up. I called customer service and within minutes they had a replacement being sent out way.
