To be honest, I've never been into the whole online dating thing, but after being single for quite a while I gave it a go, just out of curiousity. I was sceptical at first, but once I started using it I've had no complaints about it - the women I've chatted with on here so far seem friendly and sincere, no scammers detected. These advantages have to be paid for, sure, and I guess most of the negative reviews I've seen come from those who can't afford paying the fees. For me, amolatina is a good option to try to broaden my outlook, explore cultural differences and find a penpal or even start a relationship - I often go to Eastern Europe on business and I can meet up no problem. Anyway, good luck to me in exploring the site further and good luck to those who haven't found a proper match yet.

I spoke with my bank today about fraudulent charges from these web sites (amolatina.com; anastasiadate.com; asiandate.com). There were a handful of unauthorized charges which, fortunately, the bank stopped since they appeared fraudulent.

I did authorize a payment of $2.99 to each site based on a special they were having, but there were additional charges at later dates which I did not authorize.

There's no greater target of fraud, it seems, than men who are simply looking to connect with someone special.

UPDATE (2-10-16): I tried using a visa gift card to limit potential overcharges. I authorized a payment of $9.99. I then opened about 3 letters and tried to respond to one. When I tried to send it, it said I needed more credits. I tried to authorize a second payment (foolishly) only to find out the gift card, which started with $30, only had a bit under $5 left on it. Furthermore, after signing up, the seemingly endless attempts by women to contact me via live chat stopped almost instantly.

I also was contacted by someone on this site who claims to be from Anastasiadate who requested my member ID number and was threatening to remove my comment here if I didn't provide it to him. I provided my number to him, but I strongly recommend staying away from these sites.

No problems in performance. Everything is neat and clear, especially navigation. I love my profile page, its menu its well-organized so that I dont get lost in it.

Absolutely horrible site just like anastasiadate.com-I deleted letters from my inbox one time and put them in my deleted folder because the letters were getting a bit too overwhelming. I put these letters there on a temporary basis alone intending to check them out later and did NOT erase these letters-they were only just moved to this folder from my inbox

When I went back the following day and I check the deleted folder I find out that these letters are completely erased!

So I talk to the customer service and they ask me if I know the ID numbers for the letters I did not save any ID numbers? How in the world was I supposed to know that they would get deleted in the first place?

I tell the customer service to never, ever, ever in their life touch my letters in that deleted folder ever again!

See how horrible this site is! They end up doing things without your expression permission and for my money they don't deserve any stars-zero stars is the best rating to give anastasiadate.com and its affiliate amolatina.com!

Yes a lot depends on luck. But obviously on your self and profile. What your looking for And people are on site who you both see interested in each other's points of view and look ok.

I am a little bit different than most of you guys. I am Colombian myself and looking for a lady in my own country. So I was trying it through amolatina. I had a very nice chat with two ladies. They were shocked that I wasn't a gringo, but they really enjoyed that they could talk to a paisano. I dont know if I was talking to a 'translater', but I mentioned a few very specific things about my city in Colombia and also I talked Colombian slang, and it seemed this girls were real. Unfortunately they didnt want to give me their emails 'yet', they admitted this would get them "fired". But I know I could probably offer them a lot more then what they get from "amolatina". I prefer givin the money to the girls than to amolatina. So next time I talk to the girl I gonna propose exchanging numbers and I'll say I'll pay her twice what amolatina pays her, so she shouldnt be worried about losing her "job" (yeah "job".)
