Initially we had a problem with our reservation. When we booked, the site said that we could cancel anytime before February. Chatting with their support was like talking to a brick wall. Only once I got on the phone with someone did they take care of me the way I expected. I only gave them four stars because of the hassle in getting things figured out. But talking to the right person at Amoma got things resolved very quickly, with a great outcome.
I made a reservation through amoma for the grand pasha hotel in Kyrenia. However, after paying the money, I noticed that amoma received more than 170 TL from me. No matter how much I corresponded, they didn't care. Never shop from this site. They don't care about any customers after they get the Money. VERY BAD Rezervation number: 57479465
As a 1st time user, I was nervous to use a site I've never heard of, especially one with markedly cheaper hotel pricing. I'm glad I took the chance! I've saved a bundle on our Vegas hotel (Expedia wouldn't price match) and will definitely book with Amoma again!
I found booking with AMOMA very quick & easy with the best price possible around. All paid upfront so check in on arrival was immediate. I had printed out my voucher but it was not needed as the hotel had all the necessary details, they just needed my name. To my surprise breakfast was also included in the deal which was excellent.
I booked a room for 3 nights. The hotel staff without exception were brilliant! They were very pleasant, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. The room was very comfortable and clean.
The breakfast menu was buffet style &varied but not always quite hot enough! Food to order always hot. I would recommend this hotel, just around the corner from the Cavern!
I booked Apollo Museumhotel Amsterdam for one night (for 141 euro), this is small hotel with a good location in the central, however the room we got was on the second floor without a lift only a narrow steep stair where one person will hard squeeze into, without saying if you are with a luggage. Go down this stair even harder than climb you catch yourself thinking that now you will break your neck. Of course there was any word that the booked room is without a lift in the description on the site. We were lucky because we only climbed one floor, but after ours there was another one or two floors. We are young couple and it was our last day in Amsterdam so we didn't make a noise from this, the staff did not even offer assistance with luggage.

Serious family circumstance prevented my travel to Wash DC. Was not aware of AMOMA no refund policy when booking. I called Hilton Garden Inn to tell them I could not make the trip and they were very appreciative. AMOMA kept my money in total and I cannot complete Christmas shopping due to this. Very sad way for the Swiss to operate a business. They need to post no cancellation policy up front before booking. My feeling is they are a predator business and unfairly profits from folks that can least afford the loss. If they would refund my money, it would change my families holiday season dramatically for the better, but I am not holding my breath. Do the right thing AMOMA and be fair to your customers and redeem yourself and your standing as a major booking competitor. You will feel and sleep better for it. And your own families will be proud of the way you make a living and run a business.

If your satnav doesn't work, the place is tricky to find, set back off the road in a long courtyard.be sure to arrive before 11.00 p.m. after that time the receptionist goes home and though there's an emergency number if your mobile isn't working you have a problem. NumberifThe rooms are clean and comfortable with adequately equipped kitchenette. There is a tram three minutes walk away that takes you to the centre in 10 minutes.
The employees were really helpful and the room clean.
Good Breakfast as well.
The Japanese restaurant downstairs was great too.
If you're attending a conference at the nearby Sheraton it's a good and cheaper alternative.
Don't hesitate to order a taxi for the airport from the reception desk the price is fixed this will avoid you to be cheated on by an indelicate taximan.
I booked a hotel for a very popular time in Washington, DC. It was a prepaid, guaranteed rate. 2 months after booking, I was contacted by aroma.com saying they couldn't honor my reservation at that facility and there no other facilities available.
I now must pay a rate that is $300 higher, per night, because they failed to honor their commitment.
I made a reservation and tried to cancel it with 30 days before when I hit the cancel button this company charges $60 to cancel. This was not what was said on the original cancellation policy only pops up when you log into their site and press cancel reservations. When I called them to complain the rep said sorry and do what ever I needed to do have a nice day. Very bad and poor customer service
Had wonderful stay with my wife and oldest Grandson. Sam lots of sites and always pleased with our hotel accommodations, treatment by the staff and the amenities. The restaurant was excellent. The location was perfect for us and Mexico City was so friendly with so many historical sites to see. We will likely return some day and will certainly recommend AMOMA TO our friends. Thank you. I was a bit hesitant to use them as I had NEVER heard of them before... but I was desperate. Did a quick search around the web on AMOMA.com and didn't see anyone that had a legitimate complaint. So I took a chance. It was actually an easier check-in at the hotel than it was the previous year when I made reservations through the hotel itself. Highly recommended!
Whenever we went to our room after housekeeping supposedly clean up, we found that they did not clean up the sink or coffee pot.
There was a red stain in the bed sheets and they did not change them. We felt housekeeping didn't provide any care to the room. There were other customers that also had the same complain, when I was waiting to be attended by the front desk.

The best deals of everyone! This was my first time using them and booking process was very easy. Since based out of Switzerland the only problem I had was I had to notify my bank in USA because my final payment was denied. Once I contacted my bank, everything went accordingly and we had no problems at the hotel when we arrived. Will definitely use again.

Had to cancel my booking. No hassle at all. Amoma was very timely in sending me the confirmation and told me when to expect the refund at my bank /credit card statement. Got my money back in Canadian dollars which is the currency I used. Of course, I had to pay for the administration fee $60.00. It's fair and that's what I agreed with when I first reserved my booking.
I recently travelled to Brazil and made 2 separate bookings - one in Salvador and one in Rio. The Rio offer was at the Copacabana Palace for 4 nights, and was much cheaper than on any other site but some 40%.
Unfortunately the online payment did not work and I had to telephone to make payment. But that glitch aside, the hotels had received our reservations and our stays worked perfectly.

My trip was planned in a hurry. All the hotels in centre Paris were either booked or out of my budget. So I booked this hotel and was apprehensive about my decision till I reached there. The hotel is perfect. Though room was small but it was inclusive of all amenities including a small balcony from where view was marvelous. Eateries and all kinds of departmental stores are within walking distance. Whereas Bus stop was just opposite hotel, metro was mere 100 mtrs walk away. Surprisingly the hotel had a small and petite garden also. I want to convey my special thanks to the staff at reception desk who were charming and courteous and guided us appropriately.
I booked a hotel in Glasgow before Christmas. During the two weeks prior to my stay, i received a number of e-mails/texts telling me how much my visit was anticipated. Whether these were generated by the hotel or Amoma, i can't remember. Anyway when I arrived, I was told my booking had been cancelled. The hotel (Mercure) was extremely unhelpful and simply told me to contact Amoma. I of course did so but have still received no explanation after more than a month. Won't be using them again!

I was a bit concerned, reading all negative reviews, after I booked it with almost 40% less price. But then had come reading forums where people were hysterical and canceled their bookings because hotels did not see their names on the system. I checked mine hotel and did not see it either - almost cancel my booking.
Then I read that this information actually comes almost before your arrival. So I was a bit nervous about it, since I was with my family on our vacation to San Diego. However, everything went smooth and I am happy.
At first I had never heard of amoma. This made me a little nervous to book with them. However thier nightly rate was about 40% less than other websites. I took the chance and it paid off. Not only did I save a substantial amount of money, upon arrival at the hotel I was upgraded to a balcony Oceanview room when I had booked a standard non ocean view room. Would definitely book again
I booked an hotel via Amoma. I didn't booked the right dates, and immediately asked to change. You won't do it, even if the hotel asked you directly because i contacted them. You want me to pay the whole reservation in case of modification, even if the hotel has rooms available.
This is a terrible way to keep a new client...

I booked a hotel with amoma 21 days earlier the date of arrival. Some automatic system booked on 5 days earlier than my date by mistake. I cancelled 10 minutes after the purchase, they took more then 90% of the amount and only refunded the rest. I told them it was abusive... they ignored me. Avoid amoma.
Tip for consumers:
Be careful, they took advantage on your credit card no matter what.
Used Amoma for the first time and saved quite a bit of money on the usual companies I book through. As it was the day before Xmas Eve the prices were so high but I saved around 40% using this company.
Lovely hotel in good location, withing walking distance of the beach but there is no longer a private area on the beach but they still advertise it on their website, brochures etc. Great breakfast. Staff were very nice
Recently I wanted to stay a couple of nights in Reno at The Nugget. I'm a member of their players club, so I expected a good deal from their web-site reservations. Best I could do - $67 a night for Fri and Sat. Amoma got me the same room for $47 a night. It was so good, I didn't trust it until I got into my room. What a savings. I highly recommend this site.
