Only once I got on the phone with someone did they take care of me the way I expected. I only gave them four stars because of the hassle in getting things figured out. But talking to the right person at Amoma got things resolved very quickly, with a great outcome.
I made a reservation through amoma for the grand pasha hotel in Kyrenia. However, after paying the money, I noticed that amoma received more than 170 TL from me. No matter how much I corresponded, they didn't care. Never shop from this site. They don't care about any customers after they get the Money. VERY BAD Rezervation number: 57479465

After reading damning reviews of Amoma we were pleasantly surprised to see no extra fees and taxes after accepting a very good offer. An excellent price for a first class hotel, we will certainly use Amoma in future.
Booking process check in process. Room availability, welcome, room condition and services and breakfast were all superb. No issues whatsoever. Would recommend this company and hotel without question. Well done. Hospitality as it should be. Others take note!
Easy to book. Accommodation close to hotel. There were no foreign channels on TV as described on the website. Way too many emails from the site. Sometimes confusing. First received an email I still need to pay - however I already payed when did the booking. A few minutes later another email with the confirmation. I think altogether like 7 emails for one booking!

I cancelled our reservation made through this company... the reservation was made a week ago. They are keeping our $529 Canadian. That's right... I even phoned the hotel in Rome directly. They say they don't have my money... and I suggested they stop dealing with Amoma since their business practices are so poor. I am still fighting for my refund. We'll see if they decide to take on a post-menopausal 65 year old with a grudge.
This website does not accept any changes even if it has been a mistake and you so notify them immediately (no reimburse rate). At the end they accepted to change it but asked for 55% of the value of the reservation (which apparently the hotel was not asking for). Dangerous.

Through a holiday search engine I found a good deal on Amoma. When I went to book, it was offered with warnings of "Book now! Prices might go up, so better secure this great deal" and "Last room" amongst other messages about how many people were viewing and how many bookings had just been made.
After a couple of clicks, the price went up by £10, so I hurried with the booking as prompted by the site as this was now the "Last room".
When I went back a bit later as I had my suspicions, the same tactic happened again. And again! This is clearly systematic misleading of customers.
Further, some ways into the booking (not sure from which referral sites) charge credit card and PayPal fees, although Amoma.com has "No credit card fees; Payment free of charge" on their website.
I honestly lost sleep booking through this site because of the bad reviews and well, when it's too good to be true, it usually is... Definitely not the case! We got an amazing deal (feels like we robbed them!) on a suite in Canmore. I was very sceptical and called the hotel to confirm the booking, even after the hotel confirmed I was nervous the day of travel but in the end everything was as promised! I'll definitely book through amoma again!
We have stayed in this hotel on many occasions. The rooms are pretty basic but always clean. Staff are very welcoming and helpful. On my husband's birthday stay in March they decked our room with balloons and left us chocolate ' Happy Birthday 'cookies and a bottle of wine. All free!
Breakfast is usually very busy and a little crowded but there is always enough food.
So, Amoma contacted me after seeing the review and said they would look into my account and see what they can do... Absolutely no response since, this is a company that does not care about the customer that keeps the lights on.
We booked a non-refundable reservation (my fault), but we never expected my wife. Who was 8 weeks pregnant (now 13) to get as sick as she did when we landed in Paris. The Doctor had cleared our trip and so off we went. The minute she landed and none stop from there coughing and puking. All our reservations Tours, hotels, and even United Airlines were so compassionate and understanding, but not Amoma or the hotel we got through them. Our doctor wrote a letter to everyone saying it was imperative my wife get home for treatment. We left 4 days later giving her time to adjust to her blood thinners (oh yes blood disorder so she takes meds whenever we travel) again all thsi was approved by doctors. Amoma could care less, they never followed up, I even said at least give us 50% of our booking fee back and they just have ignored us since. I would STAY away from this site there are so many that are better. Matter fact, I would go directly to the company's site to book. It is because of companies like Amoma that I rather not use these site. I mean My wife is pregnant and it was an emergency and these people acted like it was nothing serious.

I am going to Vienna later this year and was looking at hotels on various sites. Found Amoma.com and the rates for one hotel was amazing. Their price for the room including breakfast was 385 euros and with all other sites it was 650 or 700 euros. I booked it and I got the confirmation very quickly. Then I started to read about Amoma.com and saw all the dreadful reviews and got very worried. I e-mailed the hotel 2 days later but they did in fact confirm my reservation and I have an e-mail from them with their booking ref so I assume all is ok. I guess I am lucky as it seems it could have been a lot worse. Normally I book with Hotels.com and never ever had any problems.
Have to say from some of the the reviews I had read I was a little concerned, communication not the best but prices are very good and all went with out an issue so would recommend and definitely use again! Sometimes reviews don't help when bad but I can't fault them at all.

It was a long walk to our room which pleasantly large. All the staff were very helpful. The menu was limited & expensive. We ate in the first evening & had a lovely meal of sea bass but pricey. We noted the various other functions taking place which made the lounge are busy at times. The cost was less than quoted, pleased.

If you call customer service - good luck! I called 3 times and was on hold for over 40 minutes each time and then just hung up. The 4th time I decided to press option 1 to get someone to book a new trip they answered in 5 minutes! Hmmm if you have booked already and have questions no answer

I have never ever heard about Amoma.com before our trip to Amsterdam but I am surprised in a very positive way. I was not able to finish the payment for our rooms so they called (I did not request this) and tried to help me to complete the payment which was really nice. Unfortunately, they have some issue with accepting different types of debit/credit cards so the booking has to be done by my friend which was a little bit annoying.
Easy booking experience and good price for stay. Contacted hotel group to request upgrade to room but this was never acknowledged. Room was basic but clean. Few little problems which were rectified by Paula at reception who was very helpful and friendly. She helped make our stay more enjoyable.
Quick reservation but charge extra fee if you pay by credit card. The website could evolve though by stating before approving the reservation the main conditions in a few bullet points such as not cancellable for instance.
Great and easy service to use and much cheaper than the more widely known sites.
I am a frequent traveller on business for my own company and continue to find this site offering better deals than elsewhere
Absolute sham of a company in my opinion. I booked a hotel in Liverpool for 2 nights early October for £160 via Trivago/Amoma. I even called Amoma to confirm the booking and was told all was ok. When i got there the hotel had no record of my booking and they were fully booked. I tried to call Amoma but after 45 min on hold had no option but to book another hotel for £180.
2 weeks later they say they are still investigating my case despite all the clear evidence Ive sent them.
If only I could give 0 stars!

I was looking on Trivago to find the best price for a particular hotel in London, UK. It came up with Amoma, who I had never used before, so I was a little wary, but I decided to go with this. Part way through the booking process I was pleasantly surprised when they phoned me to say they could offer it even cheaper than the advertised price! My only criticism would be that the room descriptions could be a little confusing, but this is true of all hotel booking sites. I would certainly use Amoma again.

I've used Hotels, Priceline, Trivago and also booked directly. Never heard of Amoma, but surprisingly it had the lowest price when i needed travel accommodation on the quick -- and also when seemingly everywhere else was sold out.
Booking a room online was really straightforward. And i just showed up at the hotel, gave my name and ID, got my key and DONE. Will definitely consider Amoma as an option next time i need to book.
The online booking experience was great. Easy to follow website and booked with no problem at all. The hotel Hermes in Athens was very comfortable and clean. Excellent breakfast with a huge choice of food. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. I would use both Amoma and Hermes again for sure
Stayed 1 night before leaving to go home, perfect and reasonable stay. All staff members were courteous and nice room was quiet clean and affordable for only one night visit before going home to the United States I would recommend it to anyone we knew stay without spending a lot of money
Their reviews must be fake. Go to trip advisor and check out their reviews.
They never refund $436 that i paid after they acknowledged my cancellation.
Customer service never responded to my emails not do they pick up the phone, They have a new york number but supposedly are based in switzerland.

I've booked a hotel about two months in advance and paid for it, thinking I would get a better deal by paying in advance. Couple of days before my trip, I checked the hotel official website and their prices were 25% less. I contacted them and they refused to match the price, however, they gave me 10% refund.
