AM Used Auto Parts

I recently had the opportunity to purchase auto parts from this used auto part company, and my experience was overall positive. The selection of parts available was impressive, ranging from common components to harder-to-find items. The prices were reasonable and offered a cost-effective solution compared to buying new parts. The quality of the parts I received was generally good, with minimal signs of wear and tear. This is a solid option for finding affordable and functional auto parts. I was also extremely pleased with the level of customer service I received and would happily use them again.

The sales representative was very friendly and professional. He answered all my questions knowledgeably. I was very pleased with the price. Shipping was on time as quoted, the transmission is up and running perfectly. I appreciate the help from everyone at AM AUTO! I will be returning and telling everyone about you guys!

I was a little hesitant to purchase a transmission based on bad reviews. But I will tell you Brian Johnson took care of us all the way. The transmission arrived within seven days of purchase. The customer service has been outstanding any questions were answered in a timely manner. Couldn't be happier

I purchased a car in FL for my son in MT had it shipped it ran perfectly before being shipped. I believe the car carrier people moved the car several times and blew the motor. When the vehicle arrived in MT it did not run. A new motor was needed and sourced from AM Used Auto Parts. I worked with Justin who was very helpful and patient making sure I was getting the right motor for his particular vehicle. The motor had about half the miles on it as the old motor. The motor was shipped free to the shop and once installed ran perfectly. Hopefully my son gets many years of use out of that vehicle thanks to them. I would definitely purchase a new motor from them again.

I ordered a 5.7 L 1996 Vortec motor. They said it was in a truck and running. When I get the motor it's obvious it's been sitting in a field 4 years with rust all over it. They said they would return it but keep 20% for restock fees. Bull$#*!. This company is a rip off. If you want to get screwed go ahead and use them

I purchased a used engine at a very affordable price with a great warranty. From my first email to the calls and texts they were very prompt and easy to communicate with. They do an excellent job of explaining and informing you of the whole process and exactly what the status is of your parts order. All I can say is it was an awesome an excellent transaction, all of there staff are awesome. And on top of all the great customer service and informative communication I have an awesome running motor now with low miles. Highly recommend these folks for your used parts and knowledge of them. Great price and received the item as described. Clif and Guy have been great, email them for updates and always had updates within hours. It did take longer than I expected for engine to be pulled and shipped. But it was worth the wait.

Whom this my concern, I called this company in hopes of finding a transmission for my 2007 Toyota Avalon. From the initial phone call the customer service representative was 5 stars, He took my information and particulars, Then went into the search for my part and was very informative on explaining to me about my matter or situation. I only paid 1000.00 with free shipping for my transmission for my 2007 Toyota Avalon the part only had ******* miles on it. They game me a 3 year warranty at no additional charge. I was sold on everything and I have had the part installed on to the car and it's been perfect ever since. I would definitely recommend this company and its products. Thank guys for taking care me! AM Used Auto Parts (AM) sold me a motor that was damaged during shipping due to AM's faulty securing of engine at point of pick up. It was documented on the receiving end that the motor was damaged and could not be installed. AM blamed the shipping company and said that the issue was with them. The shipping company (after an extended amount of time) came to a conclusion that the shipper (ie AM) was responsible for the damage. AM refuses to take any responsibility for the issue and I am stuck with the cost of engine. Would never use AM again and strongly recommend against using them by anyone else.

I'm very happy with Am auto parts, I'm glad I made the decision to purchase a engine for my Toyota from them, received on time arrive in very good condition and is running great,and I'm very thankful

One of the worest experience I have ever had in my life. He just shout out and hang up the phone. I told him that I have read some bad reviews on the web about your shop and I need to cancel the order that wasnt shipped yet. He said I will charge you 20% which its around 400$. I called my bank to dispute the transaction.

It took longer than anticipated to get my engine shipped to me, however I'm very pleased with my engine. I have also bought a 6l80e transmission from am auto and I'm very satisfied with it as well. Just wanted to let you guys know that I have my engine that i bought from you. It runs great! If i ever need anything else I will be calling you first! The price was great. The shipping was on time as quoted. The customer service was excellent. Again I cant thank you enough!

On march 6 I bought a transmission from this (company)they pulled my money from my bank the same day. I received the transmission 2 weeks after and to my surprise the transmission did not work at all forward, i have a lot of problems with these people no transmission no money they want me to send the transmission to Massachusetts for warranty to check and after according to them i'll get my money refunded. I'm still waiting for the address, so be careful with this bunch of liars they only want your money.

I wish I had read these reviews before I made my recent purchase. For a company that puts in print, if the part is defective or wrong part they will replace. Now this is a standard 1 year warranty. HORSE$%^!* they dont honor anything. I recently purchased an engine for a 2000 Lincoln Navigator, when my mechanic received the engine he notified me that the engine had obvious signs of cross contamination and that it would be unethical to put this engine in and a small fix becomes a larger problem. After several attempts for them to resolve the issue I get the answer of our engines are tested before we send out. Just cause there is a little fluid doesnt mean the engine is bad have your mechanic feels that its not safe to put in is up to you. Have them run a compression test and send us the numbers. WHAT?! Thats pretty much telling me to piss off we sold you an engine now its your problem. These guys dont deserve 1star

Hello everyone! Bryan in sales has not replied to my emails about a faulty engine that he sold me 7 months ago and blew out within a week, even with all the proof of diagnostic that I sent out. Bryan told me that he will refund my money, but he doesn't answer me.Now I can't drive my car and I can't fix it because I don't have my money back, $2,699.00. Bryan I know you will see this review, I don't know if you have wife, or sisters or mother, but what you have done to me is horrid. I just hope karma comes back to you.

I bought a engine from this company a couple months ago. My mechanic inspected it and said that it was locked up. I then called am used auto parts to try and get a refund and they were very rude and told me i was out of luck and couldn't help me! That's ridiculous. Especially how they say all of there parts are inspected. This place is a scam. Save your money and do your research like i should have. They will find any and every excuse as to how there not responsible for anything. Horible customer service. This company needs to be shut down.

2002 Chevy Suburban 5.3. They quoted me a good price. First engine arrived and there was water in the engine, rust was everywhere, and the engine was locked up. They sent a replacement engine. The replacement had globs of sludge in oil pan. Pulled the valve covers off and couldn't believe the engine ever ran with that much gunk buildup and sludge in it. AM Used Auto Parts said they'd refund my money if I sent both engines to them at my expense. I can't believe they get away with selling junk engines. The worst part is the customer service as they end every conversation with, 'have a blessed day,' knowing they just scammed another customer. Ended up purchasing a professionally rebuilt engine from a nationally known establishment and chalking the AM experience up as a, 'too good to be true, it probably is' experience.

I bought a Hyundai Sonata Turbo engine and AC compressor $2395. 00 from them... First of all they didn't ship the compressor at all and they sent a broken engine when I called they said they were going to ship the compressor which I never got and asked me to ship back the engine out of my pocket $800 before they could think of sending me my money back... This company is a scam and I am so taking their ads to court, they must either send me a good engine or give back money.

People beware!

Purchased a used Mini Cooper engine from this company and the engine arrived with water mixed with the engine oil. When I contacted the company with pics of the oil and explained what I received they claimed the water was from pressure washing the engine. Impossible. The water was fully mixed with the oil and flowing out of the oil drain hole. They said that was my opinion?

They said if I wanted to pay to ship the bad engine back to them on my dime they would refund me less a 20% restock fee. Unbelievable. I immediately disputed the purchase with my credit card company and it has been charged back. Do not do business with this company.
