AMUP has their phone # in banner of goproengines.com which is a search engine; they sell leads to to parts suppliers. One of these; American Auto Zone - https://americanautozone.us/ is a fraudulent store front. I wired them 1,000s of dollars for an engine that never came. Filed report with FBI. I would stay away.

Bought and engine from AMUAP that only had 68K miles. Pulled the oil pan and it was filled with chunks of metal from cam bearings or rod bearings. Called Paul in the warranty department and he asked for pictures, sent him pics of the oil pan with all the metal chunks and his reply was to "just change out the oil pan with the one from your core"

Bought a V8 for my 03 Suburban. Sent a trash motor that didn't run and shipped it sideways on a broken pallet. Was froze up when it arrived. Scam artists. Took me for $1000.

Thanks to AM Used Auto Parts, my car is back on the road and running fine. I purchased a transmission from AM Used Auto parts and they shipped it directly to my mechanic. My trusted mechanic installed the transmission and was very confident installing the transmission. Now I have both a trusted mechanic and a trusted Auto parts company. Thank you AM USED Auto Parts. DO NOT EVEN WASTE YOUR TIME BUYING FROM THEM! THEY SOLD A UNIT THAT LASTED 3 WEEKS AND THEN WANTED NUMEROUS THINGS FROM MY SHOP TO GET CREDIT. I SENT THOSE THEN THEY SAID WE HAD TO SEND IT BACK AT OUR COST. IT CLEARLY STATES ON THE WEBSITE THAT THEY WOULD PICK IT UP AT THEIR COST WITHIN 30 DAYS. I OWN A AUTO REPAIR SHOP AND THEY THINK THEY ARE SMARTER THAN THE TRAINED TECHNICIANS. NOW THEY JUST TOLD US IT IS PAST 30 DAYS, EVEN THOUGH IT HAS BEEN SITTING AT MY SHOP, AND THEY WILL NOT TAKE IT BACK. NOTHING BUT A RIP OFF. SURE THEY SAY THEY HAVE GOOD PRICES BUT SERVICE IS HORRIBLE AND MIS STATED. I WILL NEVER BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM AGAIN.

Lost $2000. Sent me 2 engines. 1st was the wrong one. 2nd had rust in cylinders. Paid shop to disassemble for re gasket before install, then found rust. Was told they wouldn't honor warranty because I had disassembled the engine. Even though I used a certified shop. I wouldn't have known about the rust in cylinders or water in entire engine if I hadn't had it checked. They offered to take the engine back for refund minus the shipping cost. Kept the engine and parted what I could. Complete waste of time and money. These guys are the sleeziest bunch of clowns I've ever dealt with. I wish them all nothing but the worst!

Shipped me a Non Compatible Vin Specific Motor with a Fuel Management Systen that will not loop in to my truck. Can not get the Vin of Vehicle motor came out of to prove Claims experts wrong. I will not pay to ship their mistake back to them.

Very easy transaction the engine was ordered and delivered in a short amount of time. The mechanic gave there approval on it being a good engine as am auto promised.

Sent a bad engine and won't honor their "warranty" They say the warranty is void because I took the heads off to see why there wasn't any compression. Don't be fooled, there is no warranty.

Engine took a little longer to arrive then expected but it was a described. Engine runs strong and glad to have my car running again. Thank you AM auto parts.

We ordered an engine for my 15 year old sons car. He paid for it with his own money. We received the engine and sent it off to be installed. The mechanic called and told us it was the wrong engine. So we call A & M and told them about the situation. They want us to pay for the engine to be returned and also for the shipment of the correct engine. We've already paid $700 for the first engine now the want another $300, via money order or cashier check! This is bull$#*!. We will be contacting a lawyer and also sending this to the BBB. DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FROM THESE PEOPLE

My husband bought a 1,500 dollar used motor (yes we acknowledge is used) with 72K miles they said it had, the motor was damaged when my husband inspected it but the delivery guy had left. We called them twice upon receipt and they did answer and we explained the situation about the motor being damaged. They asked for pictures which we sent to them but they never responded. So my husband without any hope and this company being in Florida and we're in California, he proceed it to have a mechanic work on it to at least try to see if it would work although the motor was broken. According to the mechanic that motor has more than the stated miles and also shows signs of over heating. (see pics) According to AM used Parts they do quality check and they turn start the motors before selling.
In the midst of these, my husband sent another email and they responded to that one (please see attached), we were instructed to change a few parts, my husband thought ok, so we bought more parts in good faith and spent 517.89, turns out we can't do that because the parts can't be installed due to the damages, per the mechanic is "impossible" the motor is "deceased"
We've left messages at no veil. We have proof of everything and photos and the testimony of the mechanic.
I urge you to BE CAREFUL! They are not to be trusted especially if your'e out of state it complicates things and they just think you're just gonna go away because they know it complicates things.

They don't stand behind their warranty the engine I purchase had internal parts broken the engine was suppose to be a good engine and internal parts were supposed to be covered I was AM that would need to purchase the parts myself and the engine would be okay

Bought a transmission it came in excellent condition fit right and works excellent i,ll use am used parts again when needed and tell my family and friends

Everyone one was professional and helpful in purchasing the correct engine. It was shipped and received in a timely manner. If needed I will use them again.

I ordered a motor fro am used auto parts. T was a fair price and fairly low miles. It was shipped asap. When my mechanic went to install the motor he couldn't hook up the torque converter bolt and found out the motor would not turn over. I called bryan and he said it was hydro locked and to but some mystic oil in the cylinders and keep trying it turn it over. I am not sure how long it took him but it did start to turn over. I should have just sent it back than. But I didn't so when he got it running he called me and said it makes noise so I went over there to listen to it and it had a very loud ticking noise coming from the drivers side. Called bryan again and he said he would send out another on as soon as I sent the other one back. And I asked if he was going to help pay my mechanic to pull out his junk motor he sold me and but in new one. He said that they don't cover labor. So I am stuck with 700 dollars for the first time and know if I decide to do it again I will have 1400 dollars into 2 motors plus oil and filter for both and other problems that come up like leaking exhaust manifolds and other crap like that that will add up to a couple hundred dollar more real fast. So if you are thinking about buying from this company DONT DO IT! Find some one else. Just read all the bad reviews this company has I wish I would have

AM USED PARTS WAS RECOMMENDED TO ME BY A FRIEND WHO RECENTLY PURCHASED A USED ENGINE FOR A FORD RANGER AND ONE FOR A HONDA PILOT. I NEEDED A TRANSMISSION FOR A GMC PICKUP, SO I GAVE AM USED PARTS A TRY. I FILLED OUT THE FORM ON THE WEBSITE, AND WITHIN A DAY I HAD A QUOTE FOR A USED TRANSMISSION FOR UNDER A THOUSAND DOLLARS, WITH FREE SHIPPING AND 3 YEAR WARRANTY. THIS IS EXACTLY WHAT I WAS LOOKING FOR. I CALLED AND CONFIRMED THE DETAILS WITH BRIAN (I THINK), WHO WAS FRIENDLY AND HELPFUL. I RECEIVED EMAIL UPDATES ON THE STATE OF THE TRANSACTION, LIKE WHEN THEY LOCATED A UNIT FOR ME, WHEN IT WAS SHIPPED, AND I HAD A TRACKING NUMBER. IT TOOK ABOUT 3 WEEKS TO A MONTH TO GET THE TRANSMISSION. IT ARRIVED IN GOOD CONDITION ON A PALLET, AND AFTER INSTALLING IT WORKS JUST FINE. OVERALL I WAS PLEASED WITH EVERYTHING FROM THE PRICE, ORDER PROCESS, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL RECOMMEND AM USED PARTS TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY.

I bought an engine- They never shipped anything. When I email they wont answer. They lied about UPS breaking the engine What BS Never saw any Bill of Lading from UPS Crooks

I purchased an engine on Jan 27 since I had not received by Feb 8th I called and they argued that it had never been paid for. I explained that I am looking at the transcation online and asked of its whereabouts. He lied stating it was coming from up north but the original seller stated it was coming from Florida when I mentioned this the individual hung up assuring me that I would need to wait 7 more days. THIS PLACE IS AN ABSOLUTE JOKE! Where is the professionalism I am running a business as well and cant keep my customer waiting due to their inability to deliver as promised

I would recommend y'all to all my friends and family bcuz your did an excellent job making sure I had the right engine. I want to thank everyone involved.

The price and quality of the engine I purchased was excellent. It gave extra life to my Pontiac. With the warranty that's offered made me secure with my purchase.

$#*! this place it's a scam they sent me junk all cut up and leaking after they said it's was like new $#*! them. And it took the $#*! tards 4 weeks to ship the thing. Go $#*! your self AM - 10 stars
