I came across this site couple months ago and I was a bit skeptical, if are those girls real and if they are on pay roll and etc. Its easy to find out, if you exchange one or two letters or chat with a girl for 30 minutes, she should remember you and than just find her on VK.com its really easy, because their data of birth and cities are both on anastasia date and VK and in most cases they have one or two same photos as on the website. So its easy to find them. Than you can write them and you'll see, some of them do it for money, but some want to really meet someone (like GDP per capita in Ukraine is $3,500 so no surprise they want to get out of there). So yes they want your money, but I believe you can really find a girl you want, just maybe before you start spending your money, find her on VK, all the photos there are open to see for all users, so you can tell if she got a bf or husband, than talk to her a bit a site and than move to VK. Also pick a girl who can speak at least some English.

There are many dating sites that are scamming people, but this is not one of them. QUite the opposite. If you want to point fingers I suggest you go somewhere else.

This site is designed to rinse cash from mug punters who are sucked in by the beauties that are way above their league. Yes, It is very flattering to see these amazing looking girls taking an interest in YOU -- but get real fellers! They are after the subscriptions.
All the images of the girls are professionally staged, produced.
The girls probably get commission for keeping the Punters engaged for as long as possible. Just a very brief comment following my earlier one a couple of years ago.

For the past 18 months I removed all details from my profile account on anastasiadate.com and all photographs. Only my name remains visible in my profile. And yet I STILL get at least 8-10 letters each day. On the very infrequent occasion that I log on, out of interest to see how many (mainly much younger women) have left a message, and I delete them, literally dozens of women are trying to get me to chat online.

Now I have no credit on my account and have not communicated with anyone since early last year. And still they keep coming.
Ask yourself this. Would you be bothering to contact someone with no picture and no personal details? Would you as a 20 something attractive woman want to communicate with someone 60+? Of course you wouldn't and that is why this site is such a scam.

I found out after 2 years and a lot of time and money wasted and with several disappointments both online and actually visiting Ukraine - which is a lovely country with terrible roads and dubious police.

Just use your common sense and then walk away.

Do you want the truth? Be careful. Most profiles are real, but that does not mean that you are actually chatting with that girl. Even a video chat (live chat with video feed) may not be real. There are numerous times that I have caught them using pre-recorded video and then looping the feeds. Ask them to wave and they may use a 'Wave' video (my term) to dupe you into thinking that they really did wave (it could be a recording). This is not new and has been going on for years. AnastasiaDate's Anti-Scam Policy (especially #3) may be a farce as many times they refuse to remove the offender for the scam, even if you were lucky enough to be refunded. This enables other men to get deceived. Most men watch their keyboards and the text screen, so they miss looping. I have dozens of examples that I have recorded. I also have one photo of the actual girl who was typing (years ago), instead of the lady that was in the profile. I can say some good things, but it is important to note that this site has a habit of letting scammers remain here. I am interested to see the reply from AnastasiaDate. I am very able to back my statement.

It's a FRAUD! The Anastasiadate.com site is a well organized money milking machine! Please stay away! The lady profiles are fake and the pictures are stolen from social networks of real women who know nothing about it!

Some reviewers with success story and attached photos here on the Sitejabber are scam too - I have communicated with some of the ladies shown on the pictures and it's all fake! Do not trust the positive reviews at all.

I've found and proved fake profiles, but the website support did nothing: the last time, when I found a fake profile of the lady user I've exchanged communication with and spent credits on a useless communication, you did nothing to erase the fake profile. That lady is still on your website to scam the other men members! It's a shame!

I've spent money on a fake profile, where the communication is all produced and manipulated by a third person and not the lady herself. I bet all the photos are stolen from a real person's social media networks by your "trusted" administrators. What a scam.

Without this site I wouldn't have found the woman of dreams. I was very unsure coming onto this website finding someone but it was truly amazing how he just popped up into my life.

First I dated a girl from Moscow that I met on another site. We had a great time but it was decided not to be a long term relationship (we are still friends on Facebook because she was awesome also). I decided to give it another try after reading about Anastasia in Forbes. I joined and became overwhelmed with all the women on the site. I narrowed it down to my top ten and went from there. My co-workers also helped me pick. We corresponded by email for a month and then I decided to call her using Anastasia translator service. I don't know what was said but my lady spoke english and asked me about Skype. Anyway we talked to each other for several months and it was decided to visit her. I obtained a Russian visa from Visa HQ and away I went. I flew on my first TU-154 to her city. She was EXACTLY as presented by photos and Skype. Also met the entire family while there. Nicest people you will ever meet. As soon as I met her, I knew she was the one. I asked her to marry the second day there, but she wasn't prepared (but she didn't say no). I flew back to Russia three more times before she finally said yes. The visa process took a little over six months, she flew back with me and we were married a month later. BEST decision I ever made. I was 56 when we met and she was 48. I wanted someone closer to my age and didn't want to raise another daughter even though they said you could go as high as 25 years difference. I also recommend a book I found that was really helpful (I didn't want to make another mistake after my first try). It's called "Understanding Russian Women". I can't remember the author, sorry

There are so many dating sites to pick from. I like this one because I'm looking to date women from a specific region and this portal makes it so much easier for me.

I was sceptical at first, but once I started using it I've had no complaints about it - the women I've chatted with on here so far seem friendly and sincere, no scammers detected. Besides, the interface of the site is user-friendly and easily accessible. These advantages have to be paid for, sure, and I guess most of the negative reviews I've seen come from those who can't afford paying the fees. For me, anastasiadate is a good option to try to broaden my outlook, explore cultural differences and find a penpal or even start a relationship - I often go to Eastern Europe on business and I can meet up no problem. Anyway, good luck to me in exploring the site further and good luck to those who haven't found a proper match yet.

This site is totally fake and a complete SCAM! I wanted to see what would happen if I created a profile (I happen to be female, because it allowed me to say I was a female searching for a male; even though there ARE NO MALE PROFILES on this site at all!). That was the first thing; the second thing is that now I am getting tons of FAKE EMAIL messages from the supposed women on the site (which of course if you want to reply you have to give them money!) DON'T waste your time or money, those are just stock photos of models, but the people writing the profiles are just regular people of all kinds who get paid to make stuff up!

Save your money. I used the site for a few years, you have to talk to several scammers to get to a few real people. Then when you meet the real people in person if you visit Ukraine, 90 % of them are scammers. I was unlucky with the 2 girls who were not obvious scammers when I I met them and a few meetings over the course of two or three years, but it took a lot of wasted time and effort to even find them. Sometimes I even wonder whether those 2 were playing a scam at a higher level, because there reasons fro not wanting to get married were strange to say the least after having a long enough relationship. Save yourself the heartache and money and find a genuine site. Just a little proof it is a scam, when you log on to the site, you are automatically made a member of their Asian, Latin and African sites. You will start getting chat invitations from girls on these sites. The girls will tell you how impressed they are by your profile and your looks. If you look at your profile on these sites, the only information on them is your name, age and location. No description or photo gets automatically transferred. This is a clear indication that all these girls messaging you are paid scammers

Beware of false, inaccurate, or misleading profile descriptions on AnastasiaDate. A female named Nataliya (ID: *******) is listed as age 25 on AnastasiaDate, but on another dating site, J4L, she goes under the name of "Nataly" (User ID: *******) and her age is given as 32(!), which, judging from her photos on J4L, seems far more accurate.
