Did not end up using their service, and told them to cancel me several times. Well that was a year ago, and guess what? They never cancelled me and took MORE money from my account a year after. So I am $60 less and never used the service once. The customer service I received last year was horrible, and useless. I put in another refund request and cancellation request, we will see what they do for me this time. If they treat me okay, then I will be back to tell you what they did for me, if not I will give you the run down!

At joining was great until I started using it and here come the advertising trash. As I continue to play asteroids on the crap advertising I was bugged to death to join the Elite club. Grant it this was a paid subscription and not the FREE version. After I attempted to cancel there was little help and response to canceling or getting my money back. This dragged on for most of this week and seem to consume it. Its a shame

Does not hide you from Pandora, Hulu or any major site even though it says it will. Elite version now contains Kaboom, software that just plain annoys you. Waste of money.

I bought AnchorFree on my IPhone and wanted to use it on my PC as well - I didn't want to see the ads and you are supposed to be able to load it on multiple devices with a single subscription. I couldn't figure out how to add my PC to my existing account so I contacted their "help desk" their response was:

"Kelly, Apr 11 15:47 (PDT): Hello, The application only works if you have bought the PC version; then you can add the iOS subscription to it."

I happened to be talking to the CEO about something and he told me that the above statement wasn't correct, so I tried the help desk again and things went downhill from there. They actually took ONE MONTH to reply to my message and I didn't get any actual help. Their latest reply to me was verbatim as the very first message.

So I can't really comment on the product and how well it works (I assume it does) but their supports really SUCKS.

If you live in China or another country that blocks internet sites, Hotspot Shield is worth a try. You have to sit through ads, but it's worth it to check YouTube and Facebook in China.
