Great selection of plants that are not easily found. Plants are grown from seed in the open so already are "hardened off" and ready to plant in your yard or container. Successful transplanting at a higher rate than most big box nurseries.
Sorry to say that I asked to be removed from their mailing list after many years of happy purchases. Just received second order of the season, half of which was absent due to over selling. Leaving me with a purchase where the shipping exceeded the cost of the 2 plants. No notice or opportunity to oder replacement plants and they will not even make an adjustment to the shipping expense. There are many other online nurseries with superior customer service. I recommend Romence Gardens.
This is not the rose I purchased, Phyllis Bide. I can't contact anyone to correct the problem. I doubt I'll ever use them again, and I promise I'll advise all the garden and flower clubs I'm affiliated with to avoid doing business with them also.
Great service, amazing plants there that we don't have in Alabama, shipping is expensive but that's not the nursery's fault! Arrives healthy and well packaged, well worth the money to me. I have soooo many more interesting plants than anyone locally that I am aware of. I give them a HIGH FIVE!
Tip for consumers:
Plants are reasonably priced. Shipping is expensive, but sent FedEx to me in Alabama in 2 days!!!
I received three small perennials from Annies. They were very well packed and arrived on the date they said they would. However one was totally dead and one other was looking pretty bad! For the amount I paid I was very unhappy. I called and left a message but never heard back. I will plant them and cross my fingers!
Tip for consumers:
Don't shop at Annies Annuals

plants
Ordered several plants from Annies Annuals. Most of the plants arrived in decent condition, except for 2, which were dead. YThe reason they were dead was because they were so small and puny, the were not big or vital enough to survive the trip. When I went to plant the other plants, I found very immature root systems. I hope they make it. I sent an email to get a refund on the dead plants. And while I did get a call back, the person did not leave their telephone number or their extension. In calling them back...again, several times, you never get an actual person...you always get the message machine. Very, Very frustrating. Won't order again from them.
I still buy the occasional Annie's Annuals plant at my local garden center, mostly because they're isn't a lot of choice, but I no longer order them online. I used to place huge orders. A few years ago one order was something like 65 plants! I was initially impressed by the quality of their plant stock and their packaging for shipping. But then they sent me some truly rubbish plants and did not replace them or reimburse me for the loss. They also misrepresented a plant and lied about it when I called them out for it. For that deception, they were selling a variegated mutation of a common plant, which I knew had to be propagated from a cutting. What they sent me was non-variegated seedling. When I contacted Annie's, their "expert" tried to tell me that the plant would change color as it got older. That is a blatant lie, and was insulting to me, a customer who is a knowledgeable plantswoman. The other incident that turned me off of Annie's involved plants that arrived nearly dead, and ultimately died. Annie's claims that they guarantee their plant stock. I reported those damaged or diseased plants upon receipt, and was told to keep an eye on them and report back if they did not make it. I was told that they would replace any that failed. When the plants died and I contacted the company, as instructed, I was brushed off. They simply stopped responding. So I stopped ordering. Do not recommend.
This spring I decided to create and dedicated a memorial garden to a lost love one who past away from a four year battle of bone cancer. As I started my endeavor I decided I wanted the garden to be a pollinator garden with only a majority of perennial plants that would rebloom over years in his memory.
I purchased my plants starting in late March and continued to do so up to the week of May 15,2023 from Annie's annuals and perennials located in Richmond California. As the orders came in I started to plant the plants and some of the pants died. Others were shipped with exposed roots as not enough topsoils was placed in the containers for the plants. As I started to contact this company they did not answer the phone initially and when they did I explained the situation and the reason for the garden and ask that they replace the plants that died. To date even knowing the reason for the garden they continue to respond to my requests with silence. I share this with you so you do not ended up in the same place I am in.
I ask you to be a wise consumer and view this as nothing more then another company that will not guarantee its product. In addition I suspect if a response is provide by this company it will be done for the readers benefit and not in response to its product. I ask that you think twice before purchasing anything from this company
