So, I purchased two concert DVD's - James Taylor Solo and A tribute to Burt Bacharach. The DVD's came to me in about 10 days. And, they are just fine. Fair price and two DVD's for which didn't know they existed until i saw them in the Oldies catalog. So, I'm a happy DVD watcher!
I was preoccupied with browsing the internet and seeking assistance after falling victim to a scam by a broker. Fortunately, I found Spec-trum-crest, who provided exceptional and professional services. They guided me through the entire process, allowing me to finally find relief from the stress and frustration caused by the previous ordeal.

A couple of years ago I foolishly bought their pc protection, etc. I no longer even use their software, yet they keep saying I'm past due on my account with them and are sending it to a collection agency. Send away, I'll not be paying. Greedy, useless, and guaranteed to slow your computer down.
They deactivated my account for "inactivity" when I had just been signed in about 20 days ago, that's absolutely stupid, and bad business. They want to "welcome me back" but absolutely 100% screw that. I'll stick with gmail, thanks. But that's absolute hog poop. I genuinely dislike AOL in the deepest way possible. There is no way to recover it, I have tried all the options, just seems like they've gotten so greedy that unless you pay a monthly fee they're coming up with excuses and lies to deactivate accounts.
Tip for consumers:
I wouldn't use this email service for any reason for anything important. The moment they decide you've been inactive for too long they just delete your account.
They have a lot of articles on saving money, and alerting the consumer. But they turn around and endorse many affiliate programs that are designed to make you spend money. And not in wise ways either. One time they even promoted a book for "saving" that was actually $30-$40 bucks! Where is the savings in that. Plus they also have gained the reputation for editing comments to an extreme degree. They will sometimes take only one sentence from a comment to make themselves look good.
Literally, the worst Customer service you can expect.
I know my login details but AOL is asking me to verify that I am not a robot. It only gives me 2 options to do so, either send a message to a phone number that i don't own anymore, without giving me the option to change the number, or call their helpline and get charged for it. I am never gonna use this email again.
I enjoy a lot of their consumer articles. I use it to stay up to date on recalls and other important scam warnings. My favorite thing about them is the amount of content they produce. The articles are nice and succinct so I don't have to spend too much time reading. It's definitely the only AOL product I still use! =)
I am a regular user of aol mail and services from last 3 years got no problem with them. The support staff of aol is really fast and good.New features as aol gold and desktop are reliable to customers.
AOL has allowed people to hack not one but two of my AOL accounts and will do nothing about it. They claim someone will contact you back 24 to 48 hours it's been over a month and a half and now a second account has been hacked I have only these accounts for over 30 years this is how they treat their customers
Tip for consumers:
Get a different email like Gmail where they protect you better.
Very Bad Service, After registering e mail id when i was going to log in they say we have not recognized u. If ur company is in losses than i will pray the god to give u profits but dont waste the valuable time of the customers.
*******@aol.com
Simply horrible. A week ago I heard they wer4e associated or bought by Yahoo and then I lost 3000 unread emails. Phone calls are useless. It is so terrible to lose your emails and the company gives you the run around. Simply wordst email service among the known emails.
This will reflect bad not only on AOL but Yahoo also.
Here is how they could be better--
* Run fewer depressing stories
* Run more stories that are uplifting
* Don't be so slanted in political ideology--stop with the hate!
* Write articles that educate and make people think
I do not like the aol email ap.It did not work,so I deleted the thing. However it seems as if they want to shove it down my throat.Sometimes, when,I am trying to sign into my account, they basically say I can sign in.After not downloading their email app. That,I deleted, because it did not work.Usually, can sign in after another attempt. Not the point. Why,are they trying to shove a email app down my throat, that did not even work.Fix it.
The biased news reporting on aol open page is an absolute autrocity. They obviously think i'm retarged to put up the bull$#*! and lies they constantly circulate. Looking to end the relationship with them for good. Can't wait.
I thought AOL was dead and wish they were. I logged into my account one day (I should say attempted) and was locked out. I called them up and they told me they assigned my account to someone else (I had had it for years). All my emails, everything gone and in someone else's hands... Criminal!
I was logging in to download a study guide and was forced to renew my password. I had just changed it less than a week ago. Customer service would not help me reset my password and to reset it for free was not an option because the help icon just would take me to the login page where I had to verify I am not a robot multiple times. I tried to explain this to the tech on the phone and she would not listen and just kept directing me to the help icon. I am done with aol and will never recommend them to anyone. This is sad because I have had this account for over 15 years.
Tip for consumers:
Use anything other than aol. For one it is old and I've been described as a dinosaur for still having the aol account.
After consultation with Karcher and eReplacementParts, I thought that I finally had the correct replacement part. Wrong, again. At least the return is pretty easy. But, I still need the part, as my T300 deck and pavement cleaner is useless without it.
Tip for consumers:
Don't trust the USPS. They had my part in their distribution center for a month!

Took too long t recieve my parts, and they are the wrong parts. I will be returning them. All i need is the replacement cap. The head housing for the ST1500SF (hinged shaft) 15" string trimmer by EGO.

I let AOL know that I would like to get a refund of my deceased Sister's last $39.99/month payment as she was deceased at the time that they processed her charge and that we could really use the money toward the funeral expenses. The AOL representative was insensitive and wouldn't talk to me as I wasn't on my Sister's account. When I said that this is a special situation the person said, I can't talk to you because you are not on the account. I was shocked at the lack of care and compassion.
Could not get my email. Called aol service and told that i have to go to my pc to fix the problem.
Rarely if ever use my pc. Asked to speek to a supervisor and was hung up on.
Now i think they blocked my number. Alst time they wanted to charge me $100 to fix my pc.
What a joke
I use AOL when I travel and I've always been happy with their service. They also have a feature that puts my account on hold, so I don't have to pay when I am not using it, which is why I've stayed with them.
THESE MANIPULATORS TOOK MY WIFE'S NAME off everything its her primary account have al;l the right information cant sign in now the lawsuit the PHILIPPINES SHOULD NOT WORK IN AMERICA STAY WITH THEIR OWN PHONIE KIND
Tip for consumers:
THIS COMPANY THEY ARE GARBAGE THEY VIOLATE YOU CHANGE INFORMATION ON YOUR ACCOUNTS THEY EVEN STEAL FROM YOU WITH YOUR ACCOUNT THEM AND VERIZON STOLE EVERYTHING FROM MY WIFE AND I WE WILL BE PURSUING IT IN COURT.
My card expired. I went into aol to update it but am locked out with NO notice from aol. I received USPS mail notice to login to updatemybill.aol.com but it says I dont own my own account. I called *******811 and he would not send me a link to update my card nor would he give temporary access to update my billing info. The only thing he would let me do is give HIM my credit card number. HIM, not from my country, not cleared, maybe just out of jail, I wouldnt know. I dont give my credut card number out over the phone. I see this as an effort to hijack my credit card info. Ive been with aol about 20 years. Whats happened there?
Tip for consumers:
It would have been helpful if aol would have given me a temporary code to go in and change my billing or if aol had not locked me out of my account before I received prior notice or if aol had sent me a link to change my billing info. Anything except give my credit card out to the customer service agent over cell phone. AOL is the only company I deal with that makes that demand.
Okay, I have an email address as my backup. Although it would be nice to get help if you loose your password as opposed to having to start all over again with a new email address.
