Do not rent an Apartment at 11 Grant Street in Cohoes, NY. I was approached by a friend who was a cousin of the home owner and offered an opportunity to look at a apartment at this address. The owner of the house called me several times and offered the apartment to me saying that his current tenant is moving out in April or May of 2016 because she was building a house and the owner wanted to know If I wanted to look at the apt. While his tenant was on vacation in Florida during early February. I looked at the apartment and I said I would take when the apt. Becomes available in the Spring when his current tenant moved out. I talked with the owner in his house for over an hour and several times on the telephone and we planned this move. I hired a moving company and started packing boxes as I live alone and it would take me a long time to pack everything up. So after three months of planning and packing and moving money around in anticipation of this move - I get a text message this week, that read (my daughter is taking he apartment, look elsewhere). He offered no explanation, no phone conversation to explain or an apology at all. He treated it like it never happened, and here I am all packed up ready to go with a moving company hanging. What a slap in the face. I am still amazed that I trusted this man and that it was o. K. for him to waste my time without even an apology. If you have the opportunity to look at this apartment in the future, I would definitely steer away from this owner, the property and the three daughters that control his life. This website refuses to let me post my review of the Eddison apartment that is compliant in, Enviornmental Racism by knowingly renting out roach invested apartments with water leaks in the wall's which roaches and mold can effect a person of color's health, False Advertising, They posted the picture of the pool being clear and clean when the reality is it is a green dirty mosquito pool that's dirty 99% of the year that is like a dirty huge bird bath bathtub for the pigeons around the property in the city, It keep's saying sorry it CAN'T post my review but this happens on all of these type of websites, Because they are trying to control the narrative, To prevent black woman from having a voice against injustice, They have bad management blacklist black woman after getting evicted from here because of hard time's after covid knowingly knowing that black woman are the most blacklisted group effected by evictions making it extremely hard to find a place to live and being homeless right before they posting about mental health awareness day on google, Trash is always out that attracts flies and maggot's, Dog's peeing on the balcony, Dumpster's and soaking wet moldy furnisher set out that effects health one again, ETC, This place only cares about profits, They will evicted you for not paying during hard time's getting you blacklisted because you have been evicted but DON'T care about people of color's or low-socialeconomic background's of people health or well-being

Initially I dreaded relocating and moving from a house to an apartment, but after I visited West Ridge in Burlington over a year ago when I was in the process of trying to find a suitable apartment I was right away impressed with the friendliness and professionalism of Tina and Jeremy who patiently answered my questions and assisted with the paperwork. They made the transition go much smoother, and I haven't regretted moving here. It's just a wonderful place to be, because your home makes such a difference. I would definitely recommend West Ridge Apartments in Burlington Wisconsin as the ideal option for anyone who is tired of the stress of home ownership, but still wants to enjoy all of the amenities of a home, along with peace and quiet in beautiful surroundings.
It was also such a thoughtful surprise and really nice touch to be greeted by Tina, the manager, on the first day with a very practical "Welcome to West Ridge" tote bag which included not only goodies from Chocolate City (Burlington) and other useful items, but also valuable information about the apartments and general area, such as stores, things to do etc. which is especially helpful for anyone relocating from another state or area.
The apartments are spacious, clean, with large closets and attractive decor. Having your own washer and dryer in the unit is so convenient, not to mention having your own balcony or porch and attached garage, as well as a separate entrance for each tenant. The grounds are beautifully maintained in the Summer, and kept plowed and salted in the Winter. The entire complex is park-like and well designed, and the little pond with the waterfall is so relaxing and beautiful to look at, especially during these trying times.
If any type of maintenance needs to be done, Tina and Jeremy always respond quickly and expertly. They are both courteous and responsive to questions, and keep tenants informed at all times. They are very professional and make a great team. I am also impressed by the safety standards of the apartments, such as fire and smoke alarms, which is not always the case in other places.
Kudos to Tina and Jeremy for being an exceptional management team that truly makes a difference because they care about the residents and the place, and I hope they will remain here so that West Ridge can maintain its unique character that sets it apart from most other apartment complexes. Along with cheese curds and beer, West Ridge is one of the best things that the beautiful state of Wisconsin offers! Thank you both and keep up the good work! Renate W.
