A very reliable site where you can reserve items to pick up at an argos store or have delivered. Argos have a huge amount of products and almost all offer good value for money. Argos has over 20,000 products in many different sections. The only downside - you might find the odd item which is expensive.
I made the mistake of ordering a tv from argos online. When it didn't arrive I queried it. I spoke to 3 different people the one on the phone couldn't use a computer. I contacted them through instant chat only to be told conflicting answers. I'm. Shocked at the level of dumbness displayed. Argos are quick at grabbing your money but unable to fix anything when they make a mistake it's unlikely I will see my money again. There nothing more than thieves they steal your money and there's nothing you can do to get your money back and they don't provide the items why are they still allowed to operate
Just dont ever buy anything online for delivery. I spent 3 days waiting in for a fridge to come that never turned up. When it doesnt turn up you just have to wait and hope that someone calls you to arrange another date. Customer service can do nothing to arrange the delivery they are totally pointless. I would avoid at all costs
Ordered several Tu items of footwear for my three-year old through Argos click and collect at Sainsbury. I had to return a few of these back to Argos via the same store. My refund never arrived. I had to spend close to one hour on the live chat to attempt to get back the money rightfully owed to me. And even then when the refund eventually came through it was short of £12. I then had to attempt live chat again, which because of the appalling system just kept getting rejected. I persisted and one hour later I have been told I will get my owing £12 – time is to tell on that. At no point was there an apology for the inconvenience. If you don't mind wasting hours of your life trying to claim back refunds, then go ahead and shop with this store. I certainly won't shop with them again
Appalled at the level of customer service at Argos Oban store. I purchased a new vacuum yesterday which is obviously faulty. Took it back today however the staff and management were very dismissive and refused to refund or replace. I would not recommend Argos and will not be returning
Wont take tablet back which all other retailer do take back. Telephonic customer care said its on store desecration to decide if they take it back. Asked me to try different Argos stores.
Should have ordered on amazon who provide free return.
Consumer rights are not respected at Argos..
Ordered a product to be delivered, no one came. The item is now showing as cancelled in my accounts I have no idea why and they've taken the money out of my account
Unbelievable way to treat a customer, zero communication
This shop was used to good quality and if the product broke or was low quality you could return it with no issue. Now the quality of their products is very low. Children bike (purchased in December 2021 for Christmas gift) is literally falling apart, all pieces are wobbly, steering wheel is unstable, little pieces falling off and Argos wont accept return. Their supplier shifts blames on customer (they say the boke is well worn... 3 weeks after purchase... what 2,5 year old can wear off bike after 3 weeks?). It wasn't cheap either, over 100 pounds. Very poor quality service, awful product quality, AVOID, AVOID, AVOID!
Tip for consumers:

I purchased a pc which developed fault within months of purchase. Contacted Argos to return and in spite of consumer rights act they insist I contact manufacturer. Have explained time and again consumer act states they are responsible. Argos insist that I phone HP. During this time I live alone, no close family/friends I was taken to hospital and after number of visits was diagnosed with terminal lung cancer and was not able to use phone, on oxygen etc. I wrote to HP signed for twice and they failed to reply. In spite of above Argos are still insisting I phone HP to get PC exchanged. Its now been back n forwards for a year so I have no option but to take this arrogant law breaker to Court after Christmas, very difficult in my situation where my time is limited and perhaps this is what they are hoping for. No customer service no compassion and blatant disregard for the Law.
I purchased a duffel bag from Argos in UK. It did not last a single flight. Argos did not stand behind their sale: they suggested to return the bag to the store. This was impractical in my case: I do not reside in UK. I wrote a negative review in response of their request, and Argos declined to publish it. What can I conclude from this? Only that reviews on their site cannot be trusted.
In the picture the bag after a single flight on the night of the purchase.

Horrible experience, no care about customers. Will never ever use this store. I do not reccomend it to anyone as well as it just steals your money and especially time. Bought 1 Christmas tree which wasnt happy with but decided to give second chance and instead of waiting for money to ban card I chose gift card and added another 100quit. Received item which again was horrible quality as it had 3different type of branches on one tree. Thats silly habitat brand. So finally now its 2weeks so far, no money, no item. Item was returned. F you argos

Avoid at all cost

Tried returning an item bought in the covid lock down and finding it impossible to get either a refund or a replacement. They expect me to organise my own! This company does not follow the law with returns and repairs.
The local store manager at Barrow-In-Furness were rude and unhelpful. Instead of phoning the manager to ask for advice they ended up calling the police on me because she doesn't understand consumer rights. I will never shop at Argos again.
I've been trying to get a refund for the last 3 weeks. Guild has given me the reference number but Argos would not accept it. I've been in contact with about 8 different people in argos... and it still not over! They keep giving me contradictory information.
Purchase Bosch cordless vacuum November 2021 completely broke down April 2022 contacted Argos and directed to live chat, what a waste of time whoever I was in contact with was a complete waste of time. Informed that after 6 months it was up to me to have it repaired. I have in the past used Argos on numerous
Occasions, outcome very annoyed a customer who will spread the word
Brought a 3 arm rotary washing line from Argos took out the packaging to find you need to be 4ft 8 to comfortably use it,
Took back to store and was told as it's already been opened can not return money.
There was nothing saying on packaging about height of line just the line size so how can this be measured before opening.
If you have last minute presents to buy, avoid Argos at all costs. I ordered four presents in Novemeber, and despite several promises, including specific delivery dates, when my parents waited in for nothing.
My nephews now have nothing to open on Christmas morning, and I am sat in another country, in floods of tears, because i believed Argos' lies, and did not arrange to have something else delivered.
I will be taking legal action, and will be leaving regular reviews on social media and internet sites, to highlight the issue.
Argos, you have completely ruined Christmas for my family.
Incompetence from the very first communication. Lots of monkeys, no organ grinders (at least, the monkeys won't allow you to speak to an organ grinder). No decision making, l no problem solving, no customer service, no item, no refund.
Better still, each monkey spoken to threw different faeces. Time frames all different, lies, deceit. It's laughable, really.
Buy best of all - an item I know to have been recieved at Argos not only didn't automatically prompt a refund, 10 days later they decided to confirm with the courier that the item was returned to them. It is in their warehouse. They have seen it. They have touched it. They have ignored it for a week. But, process is process. Can't expect common sense, or competence, or an understanding of what Argos bearing the risk of items becoming lost or damaged in transit really means - and it isn't "we keep your money until the courier tells us what to do" as they think.

I ordered a t shirt online and paid for it then went to collect it. I was only in the sunderland high street store five minutes at the most the service was friendly, professional and very speedy well done
Tip for consumers:
if you pay online they have the goods ready for you at the counter
I bought a Babyliss Curler/straightener that they are currently advertising on the TV which costs £129.99. I opened it and tried it and it is useless. It does not curl my hair at all. I contacted Argos about it and they have basically said oh well too bad you have opened it so your stuck with it. I think in this day and age this is disgusting. I am now stuck with a £129.99 product that is of absolutely no use to me. I have been a customer of Argos for over 30 years but will never buy from them again. I also think its terrible that below standard products can be sold and you have no rights. How else am i supposed to know it would be rubbish other than opening it and trying it. I suggest anyone thinking of buying anything from there to think again as they are fine when you keep the product but not when you try to return it.

DO NOT buy directly from a store as Argos will NOT give you a refund by bank, you will have to go back to the store to get your money back. I am disabled and no transport and they still forced me to pick up my money from the store and refused to refund my money back to my bank. I would never buy from a store again, its so much hassle and customer support has been a nightmare, this morning they put the phone down on me despite me being polite. I have a really bad tremor and find telephoning very difficult. Now I have to get a taxi which will cost £40 in order to get a refund for a defective product
Argos were due to deliver us a bed today but called this morning to say the order could not be honored. We have just moved house, all our furniture is in storage so we will have to sleep on the floor. They have offered us a lilo as compensation. Pathetic.
What has happened Argos? Your customer service used to be excellent. Now it's virtually impossible to get to speak to a human and when I did finally get through to someone they were totally powerless to help.
Tip for consumers:
Buy somewhere else

We all know Argos are great, but my top tip is they sell all those items returned during their 14 day money back guarantee at a even lower price at their Argos outlet online. Check it out. I got a £350 Somy Sloggie for just £99 delivered. Cant recommend them enough.
What used to be a dependable stalwart on the high street is now disgraceful. Been waiting nearly 2 months for a refund (6 weeks since large item picked up by them) of several hundred pounds.
Lied to 4 times by chat staff as they said the refund had been done. Then twice by phone chat.
Gave up talking to them as I don't really want to be lied to. So have started legal proceedings instead.
Maybe a CCJ will make them think twice.
Such a shame a great British high street retailer with a great website has been wrecked. I wouldn't use them again. If you are getting large items with delivery, I'd look elsewhere.

I would like to change the delivery method from Store pick up to home delivery. But do not have an option to do that online. When I tried to reach the customer service it keeps me on hold for 30 mins for twice. One of the worst customer service
