We took our 2015 Ford Escape to Mark Martin Ford to have it fixed, They did fix it at no cost to us, Thanks to ASC Warranty Co. The people At ASC were very nice folks, completely understanding with us and the dealership. Every thing we were told needed repaired were fixed.All except a gasket which we were waiting till another date.
When I bought my car, the dealer offered an extended warranty through ASC Warranty. The warranty was to cover anything other than normal wear and tear (tires, etc), and since the car I bought was a Hybrid, it was added onto the warranty to cover anything related to that. That warranty cost me $2000 for one year.
Started having problems with the car almost immediately. Bells dinging, overheating warning flashing. Went in for repairs. Nothing wrong with it. But they found it needed new tie rods. ASC denied it. Had to pay for it myself. Few days later, bells dinging again. Back to a mechanic. They won't check it out without cash up front or ok from warranty co. ASC again denied again. This went on through 5 different mechanics over the course of 2 months. Later, took car in for tires at Firestone. Mechanic found a few things that needed repair (can't remember now) that were covered under warranty. ASC denied again! Then blower motor went out. ASC denied. Windshield motor went out. Yep, you guessed it, ASC denied again. Too bad we can't give ratings below one star because this company would certainly earn that.
Don't waste your money. Look for a better warranty company.
