When I first signed up on this website I was stumbled on scammers. I bought the premium platinum membership for 1 year. Most of women who messaged me in the first 2 weeks seemed to be from rich, developed countries... however after some talk, they start to ask from me my email... and this gave me the red signal. At first I was very suspicious, because we could have switched to Whatsapp or other social network instead. But later I decided to give those girls a chance, which resulted them spamming my inbox. Just expect that in the first 2 weeks you will be bombed with spams. But later I start to meet actually real women... but most of them were from poor families, with poor background or someone who were already married before and already raise children. Most women who messaged me in there were from Philippines. I decided to switch off my profile, because I actually was seeking for a muslim girl, but in Philippines there are a lot of Christians, and I found a lot of women who were atheists or agnostics, which is not a match for me. All of the relative websites work almost in the same manner, I bought the premium membership in another website called muslima.com, and like on this website once your premium is over, you can't see messages of others if you are both standard members and your attempt to leave your contacts in the bio might result in the deactivation of your account.

Before i parted with any money i got 30 replies YOOOOHHHO was i lucky or what Rubbish was i lucky also i was getting emails from people (women) who where supposed TO BE ONLINE and still AWAKE at 4.40 am their time NO WAY AVOID this site

If you give your bank account details to this site do so at your own risk they will clean your bank account out without you even knowing about it so don't give bank details to any of them

Be aware of many scammers. Asking to go on Skype to get you off the site. Many will also try luring you to get undressed on Skype, and then black mail you

I signed up for this site a week ago. I got a lot of interests from pretty woman. I had a free one hour trial and replied to this woman that sent me an interest. Luckily she was online. This woman viewed my profile and replied to my message saying that she is a transgender woman. Come on cupid! This is getting ridiculous... You need to separate these type of people from communicating us, straight men. I'm getting sick and tired of these transgender people on these sites thinking that they have the right to ruin the fun for guys that are looking for real woman. I don't mean to offend them... Maybe other guys like this kind of thing but I don't like it. I find it very unacceptable for these transgender men to dress up as ladies and write us men that are really looking for a real woman.

After that experience... I removed my photos off my profile and switched off my profile for good. I'm no longer coming back to this site ever again. I don't know what happened to this site... It seems like transgender boys are replacing the woman on this site to fill in the space for the site.

The manager needs to find a way to get a system to make these transgender communicate with their own type of sexuality. It sickens me that these type of guys have to bother us straight men and play the role as a woman. They need to be kicked off the site.

The problem I had was I live in a small town in Texas and it's not listed on their list to choose from. When I went to pay for a membership I couldn't because the town I live in is not on their list and there isn't any way to enter it. The city I had to use is 35 miles from where I live and doesn't match my credit card address, therefore I can't pay, which sucks because I found a lady 200 miles from me and she had contacted me and I can't respond back. SUCKS BIG TIME.

You would think Cupid would do a better job monitoring their sites. Some of the scammers stand out to the point that only a blind person wouldn't see it. The most obvious are Filipino women working in China on a work visa. They all are under 40 yet are looking from men from 20 to 90 (not just a few, but 99% of them are looking for the same age group).

Here's how it works:

You write or they contact you. They spend a few messages telling you how great you are and you are the one. The contract with the people they work for is about to expire and you need to act quickly otherwise they have to sign another year contract. So send money so they can get a tourists visa (impossible to get) to come visit you and they can tell the people they work for they are not going to sign another contract to work for them.

The provide details where to send the money. Good chance they are working with someone else (male) and would split the money you send if you bite. OR you have been talking to a male the whole time who just happens to have some great female photos.

If you bite - your money is gone and so is the girl.

I'm sure there is a variance to the above scenario but in general that is how it works. There is not one girl who is working in China on a work visa that is legit. Why Cupid doesn't do anything about it is a scam in itself. I even wrote them and it was ignored.

This site has popups to "renew membership." I accidentally clicked on it, yet they wouldn't refund me. Also, the site has lots of fake profiles, many of which appear to be site-generated.

It is very weak and slanderous date site for an out going person, as soon as I started explaining to a couple of females about my profession, I was kicked off by the administrators of the site, and they really get piss when you offer the email or phone numbers to other ladies to get to know them on your own, it not like I am one of those scammers that show a pretty picture and never want to come on the cam while your on Skype, that is totally defeating the purpose of dating on the site, they try to micromanage a little bit too much, maybe I my return to the site in a priest outlook and act domestic or like an older guy in his 90ies, I give Date in Asia site two thumbs down, and de-boner.

It's a wonderful site for meeting good people and hopefully a future spouse. I'm interested in several women who have messaged me about this.

I joined AD about 3 years ago with a one year membership. I coversed with several people but got busy and did not have time to meet anybody. I took a year off and tried again. This time I did actually meet a nice girl from the Philippines. She was very expensive flying back and forth to see me and her money for school, famly issues and sick cow did take a lot of money. She then ended up going to the USA.

Since then I have been in contact with 3 lovely ladys. The first two are in Manila and we made plans to meet and see if we liked each other. I got to Manila and received a text from the first saying my aunt is having a birthday and I cannot make it. This is after a 14 hour flight and did not sit well with me. The second one I was going to meet had to schedule the next day as she suddenly was asked to work a Saturday evening. I did not hear from her for a week.

I have just started making plans with a third person. She is from CDO, so she needs to fly to Manila. All was going well, she sent her name and I found flights. Of course, all of a sudden, she has decided to book the tickets because she got a better price. She was right, her price was only half what I could find. This site is the most *** desing what i even have used, they just are a cash grab

1- Bots 80% or 90%: every "interested" person on you is a bot, how do you identify a bot? Easy... they come with a new account, with 1 photo, without any filled information and they come and add you to favorites, look your profile, show interest and send some variations of the same message.

2- Scammers: If you get "lucky" to get a response from any member, beware this is going probably to be another MAN using a fake profile tying get your number bank account or email to deposit you fake checks without funds.

3- *** site: imagine yourseft paying a EXPENSIVE membership (more than tinder) only to be able to read a single message from other members, so stupid, whats the point of making this website free if you actually can only see other people pictures?. Having 0 ways to contact him if you are a free member, forcing you to pay only to have a oportunity to say "HELLO" to someone.

Of course if you are blessed guy you probably get a 3% probablylity of being contacted by a woman with a gold or platinum membership and chat without restrictions (LOL)... or if you are a average pretty woman get flooded with messages of 50+ year old mans with paid memberships.

TL DR: stay away from this sites or any site of CUPID MEDIA because they are the same group, don't waste your time

In Asian dating, I got more than several contacts. In less than a month after I signed up for the site gold membership subscription. And even more contact requests than the women I tried to meet on Thai Cupid. I would advise getting a month gold subscription. 3 months gold at the max, since these should be plenty of time to find yourself some friends or lovers. And beside, not only do the costs add up, 30 dollars for one month, 60 dollars for three months up, but some of the features you find as a platinum member, like being able to translate your English to a Vietnamese who speaks only Vietnamese, might just be a waste of money to you (cause what would be the point meeting her or him if you can't communicate from the get go? This thought bubble is coming from an impatient guy like me, but if your down with learning your girlfriend language for easy communication if your interested in language learning, go for t man! XD) . In short, easy to use website, very responsive, guarantee to get messages from real girls if their interested to you.
