I have pulled my funding and have applied it to other areas. In a non-profit organization, a CEO should not be making as much as they have reported...over $800,000.00
I will never donate to such money sucking ceo. Really, the ceo is worth that? I'm not paying for that!
All or most monies go to CEO. The aspca don't care about the animals just their pockets. Commercials are very sad and people want to help. But most monies go into their pockets, making millionaires.
Instead of showing the good job they do. They show how bad the pets look when they find them. Insane
The ceo Matt makes $424 dollars an hour. So. Where exactly does all the money people donate go?! Why exactly does the ceo of a donating organization make $424 dollars an hour
Today, on July 4,2023, I was stopped by 2 ASPCA donation reps upon entering and exiting my neighborhood pet supply store. I really wasn't in the position to donate at the time after purchasing food for my cat. However, being a pet owner on a budget, I asked if I could make a one-time donation instead of having to donate on a monthly basis (considering I also didn't want the hassle of having to cancel a subscription later on) and I was pretty much conned into making a $25 donation that included a monthly subscription anyway. Later, I realized after researching online that I could have made a one-time donation in "any amount" after I was made to feel like it was completely impossible to do face-to-face! I also read that only 77 cents of every dollar actually go towards the care of the animals and that the CEO is making $800,000 + a year! None of this made any sense to to me - a person who wasn't in the position to give in the first place! To make matters worse, I called the company to cancel my monthly subscription only to find that the office was closed today, July 4th - meanwhile, their reps are working to collect donations today. Unfortunately, this whole experience has completely changed my mind about donating to a charity such as the ASPCA ever again! My response will be a flat out "NO" next time!
If the person st the top is making $800,000., their concern is not for the animals! THAT IS JUST PLAIN COMMON SENSE! If it was they would be giving a share of that back!
ASPCA has a rating of 1.5 stars from 48 reviews, indicating that most customers are generally dissatisfied with their purchases. ASPCA ranks 19th among Animal Rights sites.
