I would like to say positive things about this company, BUT, at this time I am completely frustrated! I spoke with a nice person at the FCC, because even though I qualify for the unlimited data plan Assurance Wireless keeps taking me off.
The phone isn't bad, the people that I have talked to at Assurance Wireless say that I am on the unlimited data, and yet still keep shutting me off it! The company is a poor company to frustrate people like they do. I don't blame the employees, I blame the company. The employees only do what they are told to do.Please straighten out things there, and let's start getting some 5 star reviews!
Since the merger with sprint it has gotten worse.zero customer service, horrible attitudes on the phone, just disgusting seeing how I've been with them for years, anyone wishing to join class action theft of service fraud suit contact LA firm Pearson Simon and Warshaw
The customer service is the worst. They don't help they just hang and when you try to talk to a supervisor they blow you off and put you on hold. I have an unlocked thats compatible with any phone and they refuse to let me use to. If it wasn't for the customer service I would be happy but the company is ran by nothing but Asian people that can barely speak English.
First rep told me my phone number would be transferred in a week. Then NOTHING.
Second rep told me my phone number would be transferred in a week and my request was being escalated to a supervisor.
Third rep told me my phone number would be transferred, my request was being escalated to a supervisor and the request was being put to their "back office". Then they informed me that I can only transfer my number by calling from a third party phone and being on the phone while they transfer the number.
Weeks of "We care and we will transfer your number" to "You have to be on the phone to transfer your number"
The insurance wireless representative lack knowledge of their products, when addressing an issue, they promise to call you back and they never do. Also when you fill out their application if you make one mistake they deny you even though Texas lifeline approved you. I waited close to one month and then they denied me for no reason other than I made one mistake in their application. Don't even bother. By Richard Telles
Assurance wireless / T - mobile
They interrupt your service every month and redirect your calls to them for no legitimate cause. Then they want you to waste your time verifying yourself for no cause. Its ridiculous. I guess i should expect crappy service when it's T- mobile owned. Its not a wonder their rating is 1.4
These people bate you saying by ordering you will have unlimited. They said that I would have to drop my internet provider. Why if I qualify for the government phone. They don't tell you until you call and that's sick I don't not recommend them and I really want to sue them for false advertisement.
Phone still under warranty, and yet I was asked to give my bank info to some random Indian guy for shipping? Since when do I need to pay shipping for a replacement for a free phone that was shipped for free the first time? I could tell by how he over explained the process that the policy is "new" as of last month. And that the shipping fee is justified because THEY shouldn't have to pay for MY phone to be shipped. It was obviously a lie. Assurance Wireless is employing scammers and I'm absolutely livid that I can't even receive customer support without someone trying to scam me...
I made several calls beginning on the 7th of July. I was told by 3 representatives I would receive a replacement phone. We went back and forth on me paying a $20 fee for shipping and it being free. A supervisor walked me through making a payment for over the phone with no shipping fee. I paid $9.99 for the phone totalling $11.01. She called me.back after I told her I was going with another company. With no notice, they told me what she had said was invalid and I would be charged for shipping. They listed my phone as being lost or stolen when they knew the phone kept restarting. When I told them I was switching companies service was unavailable after I could in fact use the phone connected to a charger before then. They acted like they didn't understand what was going on. I was supposed to have service until I was approved with another company. Working on getting my money back.
I have had nothing but problems with assurance wireless service. The phones that they provide are cheap and they suck, they are slow and the data that is provided with their service plan is only five gigabytes for every month of service. 5 GB of data is useless! When assurance wireless promises to give you unlimited data, talk and text they are deceiving people who don't know what they are getting into. I would not recommend insurance wireless to anyone ever. I could go on and list multiple issues and problems that I have had when assurance wireless was my carrier and service provider however I don't have the time now. I think people who read this post will get the general message.
