Purchased this shower set from Home Depot. Installers had the stationary door already set in nicely then put in the sliding glass. Ten minutes later it blew up in a million pieces. Shattering glass over my installers arms & head. Sent a email, no answer, no answer to their call center either. Do not recommend this Co. At all.

We are trying to reach to Aston customer service over one week ago by calling and emailing but there is no response! Is the company went out of business? We spent hundred of dollars for their product. They should prioritize inbound questions customer have, otherwise more poor reviews like mine will deter future customers. This is unacceptable as a business that they don't even reply to either email or phone call. We are so disappointed. Please get back to us if you see this comment!
How can tub doors ever fit a 60 alcove tub. When it's designed for 59 1/2 to 60 1/2 inches. These are direct to stud tubs, which need some sort of cement board, usually 1/2 and then either tile or a smooth service which requires the same sub structure. Add those up you get a finished opening of 58 to 59 at best. Who designs these things? Technical support hung up on me when I asked them this question. Never buy this tub surround from Aston as it won't fit a 60 inch alcove tub with finished walls...
Tip for consumers:
Don't use Aston

Had to have a custom.3/8 inch glass cut for the tub
Went shopping for showers found one at menards (rays list) bought it brought it home put it all together and no shower handle. Contacted Aston to buy a new handle after giving them all my information and calling them back several times I still have not received my shower handle. Ordered handle on 4/26/21, I'm willing to buy a new handle because Ray's List is "as is" for some reason they won't sell it. Last time I talked with someone they said it was ready to be shipped out and that was on 5/3/21.
Tip for consumers:
Check reviews before buying Aston's reviews were all bad

We purchased a shower door and the first time we turned on the water to use it the door exploded cutting my husband's feet and other parts of his body. He also had pieces of glass in his hair. We contacted the service department. A person emailed us back and asked us to send pictures which we did. He then said he was going to send it on to the resolution department. We have sent several emails inquiring about the status of our situation but cannot get anyone to return our emails. We are very disappointed that the company does not stand behind its product and would not recommend this company or their product.
I finally got ahold of a helpful manager at Home Depot. He managed after many attempts to get ahold of Aston Global with the help of his Purchasing Manager. I sent him the list of parts we needed and he communicated that to Aston.
Without warning, after much pleading but with no communication from Aston Global, a large box suddenly arrived... unfortunately, they sent the wrong panel :( :( :( so we are back to square one... and... my negative reviews have still not been posted on Homedepot.ca!
Why does home depot still carry this product? It is clearly a terrible product. They should fear liability issues. We bought our aston global shower surround from home depot in 2018 and had it professionally installed. This past April 2021, it exploded in the middle of the night with no warning, not having been used for hours. It damaged our bathtub 4 feet away. Home depot will do nothing to help and have not posted rhe reviews I put on their website. As for Aston Global, not sure if this company even truly exists in North America? Chinese garbage with an address in USA to make it look legit?!?
Terrible terrible. The shower door they sent was completely the wrong color. I went round and round with them just to get the right trim color. Finally got them to agree to send the correct trim. It takes a week and a half to get them to ship it out. Then they didn't send the handles or the side trim. I am so fed up with this company. It's pretty much impossible to get anyone on the phone and you can forget an email response. TERRIBLE!
I requested missing parts for a TDR976-CH-60-10 bathtub shower enclosure that was shipped directly from Aston Global. E-mailed pictures to Mr. Hernandez in the Parts Department of the parts I received with the request to supply at my cost the missing ones. No one seems to be answering phones there. Still waiting. Good to know other people have the same experience.

Hi,
On sept 14 I sent an email to Austin Technical Service Representative and asked for a spare knob for my shower panel SPGL306. I sent some images for the issue as per his request. He replied that they will be happy to supply the part if I pay the cost of shipping. I confirmed that. He replied that they will receive these parts on next Monday and will contact me for payment. However he never contacted me nor replied to my two next emails. I think this should be corrected by immidiate response of Aston after sale services.
We purchased the Langham frameless shower door. The day we installed the door, my installer had a question. We called the service department, got no answer, of course, so we left a message. We have tried calling and emailing for over a week with no response. The door seals do not work. There is water all over my floor. There is a 1/4 space under the door. It's a shame to spend so much money and not get quality or service.
I dont know where to even begin. Let's start off with the first problem ordered th 32in and on the website and instruction manual both say the unit size is 32 3/16 wide. Well the unit is nowhere near that but actually 31 1/2. Next problem is that it suppost to be frameless and so it has 2 magnetic strips that is supposed to hold the door to the wall and create a seal. These magnets are so weak they not only can't keep a seal but the magnets can't even hold a 16 penny nail. Thirdly the shelves that come with it. The glass shelves are thicker than the brackets that are supposed to slide onto them so cant even install them. Horrible product and nowhere near worth the price for such garbage.
I bought a frameless shower from home depot canada and it took 2 months to arrive with missing hardware and the customer service rep told me it would cost to much to send the hardware to me ao i should just return the 350lb shower, i would not recoomend buying anything from aston bath
Nice "looking" door HORRIBLE OIL RUBBED BRONZE FINISH. The finish peels right off. And when I received replacement parts, the contractor noticed THIS was rubbing off as well. I called ASTON global and they indicated that the warranty does not extend to replacement parts. WHAT? So if a claim receives broken replacement parts, you consider that satisfaction of the warranty. DO NOT BUY FROM ASTON. That is my warning to you.

Bought Kamaya shower door. Installed it. We had to do a touch up on the shower pan near the black track. Put blue painters tape on it to protect the track. After 10-minutes removed the tape, and the black finish all peeled off. Called the warranty department and the only thing they said was that they cant help us because it did not arrive damaged. If blue painters tape peels off the finish on a track of a $1,500.00 dollar shower door it was defective the day it left factory. Cant wait to see if soap washes off the finish when you clean it. But then again, it was not damaged when it arrived.
Warranty department is as good as the door. When I asked what type of finishing process was used on the track he did not even understand what I was talking about. When I asked what color black, and the manufacturer of the black it was so we could fix it our selves he told me matte black. So clueless about their own product he did not know that matte black was the finish not the manufacturer, or the color of black I requested.
This is NOT a quality product. The manufacturer does not stand behind its product. The manufacturer does not know its own product. As a Architect, professional builder, and owner of Design Build firm for over 25 years I would stay away from this manufacturer. Very disappointing for my company, but more disappointing for my customer.
We purchased an Aston Kinkade shower door (SDR997) from Home Depot on Oct. 27,2020 ( order #CM*******). We picked up the shower door on Nov. 2,2020, and had it installed by a licenced, bonded and insured contractor on Nov. 9,2020. Then on Wednesday around 7:00PM March 3,2021, it just exploded. We loved the door and it seemed perfect. There were no issues with the door, and no one had been in the bathroom for several hours when the door suddenly exploded. The door was never bumped, jarred, or chipped. We are now fearful of installing another glass door. Aston refused to honor their warranty. Aston made up some excuse about a plastic strip on the outer edge of the door not being installed, which according to my contractor, would have no bearing on the glass door exploding. Aston blamed the installer and refused to honor their warranty. Customer service is horrible, it took 2 months, emails and 14 phone calls to get through to Aston customer service. We want a refund or replacement. Aston refused.
Tip for consumers:
Stay away from Aston Global products.

Tried to contact costumer service and technical support over a door purchased 8 months ago that randomly shattered a few nights ago in the middle of the night. Completely shattered at 1 in the morning scaring everyone thinking it was an intruder coming into our home. Tried contacting Home Depot first and they told me they couldn't help me and to contact Aston directly. Well, you get their voicemail every time you call and no call back, nor no email back yet they state they will call you or email within 1 business day. Very upsetting as now we have no shower glass door and it has also put some nice gashes and dents into our newly remodeled tub and tile floor in our bathroom. I can't believe their customer service and had I looked into this company more before this I wouldn't have purchased to begin with. The satin black on our what we though was so beautiful slider french door was also randomly peeking at the top of the track. What poor quality. Hoping to get a response still so I can get reimbursed hopefully as it hasn't even been a year of having this door.
I recently remodeled a small bathroom, installing Aston Global's Vanora frameless shower doors. The seals and sweeps have leaked since they were installed. I tried to buy (I wasn't asking for free replacement) replacement sweeps and seals both in local retail outlets and online, but without success. Finally I emailed Aston Global itself. The response I got was that replacement seals and sweeps are not available anywhere but through Aston Global and would be available to me only if I sent them pictures of the leaky ones, as well as proof of purchase of the shower doors. I have sent the pix they required as well as copies of my purchase receipt, but have been told that they never received them, in spite of the fact that I have emailed the pix numerous times from both my computer and my phone. How can you do business in this manner?
Sitejabber did its job wonderfully. The day my review of Aston Global appeared on Sitejabber, I got an email stating that they were sending me replacement seals and sweeps free of charge. While I would never do business with them again, they did solve my issue, but only after I visited one of my new favorite websites-Sitejabber!
Unresponsive unreliable customer service. Andre promised many times to correct their mistake, but never did - took over a month. Terrible...
Just completed with the installation of this frameless shower enclosure I am pleased with the finished product, BUT not very pleased with Aston all types of phone numbers telling you they are here 24 for support just to let others no there is no support as the installation manual and drawings are pretty sad, much to be desired could have made it a lot easer with a little thought instead as usual these companies believe they are dealing with engineers not the average home owner, I found several mistakes from the get go, so several times I called no response what so ever just a voice message telling you to refer to the manual yes the manual I had questions on so for me and I dare to say many others no support what so ever, fortunately being in the construction business I worked things out for myself, which took me that much longer to install but for the average home owner it will be very confusing give this a lot of thought as if you make a mistake it will be major, just to start they are telling you to mount your wall mounts off the tiled wall 48 inches that is impossible as the base is 48 inches with the base set againsed the stud so you ac tile over the lip of the base you have just reduced the base by one half inch so now your base measures 471/2 inches to keep the glass shower wall inside the shower base imposable to put mounting brackets at 48 inches now your shower wall will be outside of base, this is just one mistake double check before you start drilling tile, there are more but I will not go into right now, just to let all who are interested in this product if you phone the *******699 you may as well piss in the wind there is no support. I will come back to this just to see if they posted or removed, Tony Mclaughlin.
