Having struggled with friends, family and business associates for several weeks, and coming up with almost nothing that really really suited as I had a very clear idea of the desired outcome, I happened upon squadhelp, opted for the Managed contest and will never regret that decision. The result exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much. You guys are just so supportive and incredible
Squadhelp is just a fraudulent company. They cheat you buy selling coins and simply reject your domains with fake and so called Expert reviews. Will always show 0/13 Expert Reviews even for domains that have a good appraisal value (manual). Their Expert review system is just an automated process to reject 92% of the names randomly. If you check their inventory or domains which are already listed/approved - they could be of worse quality than the ones which were rejected for your account. The review process is another joke. If you submit manual review for your Names it will never be attended to. You should only wait for weeks and then months without any progress. If you contact their customer support - they would just give copy/paste reply. I would suggest all to stay away from these fraudsters and save your hard earned Money, Time and unwanted headache.
I think the best way to describe my experience with SquadHelp was average. The site was good, the price was fair, and the ideas/names were ok. I felt like a lot of the submissions were retreads from similar agency naming exercises with little strategic thought put against our brief. I'm 50/50 if I'll use the site again and it will probably ultimately depend on the parameters of what I'm looking for.
Please check the domain availability as much as possible. In my case, I chose two domain possiblities,".com", and ".me". Most of names are okay with ".me", but not-okay with ".com". It is a bit difficult to know this in your entries.
Customer support has been excellent. The entries excellent. The process excellent. Great experience for my first time although I did make a mess and secured the domain before notifying the winner. Sincere apologies... won't happen again!
The whole experience was a blast...This is my first business and as I'm building everything on my own...it was really scary...but even with the huge time difference the Squadhelp team was there to support! A big thank you to everyone. Regarding the experience with the creatives community.I don't have a word to qualify the quality of proposal I got...and the speed...crazy efficient. This was hard to make the final choice but all the customers survey and the Trademark helped me to bring some pragmatic elements in my choice. I will definitely recommend that to everyone that needs name for their business. Thanks again
Overall costs were unusually above average. Staying engaged with the Creatives was particularly taxing on time and energy. Although, my contest was completed over Easter weekend did not do me any favors. It was indeed most taxing. The time required to provide feedback is not a sustainable business model.
I also noted that most of the top performers were not consistent. There should be a cap on how many Creatives can enter a contest.
There should also be a lower tiered contest price structure. Possibly restructuring or running a special discount periods once a week, or twice a month. Varying the take away for your community of Creatives would improve participation and take away on both the Creatives and the clients.
I asked for a brand name. I had a pre-conceived idea of what I wanted. The winning entrant not only gave us our new name, which was completely different to our ideas, but through that name, they have ultimately given our business a whole new direction! Thanks Squadhelp!
This is a really efficient and easy way to tap into a pool of creative minds to find the perfect name for your business. I'll definitely be making use of the service in the future for naming products too!
Very effective platform for naming a business or product. The large number of contestants ensure a big variety of styles to choose from. You really have to put in the time to respond to every one in order to get the most out of it. Giving good feedback is crucial.
I was very surprised at the number of great entries I received. There were a lot of creative entries and options to consider. I followed the guidance to rank submissions on a regular (daily) basis, which worked as it encouraged others to submit names. The momentum continued to build throughout the contest to the very end. I would certainly use again.
Wonderful experience. I was so happy with the service, options, communication, user friendly website...I highly recommend using it. I told all my friends about it as well as other small business owners and start-ups. I am so glad I found the website and I have no regrets.
I had a good experience with over 700 entries for a company name. Most were not very good but I still ended up with a shortlist of about 5 to 10 which was enough for me to choose from. I will probably be back for more contests.
I think it is an excellent way of getting very different concepts - normally if you brief an agency you get a narrow range. Please note that I took some time to select the winner as I had to present all options to a team and wait on them to select the winner.
This was my first experience of crowd sourcing anything. The submissions were outstanding and the choice was very difficult. A big thank you to everyone that submitted. The only thing I did not like about squadhelp was lack of clear instructions on how to proceed and how to complete the process. I will definitely be using them again for a tagline.
I didn't know what to expect and was a little hesitant to do this service. Everyone that submitted was very responsive and eagerly submitted based on my feedback. I liked having many options and how quickly the project moved. I would recommend to others.
I take pictures of people, animal that what i axulary do when am all alone at work home or anywhere i go
It would be very helpful to be able to upload pictures to show examples for example or make edits to submissions and show them what is meant by "this color" or "make it longer right here"...and show with an arrow etc. Having to ask the staff to upload pictures seems like wasting the staff's time. A great service and some nice talent participated. I liked the contestants were willing to do edits and were creative, but for the price wish they had branding experience so they were giving me suggestions vs me having to ask for so many edits. Overall I'm happy with my logos but only because I guided them, googled ideas and had to show them fonts when they all kept using a standard cursive instead of something creative like I asked for. They were willing to make as many edits as I asked for, but wish they had not required me to spend the time on a job I paid them to do.
Squadhelp was a great and easy tool to use for our new product name. The site was easy to learn and we got some great suggestions. I would highly recommend this to any company that has trouble thinking outside of the box or is looking for a unique name.
Overall the submissions were quite poor. Out of hundreds of submissions there was only ONE that we found acceptable. Without that one, the campaign would have been a total waste of our time and money. We won't use this service again
This was my first time. I was somewhat confused about how the timing would work and had little idea of how much work would be involved. I ended up pausing my contest for a week while I was away and then restarting it. But it took a decent amount of work to keep up with the submissions, give feedback and evaluate names. And it was fun. :)
Not sure I can offer any suggestions as I found the whole process great and was really comfortable throughout. I am very new at this and found from the outset it was clear and easy to provide feedback and communicate any enhancements to the brief and creators. Definitely will recommend. Also a thank you to all the creators with their great ideas and continued participation. Thank you
Maybe consider an option where you can also have creatives see what other are posting, this may kind of help the process build like one huge team meeting. I liked this process as well but I think maybe letting contest holders have the option plus there would probably be self selection of creatives. More amateurs might like the team aspect, creatives that are more experienced might opt for either.
This has been a stressful but amazingly fun process. Every time I checked there were many new, fabulous submissions. The creatives made my final decision really, really hard as there were so many fantastic names offered up...some literal, some smart. My first shortlist was 68 names. It has taken me hours to cut it down to the winner. It was very hard to say no to some of them!
The website becomes a little heavy and slow to respond once the submissions begins to flood in, but I suspect that is more of an issue with my browser and laptop. Also, there should be an easier way to refresh the webpage without losing all of my current filters, which would make is easier to manage new submissions. Everything else is great!
Once again, the process was easy and the options to choose from were varied and well executed. Also, as we narrowed in on our final choice, the designer was very helpful in looking at color options, etc.,
Overall, very pleased with the experience. However, it was frustrating that many of the contestants were not, for whatever reason, taking note of the messages to all, or the comments to them directly attached to their submissions.
