Having struggled with friends, family and business associates for several weeks, and coming up with almost nothing that really really suited as I had a very clear idea of the desired outcome, I happened upon squadhelp, opted for the Managed contest and will never regret that decision. The result exceeded my expectations. Thank you so much. You guys are just so supportive and incredible
Squadhelp is just a fraudulent company. They cheat you buy selling coins and simply reject your domains with fake and so called Expert reviews. Will always show 0/13 Expert Reviews even for domains that have a good appraisal value (manual). Their Expert review system is just an automated process to reject 92% of the names randomly. If you check their inventory or domains which are already listed/approved - they could be of worse quality than the ones which were rejected for your account. The review process is another joke. If you submit manual review for your Names it will never be attended to. You should only wait for weeks and then months without any progress. If you contact their customer support - they would just give copy/paste reply. I would suggest all to stay away from these fraudsters and save your hard earned Money, Time and unwanted headache.
We found the experience interesting, the entries were of a high standard. We should have researched for our brief a little better, but that was our problem. All in all a delightful experience and the outcome was excellent.
I had many great submissions and, although, I slightly modified the name submitted by the winner, I wouldn't have come up with it without his idea. Many of the designers worked very hard to play with concepts and come up with creative alternatives. I highly recommend putting work into your brief and giving helpful feedback. You may find that what you thought you wanted changes as the ideas come up and you are better able to refine your brand. That's the value of crowdsourcing!
The whole process was very good. My only complaint is that the sheer number of names to choose from was a bit overwhelming. Having a lot of names is a good thing though so that's not really a complaint.
This was our first time to use Squadhelp. We loved it. The only thing we wish we could do is send photos directly to individual creatives whose vision most closely aligned with our vision. Other than that, this was great. Thanks!
I'm very happy about the service. I suffered to find a good name for weeks, and then I decided to subscribe to a naming project here. I got more than a hundred proposals and finally I got the one I was looking for. The website is very good, the process is well organized and the community is very reactive and talented.
I propose this service for everybody who wants to find a really good name for its business.
Its was difficult to track things through the site. Secondly, the confusion regarding the launching of my project was of concern then the confusion with the creative who did not follow instructions to begin with.
Squadhelp is excellent. It's awesome to have access to a whole world of creatives with great skills and ideas. The customer service from the Squadhelp team is also exceptional - prompt, polite, knowledgeable and helpful.
Overall, we were very impressed with the quality of work submitted by the creatives. Customer service was easy to contact, quick to respond and eager to help. We would definitely recommend SquadHelp to others
Although the experience with the SquadHelp staff & website was easy and seamless, I found the submissions from the Creatives were not of quality. It made me question if the people submitting were really Creatives in the copywrite/branding business or just random people looking to make a quick buck. I would say about 90% of the submissions were lacking of creativity, thought, charm, or anything of value. It was clear the Creatives did not understand my description of what I was looking for, nor in the direction I was going (even though, in my opinion, I made it quite clear). Some of them didn't even get simple references to pop culture that I mentioned.
I will not be using this service again. Unfortunately, I felt like it was a waste of money and time.
Thank you.
I really enjoyed this process. I ended the contest early though because one of the creatives sparked me to choose my own name. It was through their help though that I thought of it so want them to be compensated for their idea. Thank you so much for your help
They give high quality service to buyers and sellers of brand names.
SquadHelp really helped me in my needy time. Truly Thanks.
Very valuable service. Fast sourcing of possible names that have a URL. Downsides were so many name possibilities, many of which were lousy was a big time commitment. Would have liked the chance to invite friends or experts to help me rate and rank amongst my top choices - as was, I had to do that in a google sheet. Also, two little weird pieces - I didn't realize that "names we like" in the initial survey was possible company names we already like... Thought it was names of other companies we liked. Also, I got subtle pressure from someone to tip, which felt like a social norm that wasn't clear from the get go.
I love the whole idea of holding a contest! Also before I submit my contest there is a very comprehensive questionery, 'brief',which helps to target the right names and ideas. Thank you for the whole team!
What an enjoyable experience to work with brilliant creatives to design a perfect name for my website! I was blown away by the ideas, the energy, and excitement in the contest. Wonderful experience and I have already used them again to name my book!
Great creative ideas. And the contestants are willing to resubmit designs with any feedback. My contest winner was EXTREMELY supportive and accommodating with my design needs.
TONS of compliments on my logo.
This was our first time using Squadhelp and holding a contest - we had a fabulous experience. We learnt so much about our own business through holding this contest and want to thank all the creatives for their amazing entries and energy.
The only issue I had was that you continued to send emails encouraging me to purchase/use the Trademark and Audience Rating services which I had already purchased and had already implemented. You really need to run a script to separate out the people that purchase the higher package that have already purchased your extra services before your send your automated emails.
Everything about the Squadhelp experience has been fantastic. The contest was a huge success and we selected a name we would never have thought of without the help of the amazing creatives who participated.
The naming contest had a shortlist tab that was convenient to have, but the logo contest didn't. Would have been nice to have that option in the logo contest as well. Also the comments for the logo contest not being visible unless you moused over the extra options icon was less convenient than the naming contest where you could see the comment straight away.
Overall my experience with the tools and customer service was terrific. It was so simple to use and easy to get help. I couldn't be happier with the creativity and support I received throughout the entire process.
Squadhelp was a great experience - it really felt like we had a team of creatives sat in our office for the duration of the contest. Interacting with the creatives was easy and really improved output and direction.
I don't see any area to improve. The service, site and support is great. The creatives are talented. This is my second contest and, for sure, if I will need this kind of service, this will be the place to go.
My experience had issues because of the lack of ability to send pictures to creatives. They seem to not understand what I say in text. It's a big issue to have to continue to try to explain what you want by text over and over and again, and continue to receive incorrect revisions. There's a need to be able to send pictures in order to get EXACTLY what colors and design you want conveyed to your creative. I paid to use one creatives color because most creatives didn't use the correct color. Then two bonuses to another creative to use their design, but still didn't get what I want because of the communication issue.
We had a great experience with Squadhelp team and creatives. We received a lot of great names! The support team was very responsive and helpful. And we are happy with the new name for our company. Thanks to Creatives!
I don't know if there is anything you can do to make it better, but I did notice a lot people had to submit a name with a different ending. Maybe allow them to have a box with the name and another box with different ending. For example: Keypoint property group Keypoint group Keypoint homes Keypoint properties
