I've never owned a pair of their in-ear sets. But I have owned a pair of over the ear 1's & the sound I got from those can't be matched with anything not even beats.
To be fair AT is a Japanese premium line of Studio Recording Audio equipment so there on a whole different level than other brands who's main buyer's are just there for listening purposes. That being said if you buy these and just use them for a listening experience they will blow you out of the park. You get maximum clarity with everything blending in as it should & the end result is pleasant to listen to.
Imo I don't think there overpriced but their top model is $1000 so not something for everybody I know. But you can be sure they'll last a lifetime as I've had my pair for 5+ years dropped them off my desk, ran over the cords, & even spilled liquid on them & they still function like new. I used to be an avid buyer of Skullcandy stuff but they break down too easily so not anymore.
Tip for consumers:
If your "REALLY" into music, u will love these. But I don't recommend buying anything over the $300 range unless your a professional musician. U won't need anything that expensive just for casual listening.
I just want to say thank you for your quality. Every sound, every track that I have listened to in your headphones it's like a gift to me. You make me fall in love with my favorite music again.
