I bought a 2005 Audi TT Quattro, which I love. I had to change the battery and the radio went into "Safe" mode so I need the 4 digit code, which only the dealership can provide. They quoted me $190 to remove the radio in order to get the serial No. I looked it up, bought a tool for $8, and removed it myself within a couple minutes. Now they insist that I bring my car in so they can hook it up to a diagnostic machine and get the code that way and are going to charge me $190. They created an unnecessary procedure just to charge $190. I knew I would pay more for service when I needed it but this is like extortion. Audi treats it's customers like $#*!!
Leased a 2020 A5 convertible. Was my first and is my last Audi. Customer care is minus a million. Was sold prepaid service claiming " it is cheaper and will get the last service $500 if not used" found out that was a lie, the contract states differently. The car had issues that were not fixed even after keeping the car for over 5 weeks at the dealer. Will never get another Audi, do not recommend Audi.
Audi USA consumer service non-Existent.
Audi USA consumer service have a rating of 2 stars and after dealing with them 3 times I find that overrated. When you expressed your concern and displeasure about a dealership (Audi of Newton) they tell you some mumbo jumbo that they don't have any provisions over them and they are independent authorized dealerships. Basically they can't do anything about your concern. In my assessment that's why the dealership is not consumer friendly because there are no accountability for their actions. It's very blatant Audi USA is just concerned about the dealership selling their products and not the customers buying their products. That's the main ingredient why for the last few years sales have declined and I have news for you - they will continue declining with this mentality.
This car has always been a competive car with beauty and can sell itself. But what took yall so long to upgrade? You are still beautiful and all staff should be commended. And when I make more money... im coming for you!
I took my car to be serviced by the Audi dealership in Pasadena, come to find out they had caused more damage than what it had originally had, I only had a problem with the heat gauge, it was going off and telling me the car as overheated so I took it to be repaired and paid 1700, only to be driving that same day I picked it up and have it go off again after calling them they told me to bring it back, which I did... four more times. I took it to the dealership and picked it up only to have the gauge revert back to its original problem, for a total of four times. After being assured that it was fixed the fourth time, I didn't even make it out of the lot before I noticed the steering wheel was significantly stiffer than it ever was. So returned it immediately just to be told to pay up an additional 1600 for it. The wheel was never a problem until the techs at Audi in Pasadena tried to fix the gauge. I tried to reason with them, and was constantly being bounced from different people in an attempt to shoo me, only after contacting the general manager who was no better than his employees have I resorted to this. This was the worst service I have ever received, it is such a disappointment to be driving a renowned car brand and have it ruined by one extremely poor dealership. I am still attempting to figure out options for my car which I still am not in possession of. If you own an Audi, I would recommend to drive an additional distance for another dealership just so you do not have to be serviced by this place.
