I don't do reviews! But in this case, I just had to. I got up this morning and my battery was dead. I jumpstarted it and went directly to AutoZone because online it stated that you could buy your battery there and they would install it for no additional charge. Well, they not only installed it, they provided me with a free battery terminal since the one that was on my vehicle was completely eaten away by acid. At no point did they ever make me feel that I was taking up their time. Kayden and Ronnie are great examples of what an employee is all about. They were very kind and understanding to my financial situation and they both spent their time fixing my vehicle. They also gave me helpful advice on how to avoid a buildup of corrosion on my battery again. Cayden suggested that I purchase for just a few dollars, something that would go on my battery to help prevent the corrosion. I have decided that if there are any other automotive needs that they can assist with, I will be taking my vehicle to this store only in the future. If anybody wants to know, the store is located on Roberta Way in Sparks. Believe me when I tell you, you will not be disappointed in being provided excellent service. I am handicapped, I went in and asked the manager if he could check my neighbors truck because the check engine light came on.
His response, I AM NOT ALLOWED to check your vehicle because of STORE POLICY!
He started to hand me the apparatus and told me I have to do it.
I AM HANDICAPPED, I CANNOT BE GOING UNDER THE DASH BOARD TO CHECK THE PROBLEM.
GET A NEW MANAGER because the one you have there is NO GOOD!
In Sept 2021 I installed an Autozone Durolast alternator in my collectable car. The alternator failed in mid July 2022. There were less then 600 miles on the alternator and it failed in less then 10 months. Bringing the alternator to the local Autozone the store would not replace the alternator. Granted I did not have the receipt, but Autozone is suppose to have a computer back up. They claimed I was not in the system. They wanted me to pay $170 for their replacement. I payed $170 in Sept 10 months earlier, so that was not going to happen. What I know is I installed a clearly marked Durolast alternator, it lasted less than 10 months, less than 600 miles and Autozone wad not going to stand tall on this issue. So I will never purchase anything from Autozone again. And I would advise you don't buy anything from them. There products are shoddy and they do not back up their products when they are clearly responsible. Attached are pictures of the alternator with the date of instillation and the Simplest makings
Next day orders are NEVER NEXT DAY. The discounts they email loyal customers are NOT ACCEPTED IN THE STORES. They charge your credit card when you place an order and when it takes over a week and you haven't received anything they won't give you a refund or cancel the order.
These guys are a bunch of clowns who don't have a clue what they are doing.
They are definitely not CAR GUYS and have no concept of customer service or retention of customers.
Might want to offer better compensation to draw some employees who have a bit of common sense and hopefully some brain matter. Your business model is void of long term business values and shows your focus is on making money on the backs of your employees and customers.

On October 19,5:30 pm, I tried to purchase a motorcycle battery from AutoZone in Montgomery, Texas. My son was stranded about 20 miles away on the side of the road, therefore I was in a hurry. The clerk, 20s, full beard, short- about 5' 5", showed me the rack of motorcycle batteries. I asked for his help, and he informed me that "This is an Auto Parts store, not a Cycle or ATV parts store". He walked away and refused to assist me. I then drove 1 minute to O'Reilly's who was happy to help me. I also told them about my AutoZone encounter. One of their clerks told me about a lady asking for a boat item from this AutoZone store, and they had her follow them outside, pointed to the sign and asked her if it said anything about Boats. The Montgomery AutoZone has a systematic problem with poor customer service, and the Manager is either condoning or perhaps encouraging such behavior. Everyone I have told (and I am telling everyone!) has stories highlighting the poor service and stating they will not ever go back to AutoZone.
Mr. Nana gave me prompt services, checked the engine light and gave me quality service. He was very attentive to my requests and had to be patient to check if it fits.
I ordered a windshield wiper switch on their website and it was supposed to come in a week or two and it's been a month and the only thing it says is "ready to ship".
I recently went to AutoZone 4 months ago for a new alternator for a Hyundai Elantra SE 2015. I gave the manager there all my information and he even installed it for me, here i am 4 months later with a burned out alternator making a very loud noise and smells of rubber. I go back to autozone to buy a replacement and all they have is refurbished once again i give them my car model and they gave me a 90 amp. I installed in my car that day and immediately it's burned of rubber and makes a loud sound and my battery shuts off. I return to the autozone i purchased it from and the manager told me my battery was on 0% bc of the wrong alternator and that the new smell coming from the car was engine fluid and that i also didn't have anti-freeze which was full. (which i new was wrong) so i go to another autozone to find out that they sold me a koran model when i told them i need a US model. 5 auto zones later and not a single one carries a US model alternator all only carry koran. I place an order for one as was told it would be delivered in 3 days i go to pick it up and they told "oh well the order never went through" mean while they never called to contact me to replace the order or tried mean while i am a member with my number on file. I places an order again and once again they ordered the wrong model and it's another koran. So 2 weeks later and i still have no alternator and waiting for the correct one to be installed i do not recommend going to the following locations: all in Philadelphia PA- 2101 W oregon Ave ******* - 2726 Front St ******* - 1730 Washington Ave ******* - 2448 N broad St *******.
Juan the manager checked my headlight bulb because I was told by my garage said it would be 200$ but jaun found the bulb and put it in for$18 WOW that was awesome service I am going on a trip today thanks jaun.
I ordered 2 sets of brakes on March 3 with next day delivery. I received an email that the order would be delayed by 24 hours and offered a $10 gift card. The order still hadn't shipped after 24 hours so I contacted AutoZone and was told it would ship the next day. After 4 days, no shipment. I called again and was told it would be delivered in 3 days. No shipment. I've called for a third time( now having spent over an hour on the phone (for a measly $10 reimbursement) to cancel the order and I am being told they will not cancel it or refund the money because FedEx has to pick it up. It's canceled- there's nothing to pick up anymore.
I'm not sure where the incompetence lies, from the warehouse, to the customer service, to the supervisors, it's baffling that no one can get a straight answer. It's even more insane to think that's a third party logistics company has anything to do with a transaction between AutoZone and their customer. If an order is canceled and has not shipped, why does Fed Ex have anything to do with refunding the order?
Alas, I'm standing at the register to buy the brakes from Advanced Auto Parts as I'm writing this. AutoZone is ridiculously messy. I'm curious of how long it's going to take to get my money back, or if I'm going to be stuck in limbo for that too. BUYER BEWARE!

I feel bad for I didn't get the gentleman's name even though I know he said it. I was having extremely rough morning everything was going wrong as well as just lost my husband Recently and my mom isnt doing well! Went to start my car to take my mom to a apt and it didn't start and had to have it jumped to get started. I ended up kept my car running took my mom to an appointment and took it to AutoZone on peach st here in Erie pa! I was trying to hold it together while telling him what I needed to buy but was unable to hold my self together.I lost it and Blurted out that I was sorry for being emotional and he said everyone looses it sometimes. I told him how I'm trying to hold it together for my babies and my mom and that I couldn't even find the hood lid to open it this morning. I just needed my husband who is no longer with me. He gave me a hug, listening ear without judging and my car was all good to go! Thank you! I hope your employee is paid well or they get a pay raise! You could never ask for a Better employee than the ones I met today.
Ordered a part that was listed as being delivered the next day and 3 days past and I called to find out why delay. I was told the part had to be special ordered and that the person forgot to contact me to let me know. I asked to cancel the order and was told that it could not be cancelled because the part was being shipped within a week. I relied on getting the part next day as I was told and I took the car apart in preparation for getting the part. Now I have my car taken apart and sitting for a week in the driveway. Very poor service and communication and I am not happy. Now I have no car, and have to wait and order a part locally from a different supplier for more money. VERY UNRELIABLE STORE AND VERY POOR COMMUNICATION ON A DELAY THAT IF KNOWN, I COULD HAVE BOUGHT ELSEWHERE, AND MY ACCOUNT WAS CHARGED FOR A PART I DONT HAVE AND A REFUND IS REFUSED.
Ordered next day and the took my money and got no product. Only thing I got was lied to. Never got my money. Going thru visa to get money back. Never Never do business with this company.
On April 20th, 2019 I ordered part number EN26 "Bosch Envision Wiper Blade (Windshield)- Front" (Order Number *******411) and it clearly says "IT FITS. This product is a fit for your: 2012 Toyota Prius Two 1.8L MFI HEV DOHC 4cyl". When I installed it on my car, it clearly does not fit. It is way too long. Customer service did not even acknowledge that their website had made a mistake or seem to care. I am overseas and they will not even provide free return shipping label. Instead i have to send it and scan proof of payment, etc. not worth the hassle. Will nor be shopping at autozone online again.
Was in store today and it was hotter in there than it was outside. Was only in there 5 minutes and sweating like crazy don't know how employees can stand it
Usually i avoid autozone like the plague knowing most of their parts are junk but i was heading out of town in a few days and wanted to check my a/c refrig... the so called expert recommended one of the products they sell that is a can of refrig with a hose and a gauge... you plug it in, read the pressure and if its low you pull the trigger and add until full... sounds easy enough... so i pay over $50 bucks for this can with a gauge... plug it in... GREAT... pressure reads full... thinking to myself i can use this to check my daughters car... then i unplug the connection and hear my port hissing and spitting out compressor oil... great... now i have a leak thanks to the piece of $#*!t the autozone expert recommended to me... when i confronted them about what was happening they had the nerve to tell me "nothing we can do about it, you will need to take it to a shop and have it fixed" NO... How about this... how about i just tell you and your piece of $#*!t company to go pound sand and spend my money at a reputable auto parts house.
Giving you a one-star because I have to otherwise it would have been a big fat zero. I have never been so disgusted and appalled at the same time. I walk into a store with two employees and older man and a kid working at the counter nobody else was in there. I needed help. I needed to find the screws to mount my license plates to my new vehicle I didn't know what size I am not a mechanic or a trade person whatsoever. I don't know certain sizes of screws. So I asked if I could get some help with matching screw sizes. His response to me" You're going to have to go figure that out on your own." The manager wouldn't even help me! He just turned around walked outside to smoke a cigarette. One of the customers that heard the conversation actually walked outside with me to tell me what I needed and to go across the street to O'Reilly's and that's exactly what I did. So did he. He was shocked by what he heard. I have shopped with AutoZone for years, spent tons of money. I will never walk the foot in any of your stores nationwide again! I wound up spending three times as much money with O'Reilly's because not only did they treat me with respect and dignity that I deserve as a paying customer, they mounted the plates for me. While these two guys over at AutoZone are screwing around disrespecting clients, and not doing their job. They don't deserve to work You're losing business because of those two. I tell you what if I ever caught my employee treating a customer like that they'd be fired on the spot. I expect corporate to do something about this
Some days ago we visited the store located at 4654 Lake Worth Rd., Greenacres Fl and we are very glad to say there was an awesome and very helpful sales person. Her name is Yanet. Her service and very nice, helpful assistance make ma day a really happy;da. Even when in AutoZone we received every tima a good service, I should say YANET was simply EXCEPTIONAL. Great jpb, very nice character, efficiency and a very helpful attitude..
Answer: Nope. Bunch of ameteurs. Even their oil and windshield wiper fluid is way overpriced. If you want your order to be fulfilled correctly, them go somewhere else. Amazon is too incompetent to handle even basic orders placed via their app. Customer service list tells you "Oh well". Pathetic.
Answer: It's not too hard to find someone working inside Autozone. What's hard to find in Autozone is someone who doesn't argue with a person who is qualified to work on practically every vehicle and knows what they're talking about. I guess that being a computer jockey makes them a certified mechanic.
Answer: If not in any particular hurry, I prefer to wait for 3-5 days to get my auto parts which was ordered on Hexautoparts. Com. They has lowest price with the most cooperative customer service. I saved a lot of money with HexAutoParts.
