A Visual Landscaping

The Company 'A Visual Landscaping" owned by Tharen Hopke is a price gouger. I asked for his services in building a water feature; I showed him pictures of what I wanted but despite the pictures and numerous objections he insisted on building what he wanted. Be forewarned that this person will lie to you, gouge you and do less than satisfactory work on your project despite his promises and assurances... you will regret it more than any other contractor regrets you have had in the past.

After $8,000.00 and a pond less than 25% complete I cancelled the project due to his incompetency and dishonesty.

I paid him what he asked and I asked for receipts for the products/material so that I could return them. He agreed and now refuses to provide the receipts.

He claims that the ponds that are shown on the ABC landscaping website are his work and directed me to their website. After speaking with the owner of ABC Landscaping, the ponds are in fact not his work at all. Tharen will tell you that he left ABC landscaping when in fact he was fired. When he is questioned about past unsatisfied customers he refuses to answer any questions and deflects the conversation by calling his unsatisfied customers "crazy, or on drugs".

Do not trust this person in any way shape or form; you will get ripped off.
