This is a review of Backgroundchecks.com's Driving Record Report service. DON'T USE IT. It will cost you $60. It isn't certified and! You can get the same online report from your DMV's website for $10. Backgroundchecks.com uses pop ups and a fake website to lead you to their report when you google DMV Driving Record. I wasted 4 hours at the DMV today trying to use their useless, overpriced report. When I called, they told me they had a no-refund policy and didn't care if I went online and wrote a bad review. So. Here's my 'bad review'. Save yourself some time and money and block this company from your browser.

100% Scam! Credential process lasted over 3 days when I found another company, that did it in the same day. Phone support of backgroundchecks.com did not give any time frame and idea when to expect my reports. Then I asked backgroundchecks.com to cancel this reports and close my account that they did immediately within few hours, with no refund explaining that their policy does not allow any refunds and that they did this reports, and I wasn't being able to see them just because I didn't finish their credential process. Very convenient. This is probably the same what is going to happen with you.

Why must I even leave 1 star for this Horrible experience? I needed a quick copy of my Driving Record to email to an Apostille in D.C. To be sent overseas. Background checks.com sent me an incomplete report showing both my name and birthdate could not be verified! I had to have a friend receive the paper copy from the DMV in my home state to be sent to D.C. For Apostille. This cost me a lot of extra time that I did not have! My home state DMV found both my name and birthdate for $5. Background checks charged me $49.99 for a worthless document. I phoned customer service and they refused a refund. These guys are CROOKS! Now, I'm having to open and pursue a claim with my credit card company to get my money back!
